You told your mom about it. She was mad about it but for the sake of your best friend, you gulped it all and told yourself that maybe your mom will able to accept your choice.

During the preparation of the wedding, your mom didn’t accompany you. It was kyuhyun’s parents who accompanied you. You told them that she’s not feeling alright that’s why she can’t be there for you.

Kyuhyun called you and told you that he’s going to show you something.

You met him on a coffee shop and he’s sitting calmly.

“what is it?” you asked curious on what he’ll show you.

Your eyes flew wide open when you saw the small red velvet box lying lifelessly on the table. “what’s this?” you asked as you sat across him. He smiled and looked at you. “open it and you’ll find out.” Kyuhyun commanded and of course, you followed.

You opened the box and a diamond ring greeted you. “Is it pretty?” Kyuhyun asked.

You blinked a million times thinking that maybe the ring was for you. “It’s so pretty!” you beamed. You’re smiling ear to ear and you’re ready to take it off from its box but kyuhyun’s words made you stop. “It’s for Jaehyun. I called you for help. To ask for a girl’s opinion because I think you have a great sense of choice in everything.” Kyuhyun stated.

You’re thinking whether he praised or insulted you this time. Your hopes are so high when suddenly he washed it away.

“So you called me for that?” you asked trying to hide the bitterness that’s building up on you.

Kyuhyun nodded. “You’re my best friend after all.” He added making you feel like he just slapped you in your face.

Kyuhyun’s phone rang and you saw Jaehyun’s name flashing. “I should go now. There are a lot of things I should do.” You said and stood up. Kyuhyun nodded and answered the call.

You thought that you did a great job as a best friend. So you just smiled so the pain would go away.

During your wedding day, your mom showed up.

“mom!” you saw the person you didn’t expect to see on your wedding day.

She walked towards you and hugged you. “am I late?” she asked. No screaming this time like what happened before. A sweet smile grew on your face.

“no. you’re just in time.” You replied not wanting to cry because you might ruin your make-up.

Your mom broke the hug and looked at you. You’re wearing a very beautiful white wetting gown. Your eyes are sparkling. “you look like a princess.” Your mom praised and you blushed.

The ceremony went on and kyuhyun was beaming.

“Do I really want this?” you thought while walking on the aisle, all eyes on you.

Kyuhyun reached out his hand and you took it. You smiled at him trying to convince yourself that you’ll get out of this crazy adventure alive.

The ceremony ended and you’re now inside the car with kyuhyun.

“ah~~ I got married already.” Kyuhyun said as he looked at the ring on his finger.

You looked at him and saw what he’s up to. “so what now?” you asked not wanting to think about the marriage.

“We should settle our plans for ourselves first before going to the plan for Jaehyun.” Kyuhyun replied and you furrowed your eyebrows.

“plan for ourselves?” you asked digging in for more of what’s he’s planning.

Kyuhyun nodded. “don’t you have plans? Like after we got married what would we do?” kyuhyun asked again and you thought about something.

“hmmmm…. Actually I have.” You said and kyuhyun turned his attention to you. “this.” You said and showed him a paper.

Kyuhyun read what’s on the paper.

1.       We should not last for a year. We should be separated earlier or before our wedding anniversary.

2.       We should not share rooms. We should sleep separately.

3.       We should not go beyond the limits. What’s private is private.

“I planned those the night before the wedding. What you think?” you asked as you studied kyuhyun while he’s reading it.

“this looks bitter but I think it’s good.” Kyuhyun said with a bit of pain in his voice. Kyuhyun grabbed a pen and added something and passed it to you.

“We should not hire drivers and maids because we will get caught.” You read and you smiled. “I agree!” you said and grabbed the pen from kyuhyun’s hands. “ok let’s sign here.” You said and you’re the first one to sign on the lower right corner and kyuhyun signed on the opposite side.

“let’s do this!” kyuhyun cheered and both of you laughed.

You were able to smile because you thought your mom accepted your choice. The contact that you made for the both of you helped you overcome the pain that you’re feeling.

“Let’s make good memories from today onwards.” You whispered to yourself as you look at the scenery beside you.

You and kyuhyun went off to your ‘honeymoon’ in Jeju Island. You were so happy because you’re dying to go fly in jeju but you don’t have the time because your best friend, kyuhyun keeps you busy.

While on the plane, your phone buzzed. You received a congratulation letter from Sena.

“_____-ssi~ congratulations on your wedding! I’m sorry if I didn’t come. I was too busy with my work. I hope that you’ll live a blissful life with Kyuhyun. I’m so happy that both of you ended up together. Who would’ve thought that kyuhyun would really marry you, his girlfriend right? Anyways, call me whenever you need me.

You smiled reading what Sena sent you but your eyes widened up when you read that “who would’ve thought that kyuhyun would really marry you, his girlfriend…” you got more confused on why did she said that wherein the first place she knew that you’re his best friend not his girlfriend.
