No one is home is no different from both are home. Silence dominates the house, magnifying the ticking of the clock.

It has been days since I last uttered a word to him. And slowly, we're both getting used to this set up. Living like he's alone here, living like I'm alone too. We're falling apart.

I was somehow delighted when my phone rang with jagi on display.

I looked at Sulli with confused eyes, in which she answered, "Answer it."

And I did as I was told. I was expecting to hear my husband's voice that I missed so much, but no.

"O-okay." I said before hanging up.

Sulli stared at me, waiting for me to speak.

It wasn't Kai. It was his friend, asking me to come over and take my husband home.

They couldn't stop him from drinking so they called me before he pass out.

"That Dongin's acting too much." Sulli commented while driving.

Since I have no car yet, she offered to come with me and drive us home.

I was surprised when we arrived to the address his friend sent. The bar was in an alley, and not the type we usually go to. It wasn't decent.

"People here are wild." Sulli held my arm when we came in.

We were greeted by smoke, and loud music.

I heard Sulli mumble an 'eww' when we crossed the floor.

My eyes were eagerly searching for him, in this dark place.

I stopped on my tracks when I spotted him, drinking and chatting with some girls, while one guy pulls him.

He was smiling, with sleepy eyes. He's totally drunk. Whispering so close with the girls, not minding where their hands go.

"YA! Unnie!" Sulli exclaimed as she saw the scene.

I couldn't move.

Sulli shook my body and pulled me to walk, but I can't.

She sighed and left me. She walked her way to Kai, pushing every girl around him. "He is married!"

Tears were swelling up.

All I can do is cry.

Thump thump thump.

My heart is running wild like how it did when I was sixteen, but it was for a whole different reason.

Sulli smacked his head, frowning and dragged him out.

I followed them.

"Ya! Unnie! You can't just stand there and do nothing! Why do you let people do this to you?!" She said, pushing Kai in the backseat.

"You. You have to be strong sometimes!" She said banging her car's door.

"People will hurt you when you always act like that."

We both got in.

I feel so small.

A dongsaeng, who's taller than me, just did it. Why can't I do it? Why do I always cry?

"Unnie, aunt and I won't be with you forever." She said when she calmed down.

"I know. I'm sorry." I said, looking out.

"Promise me. Promise me you won't let anyone hurt you or take advantage of you. Don't be quiet and let them disrespect you. Promise me unnie, promise me you'll try to fight for yourself."

I nodded.

"Promise me, unnie."

I looked at her, it's the first time I saw Sulli serious. In our college days, I never saw her get serious even with our finals.

"I promise I'll stand up for myself."

"That's a promise, I'm going to hate you forever if you don't."

I nodded.

Kai was groaning at the back, he was asleep.

I looked at him and sighed. The scene I saw earlier kept repeating.

"Are you sure you can?" Sulli asked as she helped me get Kai out of her car.

"Yeah, you should get going, I can limp our way to the elevator."

Unlike Sul, I had a hard time carrying him.

Sulli was tall and a bit bigger than me, so she dragged Kai like he was just dummy.

But I successfully took him to our room, and literally threw him on the bed.

I caught my breath for a moment then loosened up his clothes.

"Good thing it's friday." I mumbled as I took his shoes off.

The next morning, I did what I usually do.

I cooked breakfast but, for me, ALONE.

I ate then cleaned up.

I sat on the couch, and turned the tv on.

I stayed for a few hours then called Sulli.

"I'm going biking right now. You can come, if you like." She said.

And without thinking twice, I rushed to change my clothes and head off to mom's place.

My bike is still there, I've forgotten to bring it here when I moved.

Mom was surprised when she heard the door close. "I thought it was a thief! My god, honey. What brings you here?"

"I miss you." I smiled and hugged her.

She sighed, "Really? I think you need something." She chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm going biking. But, I really missed you!"

"Oh well, I missed you too darling."

I took out the keys from the box near the door.

"You're going alone? Where's Kai?"

"I'm with Sulli. He's probably still asleep. I shoud go, umma. Sulli's going to sass me if I take too long."

"Oh yeah, go darling. Love you."

I nodded as I went out. "I'll drop by here later, love you!"

I took out the bike from the parking lot, and happened to take the front exit.

I plugged on my earphones, and biked.

I stopped when I saw my window.

I looked up.

This is the place where he asked me to spend forever with him.

I was scared. I don't believe in it. But he swore, he would. He swore forever exists.

He made me believe. He built my faith. But he, himself destroyed it.

Forever? Sigh. Where is it now?

I took a swerve and biked fast.

Letting the wind dry my eyes.

I spotted Sulli drinking water under the tree.

I stopped infront of her.

"What took you so long?" She asked, wiping her forehead.

"I had to stop by mom's place to get this." I tapped my bike. "Let's go!"

"Wait a little bit. Sehun is coming."

"Sehun?" I asked, worried.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Nothing." I smiled.

"Now you can smile?" She joked. "What happened last night?"

"He slept."

"This morning?"

"I didn't see him. He was still asleep when I left."

"What are you going to do? He deserves a good beating." She chuckled.

Just then, Sehun arrived.

"Who deserves a good beating?"

"YOU! You made us wait. What a gentleman." Sulli shouted, furrowing her brows jokingly.

"It's too early for noona's silliness." Sehun said, ignoring Sulli's whines.

"This dongsaeng doesn't really respect me." She smacked Sehun's head.

"Noona!" He said, scratching his head.

"You guys look cute." I said, to make them stop.

"I know I'm cute." Sulli said, preparing her bike.

We chuckled.

We biked for an hour then stopped in the park where we bought snacks.

"Noona, are things alright at home?" Sehun asked.

"Of course!" I answered with a smile.

"Banana milk for unnie! Poison for Sehun." Sulli handed us drinks.

"Thanks." Sehun said, sticking a tongue out to Sulli.

"Waaa." I said as soon as I taste the milk.

My buds are back to normal!

"I'm normal again." I joked.

"Noona, we should make Krystal noona taste what she likes to eat when she was abnormal." Sehun suggested.

"Ya. Ya! I like that. I'm sure you'll throw up unnie."

If only I could hang out with these two all day long, I would. With them I feel a little better.

When the sun was starting to set, I left the two and head off to mom's place.

Mom was cooking dinner when I came.

"You're just in time. Dinner's almost done."

"Good thing!" I said as I sat on my bean bag.

I miss this bean bag. Why didn't I bring this?

I was watching tv when mom called me to eat.

As expected. Mom's cooking is great, it has a comforting feel.

After dinner, mom packed some food for me to take.

"Isn't Kai going to pick you up?"

"I told him not to. He's probaby tired." I couldn't look into mom's eyes when I said that.

She came down with me and flagged a cab.

"Call me when you get home, sweetie!"

I nodded, "Love you, umma."

"I love you too, sweetheart!"
