(EunJi pov)

“Ina! Ina! Wait!” I ran toward her as soon I arrived at school and immediately saw her. She turn around to meet me.

“Wae?”

“Can you help me?”

“Ne..”

“Yesterday I went out with a friend. But can you help me. if anyone ask about if you’re with me or not, can you said that you’re with me yesterday?”

“N-ne.. But.. Who are you with?”

“Huh? Em.. My old friend… Nevermind.. But.. Please~~~” I beg her until she nodded her head. “Thank you~” with that we went to our classroom. We were really happy for the first period because the all the teachers has meeting and now we have free time. All of us just talk with friends and some of them gossiping and even play prank at others. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out and got a text message.

‘EunJi.. Can we meet at the rooftop? Now.’ It’s from ChangJo. Should I go? What if he asked me to explain everything? But I can’t let him wait for me there. I stood up and left the class to the rooftop. I saw ChangJo sat on the bench. He turned around when I pat his shoulder from behind. He motioned to sit next to him. I nervously played with my finger as I sat next to him. I can felt that he’s staring at me. It was an awkward silence between us until I broke it.

“So…. What do you want to say?” I can’t see him so I keep staring at my shoes.

“Mianhae.. I shout at you that day. I was wrong. You’re not at fault. Mianhae.”

“I already forgot about it. It’s already past.”

“But…What happen actually? Why are you just letting the rumour spread like that?”

“It’s true.”

“IT’S NOT TRUE! Why are you doing this?” I kept silent as I felt that my tears threaten to fall down. “EunJi-ah~ Please tell me.”

“You don’t need to know. I think we better act we don’t know each other.” I stood up and about to went away. But ChangJo grab my wrist immediately. I can’t hold it anymore. My tears streamed down my cheek. I tried not to sob.

“EunJi-ah.. I’m sorry if I make you mad. I didn’t mean to blame you. I’m really sorry. I just you to know that’s not your fault.”

“Please let me go.. I don’t want us to meet again. I don’t want to trouble you anymore.” I tried to move his hand from me but I’m weak now as I start to cry. He can’t see it because my back was facing him.

“I’m sorry.” I can’t hide my face anymore as he stood in front of me. “Don’t cry. I was wrong. Please forgive me.” he wipe my tears with his thumb. He really make me confuse right now. Why is he so kind to me?

“LEAVE ME PLEASE!! I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!” I yell at him.

“Mianhae.. I was wrong.”

“Please leave me…” I beg at him as I start to sob.

“Not until you tell me the truth.”

“I DONE IT FOR YOU!! I DON’T WANT JONGHWAN TO BOTHER YOU!! I DON’T WANT YOU TO BREAK UP AGAIN BECAUSE OF ME. So.. Please~ Don’t talk to me again.”

“Why would you do that?” my anger start to raise up.

“I LIKE YOU!! I DON’T WANT TO MEET YOU AGAIN! I’M SCARED THAT I CAN’T HOLD MYSELF IF I KEEP SEE YOU. And you already have Yoomi.” He let go of my hand and this is the chance for me to run away from him. I went down from the rooftop and went to the toilet. I cried out loud as I hold my tears just now. My eyes get red and puffy. How can I enter the classroom with this state. I make my way to the backyard but bumped with ChangJo. I should ran away from him.

“EunJi!” he grab my wrist before I get to run away.

“W-wae?”

“About just now. I-“

“Let her go!” ChangJo word was cut by a guy. I turn and look at the source of the voice. It is Jonghwan.

“Why should I?”

“You’re not his boyfriend anymore.”

“Don’t you dare to disturb her!”

“I will do anything I want. No one dare to block.”

“Stop it!!” I stop both of them from the fight. “ChangJo.. Please let me go.” His grip loosen. Jonghwan grab me and brought me away from ChangJo. He’s bringing me to the place that no students ever go even me.

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“Just now.”

“YA! I don’t mean to save you. It’s just a thanks for yesterday.”

“Anyway thank you.”

“I don’t why you sacrifice yourself for ChangJo. I know you done it for him.”

“What do you mean?”

“Everyone know you like him. But.. I know you won’t threaten him.”

“Why you think like that?”

“Maybe.. You’re kind.”

“Woo~ Jonghwan? Is that really you? I really can’t believe that I can be praise by a gangster.”

“YA!!”

“I know you’re kind too. Maybe we should be friend.”

“Who said I want to be your friend?”

“Just admit that you want to be my friend~~~” I joke around with him. It’s getting more comfortable around him.

“Stop it! My mother want you to eat lunch with us again today.”

“Again? Alright.”

“Then go now. The first period will end.”

“Ne~~~ You?”

“I usually escape this subject.”

“YA!! You have to study! Make sure you enter your class!”

“YA! I’m older than you.” I chuckled at his sight and make my way to my classroom. Something weird with my friends stare. I wonder what happen.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Did you meet ChangJo just now?” Ina asked me.

“Huh? N-no. Wae?”

“Really? He look not in a good mood.” Luna informed me. I felt guilty for a while but it is the best choice for both of us. He won’t involve with me anymore. I won’t mess up his life anymore.

Sorry because i'm didn't update yesterday. Yesterday i went for a day trip and didn't have any wifi there so I'll update today.. Starting from tomorrow, i don't know whether i can update frequently or not. Maybe I'll update but a bit late or maybe no update for a day. I already have a job and maybe will start tomorrow. :) .. Just wait for me.. I'll update even though I have job.
