Chapter XIX: The Making Ready

It was almost five when the three finished everything; they already set the dinner place, the food they are just waiting for the couple’s date.

“You did a great job Krystal!” Sooyoung clapped her hands while they’re resting in the living room.

“Congratulations to us too! Here..” Jessica said as she gave the two glasses of juice to Krystal and Sooyoung.

“Thanks unnie.. So while we are waiting for them, may I ask the two of you?” Krystal looked at them while sipping her juice.

“Huh? Us? Why?” Sooyoung asked as she also takes a sip.

“Sure, what is it?” Jessica answered as she finds her seat.

“Awhile ago, while preparing everything, just an observation. The way the both of you worked seems coordinated as plan, so have you two discussed this preparation behind our backs especially for the two?”

“Well, like you said. Yes.” Jessica simply answered as she gaze her direction to Sooyoung, “Right Sooyoung?”

“Ah, your basis of observation is right Krystal. Well, we didn’t intentionally hide it from them because we also talk over it to them, independently. In fact, almost all the preparation was their plans; we just add some modifications and made it coordinated with each other just to end it up perfectly, to avoid mess.” Sooyoung explained.

“I see.. But do the couple knew that you two had a conversation with each other about this?” Krystal asked again.

“Aish.. What is the use of the word surprise if they will find it out?” Jessica rolled her eyes while munching some sandwich.

“I guess you’re right unnie. So how the two of you become this close? I mean, you already met each other during the dinner, how it all happen?” Krystal asked again.

“I thought I already answered it Krystal, you already asked it awhile ago right? When I came here.” Sooyoung answered it while getting another sandwich.

“Did I Sooyoung unnie? But you didn’t explain it to me.” Krystal whined.

“Aish.. Stop whining Krystal and why you have so many questions by the way? Are you a detective?” Jessica sarcastically asked. “Anyways, Sooyoung we have to go and get the couple remember?” Jessica changed the topic.

“Oh yes! It’s already five thirty. I told Taeyeon that I’m gonna fetch her by five.” Sooyoung stood up while looking at her wristwatch.

“Huh? Why? I thought we will wait for them.” Krystal asked again.

“Only you Krystal. Anyways, please wear the clothes that I told you and please prepare Tiffany’s dress in their room.” Jessica ordered.

“Huh? Why only me? I thought we gonna wear it. Krystal was getting out of place.

“Of course Krystal, but me and your sister gonna fetch the couple first.” Sooyoung explained.

“So it’s still part of the plan unnie? Both of you will be together in fetching them? But their offices were very far away with each other.” Krystal asked.

“Aigoo.. Of course not! I’m gonna ask Tiffany’s assigned driver for me, remember? So prepare yourself and told also the house workers to be ready. Don’t forget to switch off all the lights, Wait for my text or call.” Jessica answered.

“Alright.. I get it.. So good luck to us. Hwaiting!” Krystal said as she wave goodbye to them.

SooTae’s Office.

“Why she is taking so long? I thought, she gonna fetch me by five.” Taeyeon kept on walking back and forth in their office room. “I’m getting nervous here, it’s already quarter to six. She texted me that she is on her way.” As she looks at her phone when she heard a knock.
