Chapter 25 - The Dance
The UnexpectedTaehyung POV
This whole week was weird. After their talk on Monday, Jongin no longer hang out with us and Kyungsoo was super quiet. I tried to talk to Kyungsoo but he said he was fine. When I ask about Jongin, Jungkook told me he had to practice his dancing routine but I know better. Just because I'm weird doesn't mean I'm stupid. Those two are fighting. I know I said I didn't want Jongin to be with Kyungsoo and all but seeing how he is right now is heartbreaking. I need to come up with a plan to get them together.
"Can you stop pacing?"
"What," I said.
"Stop walking around. You're giving me a headache," Jungkook said. We currently in his room, supposedly studying but my mind is too preoccupied with Jongin and Kyungsoo, I couldn't focus. Both of us decided to take a break.
"Stop watching me then," I said, continuing to pace around the room.
"I can't," he said, putting his hands behind his head. "Having you in my room is already distracting me."
"Maybe I should leave," I said, walking over to my backpack. As I retrieve my stuff, I turn around to find Jungkook blocking the door.
"You're not leaving. It's already dark outside," he said.
Rolling my eyes, I said, "I thought you said I'm distracting you."
"Just your walking is. That doesn't mean I don't want you here," he said, walking over to me and taking off my backpack. "Come and lie with me," he said, pulling me over to his bed and then proceeded to lie on it. Seeing me stand there, he reaches out and pulls me down. "Now what's on your mind?"
"Jongin and Kyungsoo," I said, lying beside him.
"You're still thinking about them? Let them settle it within themselves," he said, scooting closer to me.
"But Kyungsoo is my best friend. If he's sad then I sad," I said, leaning on his shoulder. "I want to cheer him up."
"What are you going to do," he asked, resting his head over mine.
"I don't know," I said, closing my eyes. I'm totally stumped. What can I do to help them? After lying there in silence for a couple of minutes, a plan pop into my head. Well, more like an idea. "Jungkook," I said, turning on my side. "Let me see your phone."
"Why," he asked, looking down at me.
"I want to call Jongin," I said, poking his side. "Please?"
"Tell me what you're going to talk about first," he said.
"I don't know. I just want to see how he's feeling now," I answered. "Now, give it to me."
"Someone is turning into a bossy boyfriend," he said, digging into his pocket and pulling out his phone. "Here."
"Thanks," I said, grabbing the phone away from him and looking for Jongin contact number. "Oh, and I'm not a bossy boyfriend. A bossy boyfriend is someone who forces his boyfriend to kiss him by making him feel guilty."
"Hey. If I want a kiss from my boyfriend, then I should get a kiss," he said.
"Try being friendlier, that might earn you some kisses," I said. Once I found Jongin's number, I dial it and brought the phone to my ear.
"Is he..."
"Shhh!"
"I just wan
