What is that noise?

Am I dead?

I don't want to die yet.

"Is he going to be okay?"

Dad? Is that you? Who's going to be okay? Dad, where am I?

"Yes. He's stable now."

Who are you talking to? Why am I so tired? Why can't I open my eyes?

"That's good to hear. Thank you, doctor."

Doctor? You're talking to a doctor? Can you tell him to help me? My chest really hurt, right where my heart is.

"Let him rest for now. He'll be better when he wakes up."

Rest, that's sound good right now. I should rest.

Jungkook POV

After school, my dad kept his promise and drove me straight to the hospital where Taehyung was taken to. When I got there, I saw Kyungsoo waiting in the waiting room. He was excuse from school and was allowed to come with Taehyung for informational purposes. When I walk up to him, I can see dried tears mark all over his face. "Hey," I said to him. "How is he?"

"I don't know," he reply. "They haven't told me anything. His dad is currently in there with him and the doctor."

"Oh," I whisper, taking a seat next to him.

"It's my fault," I heard him say.

"How so," I ask, clearly confuse on how he is related to the situation. I thought it was my fault for Taehyung being here.

"If only I didn't ignore him this weekend, he would have been okay."

"I don't think it was your fault."

"No, it is. Taehyung is really fragile. He might not show it, but he takes thing serious to the head. That's why I've always check up on him over the weekend. To make sure he's okay."

"What do you mean," I ask, still confuse.

"Taehyung likes to blame himself for things he thinks he have done wrong. He punish himself for it. Sometimes he'll starve himself for the whole day and sometimes he'll keep himself awake, thinking he doesn't deserve foods or sleep. I would always be there for him just in case he does that. But I got mad at him this week so he thinks he doesn't deserve that stuff." Hearing these things, it could have been my fault. I crushed him when I told him I didn't like him. It was my fault. I remember the face he gave me when I said those words. It crushed him. God, I'm so stupid. "I hope he's alright."

"I hope so too," I said.

We sat there in silent for couple of minutes until Kyungsoo stood up. I was watching him as he walk towards a man that just came on of nowhere. I heard Kyungsoo say, "Mr. Kim, is Taehyung okay?" So that is Taehyung's dad. I can see where he get his looks from. I got up and walk towards them, to get a better understanding of what they saying. When I got they, Taehyung's father stared at me. That's right. We never actually meant before.

"Are you Taehyung's friend," he ask me. "I never seen you before."

"I'm Jungkook, sir. Jeon Jungkook," I introduce myself.

"Oh, so you're Jungkook."

"You know who I am? Did Taehyung mention about me?"

"I don't actually. Taehyung was saying your name while he was sleeping in there."

"Is he okay," Kyungsoo interrupt, grabbing a hold of Mr. Kim's arm.

"He's okay now, Kyungsoo. Can you do me a favor, Kyungsoo?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"I have to go back to work. Can you look after Taehyung for me until I come back tonight?"

"Of course. So does that mean we can go see him now?"

"Yes it does but he's still asleep."

"Oh. We'll try not to make any noise," he said with a smile.

"He'll be in room 128."

"Okay. I'll see you soon then," Kyungsoo said before he vanish behind the door.

"It's nice to meet you Jungkook," Mr. Kim said to me. "Take care of Taehyung for me."
