For the rest of the month before the next evaluation, Jennie spent her days practicing on her vocals, planning her time to split between rap and vocal. Moon Sua decided to work more on her rap so they had to split up during training when Jennie consulted YG's vocal coach.

One day, when Jennie was about to knock on the recording studio where the vocal coach is in, she heard voices from inside.

"How was it, Yumi sunbae?" Jennie recognized it as Jinwoo.

"You improved a lot Jinwoo. But you still need to improve your control of your voice and stability. There are other flaws I can say but work on this first." Shin Yu Mi, the vocal trainer of YG commented.

"I will. Thanks, Yumi sunbae." Jinwoo stood up and bowed respectfully before leaving and coincidentally saw Jennie right outside.

"Oh hello," Jennie said dumbly.

"Jennie-ssi, you're here to consult Yumi sunbae too?" Jinwoo asked.

"Yeah." Jennie nodded.

"You're hard-working." Jinwoo smiled at her before leaving.

"You too," Jennie whispered but went unheard by the boy.
