Grandparent’s Villa – Gangnam

City of Seoul – Gyeonggi Province

I was called for the formal event they have for the night. I don’t know anything about what’s there or what is it about.

The stylist unnie that guided me last time came again and did the same orientation. But this time was the first time I see myself this luxurious and as I was a total different person!

“Wooah..” I said as I opened my eyes, after they finished making-up me while I was resting at the chair head-rest.

“You look really beautiful Miss Kim.” She told me.

I was really speechless.

The butler came in to call for me..

“Miss Kim did you finishe-” but she paused there.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her, as I stood up to see her.

“Y-You look Beautiful Miss.”

“Thank you~” I was shy.

“Let’s go now, the guests began to come now.”

While walking toward the hall they’re located at..

“What’s this about?”

“It’s your grandfather birthday.”

“W-What?” I was surprised “why did no one tell me?”

“We thought that you knew.”

“I didn’t bring any gift! I really didn’t know..” I was ashamed.

“Here is your gift.” That gentle man showed up.

“What is this?”

“The Madam knew that you don’t know, and prepared one in advance.”

“Grandma?”

“Yes.”

“Thank you Ajusshi.”

“Anytime Miss.”

I took the gift and continued my way..

“wait..” I told her as we were just in front of the hall door.

“what’s wrong?”

“if it’s my grandpa birthday, then all the family members are here right?”

“that’s right.”

“I’m not ready yet..” I was nervous “..what if they didn’t like me?”

“Miss Kim. Don’t worry I’ll be by your side and tell you everything about everyone. And Shin’s family all of them are nice people with white heart, so there’s no reason for you to be nervous about them. If you felt uncomfortable, tell me and we’ll excuse first then.”

I took a deep breath..“everything will be alright~” I told myself.

“Let’s go then?”

“Wait for a moment I need to send a message first.”

I took my phone and sent Jiyong a message..

‘Where are you?’

‘On my way.’

‘Okay, drive safely.’

“Let’s go~” I told her after getting ready.

I entered the hall they were holding the party at..

It was full of people! As if I was entering Cinderella movie. The people wearing all formal and luxurious outfits, Talking and drinking with each other.

I entered from the stairs that get you down toward the hall that’s filled with the guests..

Totally as Cinderella story! They all gave me their attention, and started to put a shocked look on their face. I didn’t know if that were because I’m SNSD Taeyeon, or because something else.

“You look gorgeous little girl~” my grandpa came and took my hand at the end of the stairs.

I hugged him “Happy birthday grandpa~” and ended the hug with a peck on his cheek.

“Ahh~ now I’m really glad that I’m born.” Again my dramatic Jiyong’s twin grandpa reacted.

I just chuckled and chained my hand with his.

While looking around..

All the guests looked shocked as they see me.

“Darling you’re stunning tonight~” my grandma approached us.

“Thank you grandma.” I got shy.

“Honey, you’re so beautiful~” My mother's cousin that I met last time told me.

“Thank you Aunt.”

“You’re startled with all these people aren’t you?”

I nodded.

“They’re our family. Your mother cousins and their children.”

“Let me introduce you to them now..” my grandpa came and took my hand again.

He took the microphone..

The spotlight spotted at us.. “Ladies and gentlemen..” he addressed the guests.

“I want to introduce someone precious to you tonight..” he took me closer to him “This is Kim Taeyeon.. My Granddaughter.”

Everyone stunned at their place.

“G-Granddaughter?”

“How?”

Some asked.

“She’s Miyoung’s daughter.”

“Miyoung?”

“Miyoung had a daughter?”

“Why didn’t she showed up before?”

“Something came up and things went that way. But we met her at the end.” He told them.

“Isn’t this SNSD Taeyeon?” one of the youngsters asked.

“A-Annyeonghaseyo” I bowed down “I’m Kim Taeyeon. SNSD Leader Taeyeon.”

“Wooah!”

“Unnie I’m a fan~”

“It’s unbelievable!”

“Is she really Miyoung’s daughter?”

“Yes. My mother is Shin Miyoung.” i told them.

“Welcome~”

“You’re just like your mother.”

“Beautiful~”

“Please take care of her.” my grandpa told them.

My aunt came and took me to introduce me to the rest of the family members..

“This is your mother cousin.”

“That is your mother uncle..”

“Your mother aunt..”

“..This person is..”

“Your mother friend..”

“..Miyoung’s cousin..”

She kept introducing me to the family members. All of them were kind and welcomed me warmly. The youngsters were really fans, I saw couple of them at our fansigning sites and concerts.

“Sorry I’m lat-” someone came towards my aunt..

But I was shocked at her sight!..

“M-Mother?” it was Kwon Mother.

“Taeyeon?” she was startled as well “What are you doing here?”

“Eunji you know each other?” my aunt asked. (Eunji is Jiyong’s mother name)

“She is m-my..”

“Eunji-ya how are you my dear?” my grandma welcomed her.

“Hello aunt. How have you been?” she greeted my grandma.

“Why aren’t you visiting us as usual?”

Kwon mother know my mother’s family?

“Taeyeon dear this is your Mother closest cousin..” My aunt told me.

“M-Mother’s?” Kwon mother were confused.

“You know Taeyeon Eunji-ya?” Grandma asked.

“Y-Yes..”

“Wooah what a fate~”

“So you’re saying that Taeyeon is M-Miyoung’s d-daughter?”

“You didn’t know? She came last time when you couldn’t come here.”

“M-Mother..” I called.

“Mother? By chance are you..” my aunt noticed.

I was ashamed in front of Jiyong’s mother! I didn’t want her to know by this way..

“It’s just..” I was confused, I didn’t know how to start.

To my surprise.. she took me to her arms tightly!

I was startled..

“Thank god!” she said in muffled voice.

“Mother..”

She caressed my hair.. “Thank god Taeyeon~”

Now she broke the hug, held my shoulders and told me..

“You don’t know my happiness right now that you’re my sister’s daughter!..”

I couldn’t held my tears from falling!

“I’m sorry mother..” I bowed my head in shame.

“I’m not angry with you Taeyeon..” she lift my heard up “..You’re a gift from my sister. That’s a reason to never leave you~”

“I wanted to tell you but-”

She whipped my tears “It’s okay. Now smile and let me introduce you to our family..”

You don’t know how much I was touched with Jiyong’s mother reaction after knowing that I’m her cousin’s daughter, not my parent’s real daughter!

She warmly took me hand in hand and continued introducing me to this big, kind family~

Suddenly we heard the youngsters screaming!

We looked toward the source of this fuss..

It was someone I forgot about, after this shocking coincidence that happened tonight.

With his orange head, he walking down the stairs as he is having a photoshoot! Looking at his both sides as usual, trying not to meet people eyes..

But then he met mine!..

My heart skip a beat at that moment~

Jiyong POV

I didn’t know that it will be this big, I thought we would have dinner as last time.

While walking down the stairs in front of all these guests..

Someone that I missed were shining and stunning between all of them!

My eyes couldn’t leave her face, I kept my eyes on her..

I curtsied in front of her and kissed her hand “Hello little girl~”

She went all red~

Then someone I just saw at home came out beside her..

“M-Mom?” I was startled.

“Jiyong? What are you doing here?”

“I just..”

“We invited him Eunji-ya.” Taeyeon’s grandma told her.

“You k-knew?” she asked shockingly.

“Yes.” I bowed my head down.

“Ya Bad Boy!” she hit my head.

“How are you here..”

“She’s my cousin's daughter you little boy!” she was angry.

“You two..” I was shocked.

“She’s my Aunt.” Taeyeon told me.

“Wooah~” I held my head in disbelief.

“Now I knew where I saw you before little boy..” Grandpa came “You’re Eunji’s son!”

“Uncle Happy birthday~”

“Happy birthday Grandpa~” I told him.

“So at the end we’re turned out to be a family?” grandma said.

“What a great fate really~”

“Oppa~” the little girls came.

“G Dragon oppa right?”

“Ahh~~ I can’t believe my eyes!”

I think her cousins were VIP’s~

“Behave little girls!” Grandpa told them.

“Grandpa why G Dragon is here?” one of them asked.

“He’s your cousin’s Fiancé.”

They were frozen at their place.

“w-what?” her Aunt asked in disbelief.

“GD oppa and Taeyeon unnie?”

“For real?”

“Wooah Daebak!!”

“Are you VIP?” she asked them.

“Of course.” they proudly replied.

“Then can you promise not to tell anyone yet?”

“Unnie are you really with Jiyong oppa?”

“There still nothing officially.” That reply hurt me.

“So why can’t we do that official thing tonight?” I told her.

“w-what?” she was taken aback.

“Right, how about getting engaged now?” Grandma said cheerfully.

“N-Now? But-”

“Com'on you two with me. Your engagement ceremony will be held right now..” this grandpa is my role model.

“Grandpa b-but..”

“Don’t you two like each other?” he asked straightforward.

“Yes.” I replied.

“Then what are you waiting for?”

“Nothing.” I replied again.

I was excited to be honest.

“Jiyong..”

“Let’s do it.” I held my hand for her.

She didn’t take it straightforwardly.. I was disappointed, so I took my hand back.

But then she took it fast and smiled “Let’s do it.”

“Are you sure?” I asked in disbelief.

“More than ever.”

I held on her hand tightly and went with grandpa to announce our engagement in front of all her family right here.

“Grandpa..” she called him before taking the microphone “..shouldn’t my p-parents be here?”

“I know that would happen. So I called for them before ahead.” We were shocked “they should be here by now.”

As he said that.. that gentle man came in with Taeyeon’s parents behind him!

Both of us were speechless, then when I looked at carefully.. my father and sister were also with them!

“So do we start now?” he asked us.

We just nodded.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce you once again my granddaughter~” they all applauded “and my granddaughter fiancé~”

“Isn’t that G Dragon?” one of the family members asked.

“Annyeonghaseyo~” I bowed down “I’m Kwon Jiyong, BIGBANG’s Leader G Dragon.”

“Wooah what a couple really~”

“They look cute together!”

“This is a big news for sure!”

“Aren’t you Eunji's son?”

“Yes he’s my son.” My mother replied proudly.

“They’re relative too? What a destiny!”

“So now we’re going to hold their engagement ceremony..”

“Engagement? Now?”

“Yes. Please welcome Taeyeon’s father..”

Her father came.

“And Jiyong’s father..”

My father came too.

“Let me host this engagement.” He told the guests.

“Kwon Jiyong, would you like to take Kim Taeyeon as your fiancé?” he asked me.

Without hesitating I looked at Taeyeon right in her eyes and answered “Yes.”

They all howled and applauded

“Kim Taeyeon, would you like to take Kwon Jiyong as your fiancé?” he asked her.

She smiled widely and answered “Yes.”

They howled again~

“Then now I announce that you two are officially engaged. Congratulations kids~” he hugged us.

“Thank you~” we bowed respectfully to him.

“Wait!” grandma shouted “Take this and put it on her..” she gave me a ring.

I went in front of Taeyeon on my knees..

“Kim Taeyeon will you be my life mate?” I asked her sincerely.

She blushed really hard. “Y-Yes” she replied is low voice.

“We can’t hear you!” Dami noona shouted playfully.

“Yes!” she shouted now.

Everyone applauded happily with wide smiles~

I took the ring that grandma gave to me.. and put it on her finger~

After the moment she wore the ring.. my heart felt much at ease and fluttered!
