AUTHOR’S POV

     Dara woke up very early because she decided to make a breakfast for her friend, Bom. She knows Bom is still not okay. And right after what happened between the talk she had with TOP, Dara knew she cried a lot that night. TOP is very important to her best friend, and breaking up with him is not that easy for her.

     Dara smiled seeing her reflection on the mirror in front of her. “Fighting!”..  she said. she then walked out from her room to prepare their breakfast, but stopped for a while when she heard some noise coming from the  kitchen.  When she reached the kitchen, she frowned seeing a familiar back doing something….. “Bommie?” she softly called

     Bom flinched hearing her friend calling her… she sighed and turned around to face her, hands on her chest… “aigoo dara-ah, you’re going to give me a heart attack….”

     “i-im sorry….” Dara said, giving her a confused look… “b-but…. What a-are you d-doing here?.. and what’s that?” she asked pointing the thing that she’s holding….

     Bom frowned as she looked down on what is Dara pointing…. And looked up to face her again… “why? What’s wrong with this?” she questioned back… “can’t I cook now? As far as I can remember, this is our dorm, so I can do everything….”

     “it’s not what I mean… it’s just---“

    Bom sighed “aigoo, Dara-yah…. I’m hungry that’s why I decided to cook” She said, walking towards the table and place the plate that she’s holding on the table….

     Dara’s eyes still glued to her, observing her every action. She didn’t expect this… she thought Bom would still sulking on her room…

     “what?” Bom asked as she noticed Dara staring at her….

     “Bom-“

     “Dara-yah…. I’m really hungry, let’s eat now… huh?” Bom said, pouting….

     Dara can’t help but to smile seeing her best friend being dorky again…. “Arasso…” she said sitting on the chair…

     “Aigoo….” Bom clapped like a child while looking on the food in front of her… “I missed eating….” She said which made Dara laughed….

      “Yah! Why are you laughing!”  Bom raised her voice

     Dara shook her head…  “ nothing… it’s just that…-“

     “it’s just that you didn’t expect me to see doing this now…”  Bom finished her sentence…  “Dara sulking and crying won’t solve the problem that me and Tabi have. I’ve been crying a lot these past few days and I guess that’s enough…”

     “but bom…”

      “and of course… I should be a good role model to you because I’m always telling you that crying won’t solve anything….”  Bom said, winking at Dara…. “okay, stop the drama and let’s eat…” 

     Dara smiled seeing her best friend back to her old self again. but she knows behind that smile is the pain that she’s keeping from her. she knows Bom is still hurting, but she’s showing her stronger side. She feels sad for her best friend…

     While Bom is eating, she knows that Dara is staring at her. she knows that she made Dara confused by her action, and she’s not stupid not to know what she is doing. “Mian-he Dara… I have to keep this pain… I don’t want to burden you now… you still have a problem and I don’t want to add on that… I know that you have a feeling that I’m pretending, but at least seeing me smiling can ease your worries about me……” Bom thought to herself.

     “but Bommie….” Dara break the silence…. “are you sure you’re okay? What’s your plan now?”

     Bom drunk her water before looking at her, she smiled… “I love him but I already did everything that I can… I already explained everything to him, but I guess it didn’t work. The decision is on him now. Whatever decision he make, I will respect that….” She answered trying her best not to show how hard it is for her to say those words….

     “But what if he…. He …”

     “if breaking up with me could ease the pain that he’s feeling because of me, then I will accept it….” Bom said forcing her self to smile, but deep inside her, her heart is breaking into pieces…

      “she’s still hurting…” dara thought to herself. She could see the pain through Bom’s eyes…. “Bommie…” she softly called

     “uhmmmmm…” Bom said not meeting Dara’s eyes…

     Dara stared at her, having a second thought if she’s going to tell her the talk she had with Youngbae… she sighed…. “youngbae and I talked last night….” She started, waiting for her reaction…

     “I know…” Bom answered while eating…..

     “Bommie, I think both of you should talk…”  Dara said…

      “we have nothing to talk about…”  Bom said…

     Dara can see Bom’s change of mood when she opened about Youngbae.  “Bommie you need to talk to him, clear everything to him…” 

     Bom then face her….  “no Dara. he ruined everything. We have nothing to talk about… we’re through…”

     “for you, but not for him…”  Dara said

     Bom frowned… “what do you mean?”

     “Bommie-ah, you two didn’t have a good break up… both of you didn’t talk to each other to clear everything. After Youngbae left, you just assume that he broke up with you. but for him, he didn’t. he’s still hoping that you will realize that you still love him, that you will come back to him…. he’s thinking that you’re just using TOP…” Dara explained

     “what!” Bom yelled… “I’m not using Tabi!” she said defensively…

     Dara nods….  “I know… that’s why you have to talk to him and clear everything. I know you’re hurting, but he’s hurting too, Bom. both of you are hurting and you have to put an end to it so both of could free yourself from the past, especially him. he loves you Bom, but even if it hurts him you have to put a closure on your past….”  She said with concerned. She love both of them and it hurts her seeing her two
