"How’s the journal going,” Jonghyun asks.

“It’s going,” Key sighs while sitting back on his couch.

Jonghyun pouts, “are you sleeping any better now?”

“Oh definitely, I sleep all the time now,” Key laughs.

Jonghyun gets up and walks around the room, “that’s not good either Key. Try to keep busy. Should I replace your TV?”

Key waves a hand and shakes his head, “no, everything on it is stupid.”

Jonghyun picks up Kibum’s journal, “may I read this?”

Kibum rubs his face, “knock yourself out.” Jonghyun reads each page diligently. In what seems like seconds he reads all the entries.

He sets the book down on the counter, “Key your entries are much too light. Don’t be afraid to write more. Write about your experiences.”

Kibum groans, “I don’t want to write more, can’t I sulk in peace?”

Jonghyun slides the book over too Key, “no. It doesn’t suit you. If I don’t see improvement I won’t bring you anymore food.”

Key smirks, “good, maybe I’ll starve to death.”

Jonghyun scoffs, “oh please. You’re too much of a coward to let yourself wither into nothing.” Jonghyun walks off to put away the groceries. Jonghyun is careful with every product, even with its placement. Key often watched him from afar when he did anything. It was fascinating, he did everything so gently, so quietly, with such finesse. It reminded Kibum of something. Jonghyun coughs while leaning over the counter, “I’m leaving, is there anything you need?”

Kibum rolls onto his side, away from Jonghyun, “no, just leave.” Key can never hear Jonghyun’s footsteps, just the fabric of his clothing. Kibum often tries to focus on the sounds hoping to catch Jonghyun make an intrusive noise for once. Kibum looks back, the room is empty. He didn't even hear the door close. “I guess only his mouth does that,” Key tells himself.
