“Did you sleep?” Jonghyun hunches over Key’s bedside. Kibum immediately notices the healing split on Jonghyun’s lip, the inflation around it is speckled green and purple. Key chooses to ignore this new feature.

Kibum pulls a thin sheet over himself, “I don’t remember.”

Jonghyun lightly tugs the blanket off his face, “tell me what you do remember.”

“I had a dream … possibly. I don’t know. I was awake one second and waking up the next,” Key stares at Jonghyun through one eye.

Jonghyun places a hand on Kibum’s forehead, “tell me about the dream.”

Kibum holds Jonghyun’s hand to keep him from moving away, “Well I had more than one dream since you left. One had my husband, but he wasn’t supposed to be there. The other had him again, but he started off as my ghost. Then it flashed to another memory.”

Jonghyun takes a seat without pulling his hand away, “What memory?”

Kibum picks up Jonghyun’s heavy hand, “it was the accident.”

Jonghyun pulls his legs onto the bed, “the accident, we’ve never talked about that before. Do you feel comfortable enough to talk about it now?”

Key begins to tap his face with Jonghyun’s hand, “not really.”

Jonghyun laughs, “What are you doing?”

Kibum moves the limp hand down to his neck, “nothing.”

“I understand you’re reasons for avoiding such a difficult topic,” Jonghyun clears his throat, “how about you tell me what you saw before that then.” He remembers that well, hands wrapped tightly around his waist. He can still recall the feeling of Minho pressed against his body as he lied on the kitchen counter.

Key blushes at the thought, “no … I don’t want to talk about that either.”

Jonghyun’s palm creeps to the base of Key’s neck, “you’re not leaving me with a lot to work with here. Was it an intimate dream?”

Kibum smiles turning away, “I don’t want to talk about it.”

“What was he doing to you?” Jonghyun whispers playfully. Key squirms away, wrapping himself in his blankets. “It’s good to see you in such a playful mood,” Jonghyun lies down in Kibum’s old spot. “I’m sorry.”

Key crawls out of his cocoon, “for what?”

Jonghyun interlocks his fingers over his chest, “you’ll see soon enough. I just want you to remember, if you remember anything at all, that I had no say … I’ve lost control.” Kibum can read the anxiety on Jonghyun’s countenance all too well.

Cookies, I posted my other story :3 It got an upvote, surprisingly enough. I'm tempted to finish this story today, but I just keeping thinking about more things to add. I supose I should end it already. It's had a good long run. It's about time I stop confusing you guys and just spill the beans. I'll work on it all day today. I won't step away even for a moment. Let's see where that gets me. Moveslikeshinee, sorry about that xD I don't know how many more times you guys are gonna let me mess with your minds before you get tired of me.
