Description

 

Choi Minho is a prolific athlete. Kim Kibum aka "Key" is an aspiring fashion designer and makeup artist. The two meet at a special school and fall in love in spite of stark opposition in their lives. 

Characters

Choi Minho- a soccer player who enjoys playing sports and being outside. The son of a famous soccer coach, he is forced to attend the Genie school by his father. He is usually reserved and has no interest in dating but takes a liking to Key.

Kim Kibum aka Key- An aspiring fashion designer and makeup artist who works in the art/fashion department at Genie. He is heartbroken after his previous girlfriend cheated on him. He ends up falling for his roommate Minho.

Nicole- Key's best friend.  She is also an athlete and loyal and faithful to Key. She is known to be understanding of others and helps Key be with Minho.

Lee Taemin- Minho's best friend. Though some see him as a womanizer, he is lonely and wishes to find a girlfriend, as well as one for Minho. 

Kim Jonghyun- a popular Genie alumni and Key and Nicole's good friend. He is known around Genie for his physique, competitiveness and charming good looks.

Foreword

 

It was indeed Choi Minho. The very same one. His hair was trimmed short. He looked a bit more mature, a bit more buff, but he was still as handsome as ever. 
 
For a moment, I just stood there, watching him from afar embrace the woman and plant a peck on her lips. The moment probably lasted a couple of seconds, but in my mind it lasted ages. I couldn't stop looking at him. It was him. The person who made me remember what love was.  
 
 
It's been years since I left him for Paris. Who could have figured that I'd eventually see him in Seoul?
 
As I kept my focus on him, reality slowly set in and settled in my stomach. He's with someone now. Either a girlfriend or a wife. He's not with me. They looked so happy together. They were embracing and making out and pecking each other cutely. They laughed and smiled as they talked to each other. None of it seemed forced. 
 
That slimmer of happiness that was there only for a moment swiftly shriveled up inside of me as I slowly turned away. He hadn't seen me this whole time. And that's how I wanted it to be. I wasn't ready to meet him. Especially knowing that he had clearly moved on.
