[CONTENTID1]Are you hurt?[/CONTENTID1]

[CONTENTID2]Yes[/CONTENTID2]

[CONTENTID3]“Dae Eun-ah!”

Jung Ah, once again, contained her in her arms, squeezing slightly – giving her a bear hug. Dae Eun only replied by wrapping her arms around Jung Ah and place her forehead on her shoulder. Jung Ah noticed her sudden movement which caused her to change her mood. Dae Eun hadn’t ever hugged her back, nor have her head lean on her shoulder for any reason. Both figures stood in the middle of the airport lobby within each other’s arms as Dae Eun sulked silently whilst leaning on her friend’s shoulder.

“Yah. What’s wrong? Are you feeling sick?”

“Yes.”

“Why? Are you hurt?”

“Yes.”

“W…what’s wrong? Is this the mood were going to have when we go home?”

“I… I…”

“Where’s Jung kook?”

“He…He… He took an earlier flight.”

“Why? Dae Eun-ah. What’s wrong?” Jung Ah pushed Dae Eun slightly just so she could see her in front of her face as she observed her dull expression.

“Jung Ah…”

“What’s wrong? What happened?”

“I want to fast forward time just to see if in the end, it’s worth it.”

“Yah! Just tell me what happened? Did you guys fight?”

“Jung Ah… “

“Don’t tell me…” Jung Ah caught a glimpse of what the current situation may be, and just as that happened, a ray of having the desire to help Dae Eun washed over her like a huge wave. She hugged Dae Eun again, but this time, she tried to make it comforting for what it’s worth. She couldn’t help but put a frown on her face as she groomed Dae Eun’s head, cheering her up the slightest bit, but this was the heart dropping moment where Dae Eun’s tears came to flow.

“It’s okay… It’s okay Dae Eun-ah. Things will get better.”

Dae Eun nodded in Jung Ah’s shoulder and wrapped her arms around her best friend’s waist, crying.

------------------------------------

The flight was a distraction for Dae Eun as she listened to Jung Ah’s adventures before she flew to France. The fact that Jimin and herself were ‘getting along’ and becoming closer in aspect of their friendship was increasing, which made Dae Eun happy. Despite the fact that she lost her own relationship, she couldn’t help but feel content of Jung Ah’s courage.

Luckily Jung Ah was there for Dae Eun. If it weren’t for Jung Ah, what would Dae Eun do? Who would she go to? Who’d help her fix the cracks of her broken bridge? Dae Eun was thankful for the small conversations they had as she smiled even after her current event, but that didn’t stop her from feeling the small heartbreaking moment.

“So, where do you go from here, Dae Eun-ah?”

“I don’t know.”

“You know… when you love someone, you fight for them. No matter what the odds are. A change in your attitude and your actions can make a difference. If you don’t do anything… it gets worst at night.”

“You make it sound like you’ve been through this before, Jung Ah.”

“I just like reading romantic scriptures. Let alone me actually experiencing them myself… I’ve been meaning to ask… do you know why Jung kook... ‘did what he did?’”

“…No. He just said, he had to leave me.”

“But… he didn’t want to.”

“What makes you say that?”

“You said that he said, he had to leave you.”

Dae Eun turned her head to Jung Ah intrigued, almost as if she had a clairvoyant gift to her character. But Dae Eun’s ray of hope wasn’t any larger than her in denial manner.

“I don’t know… maybe it was a use of words just so he didn’t have to make it any less heartbreaking than any other break ups.” Dae Eun theorized.

“But… Jung kook wouldn’t do that. I can see the click between you two. And even though I don’t know him as much as you do, I know he wouldn’t just say he had to leave you just so you weren’t ultimately heartbroken more than you already are.”

Dae Eun gulped before looking down at her hands as she fiddled with her fingers.

“So… what… are you… trying to say?”

“I’m not… a hundred percent sure on the reason, but I’m sure Jung kook didn’t want to do what he had to do. If only I was psychic.” Jung Ah sighed as she sank back into her seat, closing her eyes and laying her head onto Dae Eun’s shoulders before drifting off soundlessly asleep.

“Are you really going to go to sleep after having a small epiphany?”

“We’ll discuss it later and I’ll give Jung kook a beating when I see him.” Jung Ah declared.

------------------------------------

“My pretty daughter! Welcome back home!” Dae Eun’s mother engulfed her into a hug, smiling as if she had just won the lottery. She cuddled Dae Eun as she cradled her whilst standing, swaying from side to side for a period of time which felt like forever.

“How was France?! Did you like the car your dad bought you and Jung kook?”

The thought of ‘her and Jung kook’ stumbled across her mind as her chest emptied for a second, aching her heart. For a moment, she felt like she was going to burst, but the thought of crying for an emotional deviation seemed overwhelming for Dae Eun since she just came back home. She just smiled and nodded before her mother went to hug Jung Ah who was standing beside Dae Eun.

“I’d like to hear all about your trip Dae Eun-ah… in detail!” Dae Eun’s mother anticipated, and a thought popped through Dae Eun’s mind as she acknowledged that she should just tell h

Chapter 50: done finally ㅠ ㅠ usually I'll comment on each chapter but this story is so beautiful and addictive I kept clicking the next button. in chapter 49, i thought daeun gonna end up with changjo I was ready to bawl my eyes out and I was thinking to be mad at you but thankfully happy ending is the one you choose. I'm so happy that this story ends beautifully and nostalgicly(?). anyway, I love how you create a character like daeun, witty and innocent at the same time. and for kookie, he's adorable and such a boyfriend material. tbh, it will great if you can make a bonus chapter for jungah and jimin, istg they are so cute. lastly, wonderful story author him! Iwish this story will have a yellow star!
