boyeon always starts her days off by waking up at 4:30am in order to take care of her precious skin through a rigorous procedure she calls a makeup routine. lucky enough, she's one of the few to wake up extremely early, so she spends as much time as she needs in order to finish her light application of makeup before retreating back to her shared room to put on her outfit for the upcoming day and snag her usual coffee to get her going.
if she has an early class that day, usually her earliest is 7:00am, she tends to be the first in the room, if not the second or third. if she has an afternoon class, usually around 2:00pm, she spends the morning just roaming the streets and getting a decent brunch inbetween. during class, boyeon pays attention like the good student many of the teachers know her as. she rarely slacks off and always gets high reports and praises. it's not uncommon for boyeon to skip or miss out even half of the period, unless she's sick or called down somewhere. although it's just classes for teacher, or dance, boyeon continues to do well and manage her schedule with ease. during lunch, she's usually spotted alone either in the cafeteria eating or in the library, unless, miraculously, her boyfriend or dormmates aren't hanging with their pals. but, even so, she enjoys the lack of company, even if people think the opposite.

BACKGROUND:
september 19, 1997 — daegu, south korea @ 8:17PM.
boyeon was born into a fairly small family in daegu where, luckily, she lived as a middle-class citizen. her father, at the time of her birth, was an army lietenant while her mother was a choreographer for a public theatre. she also had an older brother who was two years older and was the one that took care of her, along with their mother's close friend, whenever their parents had conflicting schedules and couldn't watch over boyeon. she didn't live a life of moneymanhi manhi nor was she well-known as a kid, but she lived her life to the fullest with those around her.
january 21, 2009 — incheon, south korea @ 3:38PM.
around the time she was eight, her brother being ten, she had to move out to incheon. why? her mother had gotten a job to run a dance studio in her name, and her father had to live closer to incheon international airport in order to travel for his job. both boyeon and her brother wasn't fond of this idea as they loved daegu and the people in it, but it had to happen. they had no control over their parents' decisions. so, there goes the cha family to incheon in order to make ends meet.
november 27, 2012 — aranas, afghanistan @ 10:18AM.
this was a time of tragedy for the cha family, and for reasons that many around them know about. as they continued to live in incheon, they became the talk of the town. boyeon's mother ran a successful dance studio in seoul that, not only children attended, but also adults as well. it was a welcoming studio that everyone went to in order to dance or throw parties, because, yes, her mother allowed the place to be "party central". her brother, at only thirteen, was able to get a lead role in a musical hosted by seoul's fine arts theatre and gained a lot of attention for his skills in musical theatre. boyeon, now eleven, was passionate in ballet, and was always seen in her mother's dance studio practicing for hours upon hours. however, that all came crumbling down. on october 12, 2012, a few days before her father's birthday, they had gotten two letters: one from the republic of korea armed forces and another from her father. the first letter from the republic told about the strength and leadership of her father, only to end it with her father's dog tag and time of death, november 27. yes, her father died in action while the war in afghanistan was at its highest peak. her father's letter? it was three seperate letters, one for each of them, and they all contained the same general message: i love you, and i'll miss you all.
december 9, 2012 — seoul, south korea @ 2:00PM.
the day of her father's funeral was talked about by many, and all for the wrong reasons. you see, her father was beloved by both the government and their close friends. he was a lietenant and a father, husband and friend, and this sudden turn of events was something know one really was expecting. yet, it happened, and it was a breaking point for the cha family. boyeon was the one who was lost, and it's not because she was the youngest out of everyone. she was always close with her father and was always the one who would write to him on behalf of the whole family. they would talk about how their day was and how she took an intereest for certain things— she was daddy's little girl. yet, because of her father's death, she didn't know what else to do. after the funeral, she cried for a good week and only ate small snacks. she became famished and dehydrated, but she wanted it that way. she never got to formally say goodbye to her father, and she hated herself for that. she wanted to do so many things together with him when he would come home, but that was all shattered. boyeon didn't know what to do or where to go from that point on, but, luckily, she had a brother who knew how to pick her up again.
march 29, 2013 — incheon, south korea @ 9:04AM.
it took awhile for boyeon to get back into the swing of things, but, with the help of her brother cheering her up 24/7 with his happy-go-lucky ways, she was able to go back into doing the things she loved, all in dedication to her father. she continued ballet after a few months away from it, and she even spent a few days to herself away from school to get back into the swing of things. her brother continued to do musical theatre and her mother continued the dance studio, despite the death. boyeon took the longest into getting out of the grieving phase, and, because of that sudden event, boyeon became more introverted than previous years. she still smiled, that was one of her charms, however, she kept to herself most of the time. but that was her choice, to change.

boyeon was born into a fairly small family in daegu where, luckily, she lived as a middle-class citizen. her father, at the time of her birth, was an army lietenant while her mother was a choreographer for a public theatre. she also had an older brother who was two years older and was the one that took care of her, along with their mother's close friend, whenever their parents had conflicting schedules and couldn't watch over boyeon. she didn't live a life of money
january 21, 2009 — incheon, south korea @ 3:38PM.
around the time she was eight, her brother being ten, she had to move out to incheon. why? her mother had gotten a job to run a dance studio in her name, and her father had to live closer to incheon international airport in order to travel for his job. both boyeon and her brother wasn't fond of this idea as they loved daegu and the people in it, but it had to happen. they had no control over their parents' decisions. so, there goes the cha family to incheon in order to make ends meet.
november 27, 2012 — aranas, afghanistan @ 10:18AM.
this was a time of tragedy for the cha family, and for reasons that many around them know about. as they continued to live in incheon, they became the talk of the town. boyeon's mother ran a successful dance studio in seoul that, not only children attended, but also adults as well. it was a welcoming studio that everyone went to in order to dance or throw parties, because, yes, her mother allowed the place to be "party central". her brother, at only thirteen, was able to get a lead role in a musical hosted by seoul's fine arts theatre and gained a lot of attention for his skills in musical theatre. boyeon, now eleven, was passionate in ballet, and was always seen in her mother's dance studio practicing for hours upon hours. however, that all came crumbling down. on october 12, 2012, a few days before her father's birthday, they had gotten two letters: one from the republic of korea armed forces and another from her father. the first letter from the republic told about the strength and leadership of her father, only to end it with her father's dog tag and time of death, november 27. yes, her father died in action while the war in afghanistan was at its highest peak. her father's letter? it was three seperate letters, one for each of them, and they all contained the same general message: i love you, and i'll miss you all.
december 9, 2012 — seoul, south korea @ 2:00PM.
the day of her father's funeral was talked about by many, and all for the wrong reasons. you see, her father was beloved by both the government and their close friends. he was a lietenant and a father, husband and friend, and this sudden turn of events was something know one really was expecting. yet, it happened, and it was a breaking point for the cha family. boyeon was the one who was lost, and it's not because she was the youngest out of everyone. she was always close with her father and was always the one who would write to him on behalf of the whole family. they would talk about how their day was and how she took an intereest for certain things— she was daddy's little girl. yet, because of her father's death, she didn't know what else to do. after the funeral, she cried for a good week and only ate small snacks. she became famished and dehydrated, but she wanted it that way. she never got to formally say goodbye to her father, and she hated herself for that. she wanted to do so many things together with him when he would come home, but that was all shattered. boyeon didn't know what to do or where to go from that point on, but, luckily, she had a brother who knew how to pick her up again.

it took awhile for boyeon to get back into the swing of things, but, with the help of her brother cheering her up 24/7 with his happy-go-lucky ways, she was able to go back into doing the things she loved, all in dedication to her father. she continued ballet after a few months away from it, and she even spent a few days to herself away from school to get back into the swing of things. her brother continued to do musical theatre and her mother continued the dance studio, despite the death. boyeon took the longest into getting out of the grieving phase, and, because of that sudden event, boyeon became more introverted than previous years. she still smiled, that was one of her charms, however, she kept to herself most of the time. but that was her choice, to change.

june 12, 1999 — y'know, our moms tried playing matchmaker.
the two, though polar opposites, had always had it going for them in an almost positive direction. their mothers were great friends (they had gone to high school together) prior to the birth of their children. although boyeon was months older than taehyung, nearly seven months older to be exact, their story could play off as one seen in movies. when boyoung and taehyung met one summer day, boyeon being two and taehyung being one at the time of their first meeting, they took an immediate interest in each other. whether it's because they've never met before or because bongyoung had forced the two to interact, they pretty much hit it off immediately. there was one instance, in fact, where both their mothers had hoped the two would see the day where they'd be more than friends. but taehyung and boyeon didn't know about this and just continued to enjoy their closeknit friendship with bongyoung.
december 31, 2008 — you moved and i was pretty heartbroken.
now both being eleven, it came the time where everything just suddenly crumbled down. the two had this, what they called, a 'buddy system' where they would do everything together, be it going to their school's playground together, meeting up for lunch in elementary school— the two were practically inseperable. but even the good has an end sometimes. boyeon had to move because of her parents' request as her mother got a job in seoul and her father had to be closer to incheon international airport. not wanting to make such a long commute everyday, the cha family had moved, and this actually enraged taehyung a bit. this small eleven year-old was completely and utterly upset over the hearing of one of his closest friends moving weeks after his birthday. yet, things had to happen, and it had to be something as big as this.
october 5, 2012 — how've you been? are you okay?
now being fifteen, taehyung still fourteen at the time, the two had lost contact within those four years being away from one another. boyeon had gone to do her own thing, which was ballet as her mother opened up a dance studio in seoul back in 2009, and taehyung had went to pursue a lifelong dream of his. they never called, yet they always relayed messages to their mothers to ask about the latter. for the most part, they only "talked" to each other through their mothers, yet they began to learn how much they both grew in the span of four years.
october 28, 2015 — did you miss me as much as i missed you?
now a student in hwanggeum university, boyeon nearly forgot about taehyung. because of how busy she became in the span of three years, with ballet and school taking over her life, there would be brief moments where she wouldn't remember taehyung whenever her mother mentioned him asking about her. two months after being seperated as childrenstruggling through puberty, taehyung soon popped the question to boyeon as his own personal birthday gift. however, because of the sudden question after only seeing each other again two months ago, boyeon boldly declined. taehyung was upset over this, but he respected her decision as she explained how she would like time to get used to the school and settle in before dating. taehyung accepted his fate, however, he promised her that he'd be the first and last guy she'd ever date, no matter what she said.

not even half a year later, and taehyung was still persistent in making boyeon his.(will this kid every stop, wtf??!) he would send little messages to boyeon early in the morning that always mentioned how beautiful she looked, and in return, she'd always say "but you're not here, wdym". taehyung always responded with a cringe-worthy text along the lines of "you're always in my head, and you've always been beautiful to me". his texts to her, ever since the new year rolled in, have been based off of cheesy pick-up lines that, not only made boyeon cringe every part of her body, but it always made her roommate laugh as her roommate would always wonder as to why boyeon would roll her eyes at her phone at 6am. but, nevertheless, boyeon found it cute how he's still trying after so long. but boyeon still would tell him "no".

the two, though polar opposites, had always had it going for them in an almost positive direction. their mothers were great friends (they had gone to high school together) prior to the birth of their children. although boyeon was months older than taehyung, nearly seven months older to be exact, their story could play off as one seen in movies. when boyoung and taehyung met one summer day, boyeon being two and taehyung being one at the time of their first meeting, they took an immediate interest in each other. whether it's because they've never met before or because bongyoung had forced the two to interact, they pretty much hit it off immediately. there was one instance, in fact, where both their mothers had hoped the two would see the day where they'd be more than friends. but taehyung and boyeon didn't know about this and just continued to enjoy their closeknit friendship with bongyoung.
december 31, 2008 — you moved and i was pretty heartbroken.
now both being eleven, it came the time where everything just suddenly crumbled down. the two had this, what they called, a 'buddy system' where they would do everything together, be it going to their school's playground together, meeting up for lunch in elementary school— the two were practically inseperable. but even the good has an end sometimes. boyeon had to move because of her parents' request as her mother got a job in seoul and her father had to be closer to incheon international airport. not wanting to make such a long commute everyday, the cha family had moved, and this actually enraged taehyung a bit. this small eleven year-old was completely and utterly upset over the hearing of one of his closest friends moving weeks after his birthday. yet, things had to happen, and it had to be something as big as this.

when they were just friends, their interactions ranged between long and random conversations to subtle skinship, and that was a normal thing between the two. they would talk hours upon hours about complete and utter nonsense. however, a lot changed from being good friends to a couple. once they started dating, they become more honest and open with each other and, on top of that, their skinship wasn't subtle anymore. whenever one of them was sick, the other would take care of them until the person was back to their healthy self, or at least visit the other when they can. they would also make sure that neither of them had bad days, especially when taehyung was his extroverted self. their relationship was filled with utter care and love, but, of course, their relationship isn't as perfect as people think it is. even though they've known each other since they were practically in diapers, they tend to fight over the smallest of things, usually about each other's personalities as they're two different people. boyeon sometimes complains about taehyung being too loud and talking too much. not only that, but the fact that taehyung rarely asks questions, which only bothers boyeon as she shares when she's asked, so when taehyung doesn't ask, she'll feel neglected and unheard by him. as for taehyung towards boyeon, it's usually because of her quiet demeanor and lack of communication along with her wish of being alone most of the time when he's available to her practically 24/7. it's these small problems that erupted in their relationship that makes the two parties question whether or not they're made for each other. even despite these problems arising, though, they still manage to show their utter affection and care, trying their best to meet up. if they can't meet up, they text, call or video chat whilst doing homework. when none of those options are possible, they'll spend a sunday together as that's the one day they're both free of chaotic schedules.
taehyung was always a caring and thoughtful boyfriend. although he was loud and a "unique" character at times, he always remembered the important dates and facts that boyeon easily forgets if not mentioned constantly. he also has no shame, emphasis on no shame, in getting the things that boyeon desperately needs, even if it means that he has to buy pads/tampons for her along with the ice cream and desserts needed to help mend "niagra falls of blood", or so he calls it. all he wants to do is make her happy and do the things that no other person has done for her. even despite all the problems with understanding his introverted girlfriend, he still loves her no matter what.
