(Simon POV) 

 

While I was driving back, memories of the time that I had spent with Yuri was playing in my mind. From the moment that I nearly crashed into her with my car to the moment that we had our first unplanned kiss to the moment that we had that boring dinner till the very moment that I confessed to her. In the end, I got to know that she already is taken by the luckiest guy on Earth. And I didn't expect him to be Daniel, my bandmate. He is, truly the most luckiest guy on this planet to be having such a wonderful and beautiful girl right beside him. And I know and I trust him that he will definitely treat her right and love her with all his heart. 

 

Simon, you're doing the right thing now. If you truly love her, you would definitely want to see her smile, don't you? Therefore the person who can make her smile is none other than Daniel. You're doing the right thing Simon. You should let her go. Sacrifice your love just to see her happy, yes. That's the way. Eventhough how torn up you are inside, eventhough how much pain you're feeling in your heart, you still want to see her happy don't you? 

 

I then took out my phone and texted Daniel to inform him something.

(Daniel POV) 

 

The next morning, I was already sitting next to the bed that Yuri was laying on. Fortunately and thank God, she has gained conscious. And also thanks to Simon hyung. I don't know why but the first thing that Yuri said when she woke up earlier on was, "Simon." Till now, all that she asked for was to meet up with Simon hyung. 

 

After nearly an hour of hearing her call for Simon hyung, I gave up. Why is she even looking for him? Isn't she happy and delighted to see me instead? Those were the thoughts that ran past my mind. But, since I wanted to make her happy, I didn't cause trouble in the ward. Also because I don't want Yuri to feel sad or angry, so I just kept my thoughts to myself. In the end, I gave up. I couldn't handle it anymore. I helped Yuri up from her bed and assist her to the carpark. Yes, we snuck out. It was hard, but I guess luck was on our side. 

 

I drove Yuri to the place where she'll get to meet Simon hyung, the airport.

(Simon's POV) 

 

Everything's settled. Flight ticket, settling of my contract with Monkey Funch and calling my family back home in Japan. Yes, I've already informed them that I'm returning home. The reason that I gave them was to pursue my education in university, which I would be doing too once I step back in Japan. But the actual reason for my departure was to avoid and leave Yuri so that she'll lead a happy and delightful life together with Daniel and I definitely don't wanna be the third party, especially to my own bandmate! That's just cruel. They say, revenge is sweet but karma's a . You don't know when karma's gonna strike you back and when it strikes you back, you're gonna beg for defeat, definitely!

 

Just a few more seconds till I can enter the boarding gate. 

 

Once the boarding gate opened, I was the first few people to line up. Once it reached my turn, I handed over my passport and boarding pass. Once everything was settled, I slowly made my way through. Just as I was about to step through, someone called out my name. 

 

"Simon!" Someone with a very familiar voice. 

 

I slowly turned around, hoping to expect who I'm expecting it to be. God answered my prayers, I finally get to see Yuri for the last time! 

 

"Yuri? You're awake?!" I exclaimed as I ran towards her. She had her arms hooked around Daniel, who was aiding her in walking. 

 

"Simon, please... Don't go... Don't leave me..." The moment she said those words, I immediately looked at Daniel. His eyes was teary and around his eyes, tears was still visible. It looked like as if he just finished crying. Daniel didn't look at me though, he just stared at the ground.  I guess he found out about what happened, huh? 

 

"Yuri... Shh..." I tried to console Yuri, who was about to cry too.

 

"Don't leave me..." Her voice barely audible. 

 

"As much as I don't wanna leave you but I've got to go. I'm sorry but I just don't wanna be the trouble here for the two of you. The two of you are meant for each other! The two of you are fated to be together!" I said cheerfully, trying to enlighten the tense and saddening atmosphere. 

 

"Please..." Was all that Yuri could whisper out. 

 

If I had a second chance, I would definitely stay here with her. I love her, I really do! But God does not permits it, I guess we're not meant for each other! Why? Because she already has a boyfriend and her boyfriend really loves her! I don't wanna be the relationship-ruiner! 

 

"We're just not meant to be, Yuri..." I said beneath my breath. 

 

Tears escaped from Yuri's eyes. That, made me even more hard to leave her. But, I know that I should leave. For Daniel. And also for Yuri's sake. Daniel and Yuri are meant to be and they'll always be. 

 

I approached Yuri even closer, "Dude, may I?" I asked Daniel. 

 

Daniel just nodded his head solemnly and replied with a weak smile. 

 

I cupped Yuri's cheeks with both my hands as I leaned in slowly to kiss her forehead. I then gave her a goodbye hug. Being able to hug her, even for a short twenty seconds, made me happier as I was able to be in her embrace for a while. Her hair smelt so nice, her touch felt so right, everything about her was just, perfect. Daniel, is indeed a very lucky guy and I'm sure that he is aware of what luck he's got. He's got such a sweet, caring and one of a kind girl. Definitely, he'll treasure it and cherish every moment with her. 

 

"This is goodbye." I whispered as I studied her beautiful face for probably the last time. 

 

"Take care, hyung. Thanks, once again." Daniel said under his breath. 

 

I gave them a warm smile before heading back into the boarding gate. Before passing through the gate, I turned around for the last time to look at her. She was waving her hand at me as the tears were flowing down her cheeks. My eyes were already stinging with tears by the sight of her crying but still, I had to go. I must go. I must leave them.

 

"Goodbye Yuri... I'll always remember you... Take care..." I whispered.

 

(Your POV) 

 

You watched as Simon walked away. Once he was out of sight, Daniel cleared his throat. 

 

"We should go now." 

 

You just nodded your head and wiped the tears away from your eyes. Daniel gently took your arm and hung it around his shoulder and he hold on to your waist with his other hand, in order to aid you with the walking since you weren't feeling quite strong and healthy yet. 

 

Daniel helped to get you in his car as he too went in and started the engine. As he was driving you back to the hospital, you couldn't help but to stare and look at the sky. When you saw an airplane flying above in the sky, you couldn't help but to think of Simon even more. 

 

"Take care... I'll always remember you, Simon..." You whispered.
