SOOHYUN'S POV

You re-read the note numerous times, allowing its words to sink into your brain. However, it didn't take long for you to escape out f your distraught state. You lunged at the phone and punched in your grandmother's number. You impatiently waited for her to answer, seeing that you were very worried.

*It's only 1 in the morning, she might be awake right? I hope she is.*

(phone convo)

Grandma: Hello?

You: Grandma? Are you okay?

Grandma: O? Soohyun! How are you?

You: I'm fine. But are you okay?

Grandma: Why do you ask so suddenly?

You: Are you?

Grandma: Well of course honey.

You: Thank God.

Grandma: Is everything okay? Did something happen?

You: Its nothing. Do you mind if I visit tomorrow?

Grandma: I'm going to be out with my friend's house tomorrow to help her pick some vegetables.

You: Can I come sometime this week?

Grandma: I think I might be busy with the kimchi business since I got large amounts of orders so not this week honey.

You: Then when? 

Grandma: I'll call you when I'm free. This grandma has plans too. 

You: Alright

You hung up the phone and let out a deep breathe. Even though your grandmother said that she was okay, it seemed as if she was hiding something. However, you decided to trust her and pushed the thought into the back of your head. 

*Now what do I have to take care of?*

You glanced back at the letter and saw the sentence regarding money. You raced towards your computer and logged into your online bank account. You checked to see your account balance and your face fell at the numbers. You currently had around $14,000 and this was he money you saved up ever since you were a little girl. You were planning to use this money for college as well as school related activities.

*I guess I can't go to the MT trip . . . *

You sighed at the thought and placed your head into your hands. 

*How can I make $50,000 in a month? I'm never going to call that number. I'd rather get two . . . no three other jobs. Just wait till I find who this man is. . . I'd personally kill him with my own hands.*

After going through each portion of the letter, you stuffed it deep inside the jacket pocket and got on your knees to clean the mess on the floor. Picking up each piece of the broken flower vase, you couldn't help but contemplate what you were going to do with your life. You thought about your goals, what you wanted to do when you were older. After cleaning up your house, by that every single room, you looked up at the clock and saw that it was already 7:21 A.M.

*I've never cleaned for so long. And Kai's picking me up for dance practice. Aigoo maybe I'll get no sleep either.*

You didn't want to fall asleep, because you were a very deep sleeper. You were afraid that you'd miss Kai's calls/texts so you tried staying up. You turned the T.V. on to keep you company and grabbed some coffee from the kitchen. One hour passed and then two. You tried your best to keep awake, but even with your efforts, you managed to doze off. 

A couple hours later . . . 

You rubbed your eyes open and let out a big yawn. 

*Ughh why is it so dark? I better open the curtains.* 

You sauntered over to your window and pushed the curtains open. You were expecting a warm ray of sunshine to hit you, however nothing happened.

"Eh?" you said opening your eyes. 

You stared out of your window with your mouth gaped open. It was pitch black outside and the street lights flickered on and off. You then looked at your clock and saw that the time was already past 8.

*I'm late*

"CRAP I'M LATE!" you yelled. 

You quickly checked your phone to see if Kai had contacted you.

You read the first recent text on your phone . . . 

7:14 PM: Soohyun Hey, I'm waiting at XXXXXXXXXX. I know that you'll show up so I'll be waiting ~ 

You hurriedly gathered all your stuff and stuffed them inside an athletic bag. You slipped on a hoodie and ran to the place that Kai had told you where the practice studio was. By the time you reached the place, you were already out of breath. Regardless, you climbed up the stairs with everything you had.

*He probably left . . . I'm such a horrible person . . . *

You pushed open the door to the studio and scanned the room. In the corner of the dance practice room, Kai was sitting down with headphones on his ears. He was sleeping peacefully and had a serene look on his face.

*He really did wait for me*

That really touched you seeing that you were late by around 5 hours. You quietly tip-toed to where he was and squat down in front of him. 

*He kinda looks like a child* you thought giggling to yourself. *Should I wake him up?*

After contemplating for a couple of minutes you out-stretched a finger and slowly advanced it towards Kai's cheek. You poked it a couple of times and you laughed at his reactions. You were about to poke his cheek once more, however Kai's hand grabbed yours. 

"Having fun there?" he asked opening up his eyes.

Flustered, you fell backwards onto your . However, you immediately stood up and bowed 90 degrees.

"I'm so sorry for arriving late. I slept really late doing something and I . . ." you started to say.

Before you could finish, Kai put his finger against your lip as if hushing you to be quiet. 

"I know you're not the type of person who would ditch another. You probably had your reasons right?" he said with a smile.

You nodded up and down keeping your eyes glued onto the floor. 

"Don't feel too discouraged neh?" Kai said.

You looked up and gave him a warm smile. He nodded back and left to set up the music. Along with the music, he set up a camcorder in the center of the room. 

"What's that for?" you asked. 

"It's to record our progress. We do want to get better don't we?" he said in a joking manner. 

"Yes, yes we do," you replied back. 

After he set everything up, he taught you some basic moves of the dance that you were going to learn. 

"I chose three songs that we're going to do. The music is a compilation of all of them so our dance is going to be around 3 minutes max." Kai said.

"Alright," you replied.

He opened up his laptop and showed you the videos that you were going to learn the steps to.

"Before we start practicing how about we go over everything?" you proposed.

"That sounds like an excellent idea," Kai said putting his laptop aside.

"I was thinking we start off with phoenix wearing masks. (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51RtQbDs-WL.jpg) and black hoodies with black sweats. They won't know that I'm a girl yet. During two moons we'll take off the hoodie and sweats into something fancy like those k-pop stars wear. Then the finale for my boy, we take off our outfits and I'll be wearing shorts and maybe a v neck but with a masquerade mask. You'll wear a jersey or a tank with khakis. Obviously you'll have a mask too." you said.

"That is an amazing idea. We can get some back up dancers to dance while we're changing after the second dance." Kai said.

"Where are we going to get back up dancers?" you asked.

"I already have that covered." Kai said.

You trusted him and continued on studying the videos he had showed you. 

"Alright let's do this." you said clapping your hands. 

Both of you got up on your feet and began to learn the moves to the dance. Kai impressed you once more with his ability to learn the moves at a fast pace. Many steps stumped you, however Kai helped you along the way.

"Is this how you do it?" you asked a little confused.

"Here," he said coming from behind. 

He grabbed your hands and moved them along with the song. His stomach was pressed against your back as if giving you a "half- backhug." You blushed a little, however quickly got over it. You were able to learn phoenix in one day and Kai decided to end the session from there. You sat down on the floor, sweating and panting from the intense dance practice session. Kai joined your side and gulped down half a bottle of water in an instant. 

"Here," he said passing you the bottle.

*Isn't this what you call an indirect kiss? Omo-nah what am I thinking?*

You quickly took the bottle and drank the water. 

"Ahh I'm starving," Kai said looking at you.

"Did you eat before I came?" you asked.

"Noope. I was waiting for you to come. I didn't want to miss you if you did." Kai said putting on a cheeky smile.

You felt really guilty at his words and you diverted your eyes onto the floor. 

"I'm sorry," you said biting onto your lip. 

"Let's go out to eat," Kai brought up. 

"This time I'll buy. I'll change and come back okay?" you said.

"Alright," Kai said smiling at you. 

You quickly left the room to change into something else. 

KAI'S POV

While you were waiting for Soohyun to change, you played back the video of the dance practice. Even though you were meant to watch the progress that the two of you had made, your eyes eventually landed on Soohyun. She danced with enthusiasm and it impressed you seeing that she didn't have any extra practice. You couldn't help but smile at the way Soohyun's steps flowed perfectly with yours.

"Let's go!" Soohyun said emerging from the bathroom. 

You quickly turned off the camcorder and turned around to face her. She was wearing black pants, black converse, and a  white v neck with a blue sleeveless hoodie. Her hair was tied up into a messy bun. 

"Let me carry this for you since it's heavier than mine," you said grabbing her bag.

"Thank you. Then I'll carry your bag since it's lighter than mine," Soohyun said.

You opened your mouth to protest, but knowing Soohyun's personality, you knew that she would continue to offer to hold your bag. You walked outside and the streets of Seoul were extremely busy. The studio was located in Myeongdong, so the areas around it were very busy when it became night time.

"I know this really good ramen place here," Soohyun said.

"Then you shall lead me to it," you said escorting her in a joking manner.

The two of you reached a busy street crossing that was full of people. As you began to walk, Soohyun was constantly being pushed by the surrounding people, and had an uncomfortable look on her face. Not wanting to loose this chance, you grabbed onto her hand and pulled her closed to your side. You put your left arm around her shoulder to prevent her from getting lost. 

"Is this better?" you asked.

She nodded her head and proceeded to walk forward. 

SOOHYUN'S POV

You lead Kai to a place called "Delightful Noodle" and stepped inside. You ordered two bowls of ramen and patiently waited for your order to come.

"Are you sure this is a good place?" Kai said in a teasing tone.

"I'm positive," you replied.

"Well I'll be the judge of that," Kai replied.

When your food came out, you stared at Kai, waiting for him to take his first bite. Once he did, he looked up at you with an unchanged expression. 

"So?" you asked anticipating his answer.

"It's horrible," Kai said scowling.

Your smile turned into a frown and you couldn't help but be disappointed. 

"I'm kidding! This is actually reeeeeally good," Kai said giving you a thumbs up. 

"REALLY?" you said as your smile returned to your face.

"Yes really. Now eat up or your noodles are going to get cold." Kai said pinching your cheeks. 

While you and Kai were having the time of your lives, a cold menacing stare looked your way.

"What they hell is that doing with my boyfriend." Taeyeon said.

"Unni, you're so much prettier and ier than that ." Krystal said.

"So much prettier," Jessica said.

"I already know," Taeyeon snapped.

"Soohyun is such a . Taking another girl's man. That's the definition of RUDE."Jessica stated.

"So rude," Krystal said.

"Stop repeating each other. Ughh I don't even know why I hang out with you idiotic sisters." Taeyeon said. 

"Why do we hang out with each other?" Krystal asked Jessica.

"I think it's because we're sisters." Jessica suggested.

"You are so smart." Krystal said gawking at her sister's "intelligence".

Taeyeon face-palmed and shook her head. 

*Park Soohyun. . . You think you can take my man? What a stupid decision. Now there is no choice but to deal with my wrath.*

Sorry I've been away and lazy with the updating >< I promise to update more!!! I just need to get the ideas flowing into my brain harhar

Soooo yesterday I had the most fml moment of my life T-T. I finally convinced my mom (after hours of convincing) to let me go to the 2ne1 concert in NJ, since 2ne1 is coming to the state that I live in. She said yes and then handed over her credit card to me. I was literally jumping with joy and I had the biggest fan girl attack in my entire life. (I am a HUGEEE fan of 2ne1 like a major fan).

My mom then asked when the concert was since she was still a bit unsure. I told her the date and then she took back the credit card that she had given me. She then proceeds to say and I quote . . . 

"You come back from Korea on August 21st. I changed the date last week so it could match your grandmother's flight since you're coming together. I guess you can't go . . . "

END 

I might upload another chapter before I go to Korea (July 10) MAYBE. But there's a chance I might be busy D: We'll see what happens harhar (:
