zero seven.
IndispensableThe Wu siblings left for Seoul two weeks later. They woke up before sunrise at about 5:15 China Standard Time (CST) since they had to reach Seoul at 9:00 Korea Standard Time (KST)
Neither had breakfast since there was only an hour until their flight took off. Once they showered, the duo hurriedly grabbed their luggages and set off. Their 20-minute journey from their apartment to the airport was awfully silent. Both of them kept mum with Seohun taking a glimpse of Yifan's expression every now and then. She sighed inwardly. He never did utter a word to her for the past 12 days. He only knocked one her door if it was time to eat. That was all. The only time he did talk to her, was to inform her of their flight back. And he didn't even let her answer afterwards. She knew Yifan was beyond pissed with her conclusion, but what can she do. It'll help the company and at the same time, this may help her forget about Kai completely.
And though the flight only lasted about an hour and forty-five minutes, add or substract a few minutes, Seohun felt like she was there for a few hours. The ride was painfully long. Yifan wasn't even looking at or talking to her. She finally gave up and tried to started to speak.
"Why must we leave so early in the morning?" she inquired, hoping to at least have a decent conversation.
"Dad." Yifan grimly answered.
Seohun frowned at her brother, lips forming a thin line. She rolled her eyes and glanced out the window, huffing.
She shifted and shifted to get a comfortable position so that she was able to get some shut eye. She felt extremely nervous somehow. And frightened. She didn't know what kind of person she was getting married to. She needed to talk to someone to calm herself down. But Yifan wasn't even making the situation any better. He only continued to read the book in his hands, keeping the stoic expression plastered on his face. Seohun grumbled under her breath and opted to just stare out the window.
As soon a the plane landed, Yifan grabbed his backpack and got down - leaving Seohun to tag behind. When they were about to collect their luggage, Seohun suddenly seized Yifan's forearm, immediately stepping forward to stand before him. Yifan's face, though, showed nothing but pure annoyance.
"Please just, talk to me." she muttered loud enough for him to hear. "You're being ridiculous, avoiding me and all."
Yifan scoffed in response, smirking lightly. "Me? Ridiculous?" he harshly pulled his arm away and rolled his eyes. "Says the person who is actually considering to get married to a total stranger."
Seohun was taken aback. Maybe she should've just left her brother alone. She was about to respond until Yifan held up a hand. "No. Just don't talk to me. How could you possibly listen to what he says, but ignore every single advice I give." there was a hint of sadness in his voice, stomping off afterwards.
Seohun hung her head and followed behind him, leaving an appropriate gap between them so that Yifan gets the space he deserved.
As they left the arrival hall, a young man wearing a navy blue top with light-coloured pants waved towards their direction - bowing as they came closer.
"Good morning," he smiled sincerely. "I hope you had a great flight."
