That wasn’t even 5% percent of the whole conversation. Though, it did make me smile… a lot. I was laying on my bed as my head was parallel to the ceiling. Different scenarios were going through my head in how my parents would react if I told them. How should I tell them? I have never encountered this bit in books because either (1) their parents died (2) their parents hated the protagonist’s guts and never wanted to see them or (3) they were never really mentioned. I imagine a big scolding from both my parents and my face flooded in tears. I groaned and grabbed my pillow from behind my head and brought it to my face to scream into it, lowering and limiting the volume. I was satisfied… for a bit.

I walked to the school gate and found Jung kook leaning onto the bricked fence. I stopped my tracks and couldn’t help but smile dearly from ear to ear. He spotted me and he did the same – smiled from ear to ear. I ran toward him and I jumped a tiny bit as my arms went around his neck, as he encircled my waist and spun me 360. As he put me down, I took a glance over his shoulder and saw a few girls look at me and rather grimaced. He noticed.

“Don’t worry about them jagiya.” I smiled and nodded. I continued my way into school until Jung kook grabbed my arm. I looked at him questioningly.

“You have to wait for me… are you that excited for school?”

“Ne?” He lowered his grasp until his hand fit into mine and intertwined his fingers. He took initiative in walking into school first and practically dragged me along with him.

“Dae Eun-ah!” I heard Jung Ah’s voice cry out. I turned to overlook (whilst holding Jung kook’s hand) the crowd in order to spot her, but at this rate, I was practically playing a Where’s Waldo game.
