A soft knocked from the door makes Hyukjae turned to looked at it. There was Leeteuk, standing gracefully while leaning on the door frame. ‘Can I come in?’ Leeteuk asked and Hyukjae nodded. His eyes could saw the trace of tears on that man face, and Leeteuk could see the same at Hyukjae. Leeteuk adjusting the red bow on Hyukjae’s neck, after that he patted his shoulders from imaginary dust. ‘You’re getting married to Siwon in just few minutes. Why are you crying?’ Leeteuk asked, smiled softly but not enough to show the dimple he have on his left cheek.

‘I’m sorry.’ Hyukjae apologized. Even though he didn’t reason out why, Leeteuk could understand. That man shook his head, wiping away the tears that started to form on Hyukjae’s eyes.

‘There’s nothing to be sorry at, sweetheart.’ Leeteuk said. ‘It’s all fated. We can’t go against what have been written for us.’ Leeteuk said and brought Hyukjae to sit with him on the bed. ‘Promise me that you will be happy.’

Hyukjae nodded, trying hard to stop the tears on his eyes. ‘I will. I promise you.’

Leeteuk wanted to say more, he wanted to tell Hyukjae to stop this wedding, because he personally thought that this wedding wasn’t fair to his own son. But his words got swollen inside; he didn’t have the reason to say anything. Hyukjae was agreed to this wedding, Siwon had loved his son in law for almost decade and his own son didn’t do anything to get Hyukjae’s back. What he could pray was for Hyukjae and Siwon’s happiness, and also Kyuhyun’s happiness.

Leeteuk stood up, patting away his wrinkled clothes, an act to not let Hyukjae saw his tears. ‘I will wait for you there.’ He said, smiling and caressed softly Hyukjae’s hair. Leeteuk walked towards the door but to look at Hyukjae for last time. He smiled when Hyukjae was looking at him, then leaving.

‘You’re ready?’ Kangin asked as soon as the time nearer. Hyukjae nodded his head, walking aside Kangin. They linked arm, walking to the aisle, where few guests, which Hyukjae know was Siwon’s important clients, Donghae and the new guy named Hankyung, Leeteuk and few more. Hyukjae’s attention was at the man who was standing in front of the pastor, looking all handsome and smart. He took a glance of the guests once again, when his eyes met with another pair of eyes. The other was wearing mask, making Hyukjae curious. But second later, the man coughed and Hyukjae let his curiousness died like that. ‘He’s so kind, still coming to my wedding even he was in bad shape.’ He thought to himself. But there was something with the guest and Hyukjae couldn’t take his eyes from him. He looked like Kyuhyun to Hyukjae, but this guy hair was auburn. He shook of the thought about Kyuhyun. ‘There’s no way he will come to this wedding.’ He convinced himself. The sudden missing of Kangin’s hand from him brought him back to reality, thus breaking off the stare he had with the mystery guy. Hyukjae was now standing beside Siwon, reciting their vows to each other.     

Kyuhyun fidgeting on his seat, he had chosen a seat which is far from Leeteuk and Donghae, because he didn’t want them to see him breakdown at that moment. They all are still waiting for Hyukjae to come down. Kyuhyun silently prayed that Hyukjae will never come down. He knew he should let go the other, but he just couldn’t. He was wrong when he thought he could.

Hyukjae’s entrance was announced, and there he was, walking gracefully with his father. Kyuhyun was stunned, remembered how beautiful Hyukjae was during their wedding. But the Hyukjae in front of them, in front of him, was someone else. Kyuhyun didn’t know why, but he couldn’t saw the happiness in Hyukjae’s eyes, unlike their time. The eyes were dull, there no shine inside it.

Kyuhyun held himself from jumping in front, taking Hyukjae from his father and run away with him. ‘Don’t Kyuhyun. Stop.’ He warned himself, who was battling inside. ‘You can’t. You have to let him go and happy with Siwon, Kyuhyun.’ He convinced himself.

His eyes locked with Hyukjae, and he was panic when Hyukjae narrowed his eyes, looking suspicious at him. He faked a cough, silently prayed that Hyukjae would thought that he was just a sick guest. He breathe in relieved when he saw Hyukjae trust his little act. But Hyukjae’s eyes never left him, and he just couldn’t take away his eyes from him. Their eyes locked into each other, until Hyukjae broke it because of Kangin sudden disappeared. Kyuhyun tried to block his ears from listening to the vow Hyukjae and Siwon makes, and the marriage was seal after the pastor said so.  

When Siwon’s lips near to Hyukjae’s, he closed his eyes. When everyone cheered because of the kiss, Kyuhyun ran away with tears.
