Lee kyu won's point of view:

It has been a whole year ever since i left korea. However, it feels like forever. I'm not saying that being in america is bad, it's just that... it doesn't feel like home over there. My house... or should i say my apartment, my room... was empty, and cold. There was no one who welcomed me home, nor yell at me for coming home late. Grandpa would normally ask me to go to sleep and get plenty of rest so i won't get sick. And he would secretly put over a warm blanket on me so i wuold feel warm. Overt there, i didn't have  any proper sleep. So i would occasionally caught a slight cold, which i am quite used to right now.

"Kyu won-ssi... we are about to land"

"hm? woo hyun ah, you were awake this whole time? you didn't get any sleep?"

"I did get some sleep, i just woke up earlier is all..."

No woo hyun. He's my colleague who also got a scholarship to study abroad with me. He has always been a really nice person ever since we've met. Apparently we were scheduled similarly, so we got to meet up often. And now we were both scheduled to return to korea at the same time, only we were destined to different places. As for me, i was scheduled to go to seol. While woo hyun ah was scheduled to go to busan. 

As soon as we both got out from imigration we separated ways. I waved to him and walked my way to the person who's picking me up. And unconcioiusly my suitcase got stuck beween the road pavements. "oh not again" i said, relieving a long sigh.

To my surprise woo hyun helped me to untangled my suitcase."woo hyun ah! i thought you were walking the other way?" i said in confusion. "Well, you kind of dropped your teddy bear when you walked away just now. i know this is quite important to you" he said while laughing "you're just as clumsy as ever kyu won ssi"

Well... it might be slightly untrue that i didn't take care of myself during my stay in new york. To be honest, woo hyun always checked up on me, ever since he knew that i was living alone. "a woman should be careful when they're living alone. especially in a foreign country where you barely know anyone." is what he said to me when we were living in America. I am very gateful to him for that. Without him i might be found dead, from something lack of taking care if myself- or something like that.

"hey, kyu won! kyu won!"

"huh? oh yeah thanks for returning the teddy bear to me!" as i swiped it from his grip. 

"Stop daydreaming already would you? who knows what will happen to you" he said with a long sigh

"You sound liike a mother worrying over letting her child go" i said jokingly

"Well it's more like letting a 'little spoiled, obnoxious, and greedy girl' go" he said teasingly

We both laughed and hitted each other until the drivers were getting impatient and old us to hurry up to leave. So, woo hyun hurriedly ran over to his ride and said his goodbye. It was the same for me as well. As soon as i sat on the car i apologised to the driver for taking my time. He was a nice old man and told me that young people shouldn't worry over such irrelevant things. 

Then as the car drove along, i stared at my teddy whom i've dropped ealier. It was covered in mud, so i wiped the dirt off with my handkerchief. This little teddy bear who bears all my precious memories, my lovely and nostalgic memories of my life as a university student in seol. This little teddy bear who have witnessed all my hardships and sorrows. This little teddy bear who witnessed my tears of pain and joy. This little teddy bear who is an irreplaceable teddy bear, given to me, by my first love, whom i can never forget, even if we are never meant to be together.

*sound of her phone ringing*

"Hello? anyong seo? kang dung nim? hello! it's been a while! yes! yes... america was great... and... no, i don't think i have anything scheduled for me for this next 6 months.. no... i think i can! yes! i am looking forward fro the audition! yes! thank you for this opportunity! i will see you then!" *closes her phone*

"ho ho ho... it seems like you just got a job for you in the first 10 minutes you came out of the airport?"

"um! it is very thrilling indeed sir! hahahaha"

"oh i do wish you luck miss. It is a tough merciless world out there. They wouldn't leave you for a moment to catch your breath and rest!"

"oh you're telling me... don't worry, i think i can handle it"

"yes... that's how youngster these days should behave" said that old driver while nodding his head.

All the way to the hotel i talked cheerfully with this old driver. He is a very nice person to talk to. And i am very grateful to have him as my driver.

"okay then little miss. Here we are."

"thank you very much sir" and then i noticed before i went in that he got a phone call. It seems like he got a phone call from the bank, since they were talking about debt. And i saw in the look of his face that he was quite worried. out of kindness i walked up to him and asked if anything was wrong. he told me that it's okay, and it is his own business. However, he looked like he was really tired and exhausted. And next to his driving seat i noticed opened packs of anti-sleeping pills.

"um.... mister, have you been sleeping recently?" i asked worriedly.

he confessed that he has been working 24/7 recently because has has been getting few customers lately. And he needs to get more customers to earn enough money to pay off the debt and feed his family at the same time.However, he hasn't got any luck lately, because he lacked customers. Then i called my manager and told that old driver to wait. I asked him whether i already got myself a personal driver yet. Fortunately, he said he was only on his way to hire one. The i put my phone on loudspeaker and talked on the top of my voice.

"No worries sir. I think i have found my personal driver" 

"kyu won, are you sure you can trust this driver you just met?"

"i do. And i am already comfortable with him and his driving"

"....... very well. i trust you. just tell him to go to this address to get his uniform and contract"

"thank you sir!"

"no problem" *phone closes*

This old man who looked like that he got the wish of his life thanked me for giving him a permanent job. 

*AT THE SAME TIME*

"Hey i have a favour to ask you... do you want to compose the song for my newest play?"

"...."

"ya! lee shin! didn't your mother ever tell you to answer back when a person is asking?"

"Why me?"

"Why not?"

"because  i know... you're just meddling in other people's private life"

"hey, stop assuming things... *sighs* anyway, just incase if you change your mind *gives him the script* take a look at it will ya?"

"......."
