The instructor left the boy lying on the floor, sweating and almost out of breath from too much sparring with an older man twice his height. He is so frustrated and close to crying, he can't understand why he has to learn how to fight and why he needs to do lots of training to strengthen his body. He knows that his father is the Alpha of the pack, but he will not transform into a wolf until he turns 13 years of age. His father should let him continue playing with his friends or leave him in peace while he paints in their garden. Yifan looked at the clock hanging on the wall, he only has 3 minutes left before the instructor will return and start beating him again because there is no way he can win against that man. He heard footsteps outside the building and a paper airplane pass through the window and landed where Yifan was lying. Even without looking at the paper plane he knew that it was from his friends, he can smell them the moment he heard their footsteps. He abruptly sat up and open the paper plane, to see what his friends are up to. The message is written on a piece of paper that said that they were up to no good again. Yifan did not hesitate, he only has 1 minute before the instructor returns. He willed for his small black wings to appear and lifted himself on air. His only escape route is the small window that can barely fit his body. He barely made it out when his sparring instructor arrived at the training room.
