Innocent & Purely[CONTENTID1]Unintentially[/CONTENTID1]
[CONTENTID2]Coincidence? I think not[/CONTENTID2]
[CONTENTID3]The next day, Monday arrived to kill my joy in having a two day weekend. I get up 6am in the morning and I find myself descending the staircase lazily in my cotton pyjamas and a messy bun.
“Good morning Dae Eun-ah” One of the maids greeted. I didn’t like it when they called me ‘my lady’ or ‘your majesty.’ It was better for them to acknowledge me as someone they can talk to without any hesitation.
“Morning.” I smiled and nodded. I sat down at the counter, and there in front of my laid a plate of freshly cut apples, pears, a bunch of grapes and a glass of water. My parents were health food critics but they didn’t mind I had something sweet now and then. As long as I had a healthy breakfast in most routines, they were fine with it. I gulped down my orange juice after having finished eating the raw fruits that were served. I went upstairs to brush my teeth, took a shower and changed into my school uniform. I wore a white buttoning t-shirt with the school emblem on the upper left pocket, a sleeveless grey hoodie and then my blue school blazer, followed by a blue plaited skirt that were a few inches above my knee. Lastly, I put on my socks that weren’t too high and that weren’t ankle socks, finishing with my black converses. My shoes finished just above my ankle and my white socks were creased on top of it.
Hyun-Shik knocked on the door and his head peered through.
“Good morning starshine. The earth says hello!” Hyun-Shik greeted.
“Referencing Willy Wonka in the morning? Really?”
“I found it funny and a very amusing greeting. Don’t you agree?”
“Did you see me laughing?”
“On the inside.”
I walked toward the gate of the school that was surrounded by a bunch of students entering the school. I only saw 1/3 of the students in the entire school because my Performing Arts school that I attend is divided into 3 sections. There was the music industry, performing arts and the creative diligence. I was in the creative diligence community, therefore I only saw students who were in that particular building. The only time I saw the whole school gather was when we have assemblies announcing a special event that is to occur sometime in the year. Some of these occasions included the 3 groups competing against each other in a specific event or we were sometimes paired with them depending on the project. I entered the creative diligence building, which had an architecture of fine delicate columns that held walls of hanging artworks done by some students. I had 4 of my artworks to display, and to my dismay, I was proud of having them up to display for the 1/3 of student to see.
“DAE EUN-AH~” Someone called my name, and I recognised the voice a few seconds later. I received a bear hug from my best friend Jung Ah.
“How have you been? I’ve missed you!” Jung Ah cried out.
“I saw you
