“Jung kook oppa!” A girl called out.
“Na Young-shi? When did you come back?” Jimin asked.
“Why don’t you sound excited the fact that I’m here oppa?”
“Hooray?” Jung kook questioned his cheer.
“Now you sound like Dae Eun-ah” Jung Ah protested.
“Who are these girls oppa?”
“Dae Eun-ah and Jung Ah-yah. This is Na Young.”
“Oppa. I’m hurt. While I’m gone you decided to hang out with other girls.”
“What’s your relationship with her?” Jung Ah asked out of the blue.
“We are friends.” Jung kook stated.
“Yeah. Friends.” Jimin said as he quoted the friends bit.
Once again, I decided to head to the park after texting Hyun-Shik. I decided to listen to music whilst walking there. It wasn’t far ahead and I needed a bit of exercise in my life. Yes… my life. As I continue to walk down the pathway, I saw a café that hadn’t noticed before… ever on my school rides home and back. I decided to go in and see what they had to serve. The line wasn’t extremely long, but there were many customers sitting and chatting here and there.
“Hi. What can I get you?” A young man asked me.
“Umm… Could I get a Tim-Tam milkshake with whipped cream?”
“What size were you after?”
“Large.” Jung kook ordered and walked beside me.
“Jung kookie-yah. Can’t you see I’m serving a customer?”
“I’m with the customer.” Jung kook said. I merely didn’t know what to say in this situation.
“Your girlfriend?” He asked. My eyes enlarged as I shook my head.
“Dae Eun-ah… this is Namjoon, aka Rap Monster. He graduated last year from Bernard Performing Arts School.”
“Rap… Monster?”
“Yeah. Problem?” Jung kook asked.
“No. It’s just unique that’s all.”
“So a large Tim-Tam milkshake with whipped cream?” Namjoon asked. Jung kook nodded taking the initiative in ordering my milkshake.
“How do you know Namjoon?” I asked as Jung kook and I sat at a table together facing each other.
“He’s a good friend of mine. He owns this café with his family. Yes, a family business.” I nodded in satisfaction.
“Can I ask you something…?” I questioned at Jung kook.
“Mmm?”
“What did Jimin mean by friends? Did something happen?”
“Why do you ask?”
“Why don’t you answer?”
“Are you jealous?”
“Why would I be jealous?”
“Instincts tell me you are and most of the time they are right.”
“That’s the problem. Most of the time.”
“She’s just a friend that happened to like me very much.”
“Ahh… I see.” Thankfu
