While I was playing with my phone after practicing for our comeback next two weeks, I got a message from my mother..

“Taeyeon-ah, be free on Sunday. We’ve to go somewhere. It’s an order girl.”

Just like with this message changed my whole world..

We went to that ‘somewhere’ my mom told me about. It was a big house mixed of traditional also modern architecture.

As we entered, a kind old lady in her last-forties welcomed me in hugs and kisses.

I was stunned knowing nothing where we were? Or who is people right here? Or why even we are here?

As I asked my mother all the way long here she just reply “as you arrive there you’ll know”.

This awkward silence never ended. Just smiling here and there knowing no one and just sitting between old grannies and old women including my mom.

I elbowed my mom and speaking as smiling “umma, where are we? I don’t have time. I need to return at the company by two hours.”

My mom did the same action and replied “don’t be hurried for your paycheck.”

Then someone finally broke this silence.

And that was the old lady that welcomed me back then. “finally we could gather right here after 18 years.” I was stunned at the moment 18 years? Seriously?!

 “Taeyeon, how are you my dear? You were just this tall when I saw you last time.” what ‘this tall’ referred to? She knew me?

“I’m f-fine.” Then my mom completed for me “she’s busy these days so she barely made time today, Excuse her.” Mom when you will tell me who are these people and why am I here?

They just continued talking and chatting about old memories laughing and having fun where I was just sitting giving this granny a smile and that lady another. Just it was hell for me!. Every time I hold my phone my mom would give me that sharp look.

At last someone came that I was like I met a hero that moment “Hello everyone, sorry for being late.”. It was a familiar young lady I have seen her somewhere?

she came and sat next to me. I greeted her politely and it was then when she whispered to me..

“Hello taengoo~” I was startled that she knew me.

“h-huh? You know me?”

“And who doesn’t? Korea’s biggest idol. Oh sorry World biggest idol!” was what she replied ending it with giggles both of us.

 It was a relief that there was someone I could communicate with.

“Finally you saved me. I was just sitting here like a miss Korea waving and sending smiles here and there. Thank you really~”

She laughed and said “Do you even know why are you here?”

“No actually that’s what I’m begging my mother to tell me since the morning.”

She had a serious facial expression, sighted then she told me a fact that changed my whole world!

It was then when I stand from the shocking news I just heard. All the eyes was on me, I said maybe shouted “MOM I’M GOING!”.

My mom kept calling me even she followed me outside but I didn’t care and ride my Benz and went, driving with crazy speed.

It’s ridiculous! This is not happening! She must be joking with me! This can’t happen!! THIS IS NOT FREAKING REAL!!!!!  I kept telling myself as I drove to my house.

This really should not happen!!  I said as I entered my apartment.

I went to the bathroom and kept washing my face once, twice, about twenty times splashing the cold water on my face as I could wake up from this disaster.

My phone didn’t stop ringing since I left my mom there. Each missed call will be delivered to voice message and it will be heard in the whole apartment through my sound system.

“Kim Taeyeon where are you? How could you embarrass me like this?”

“Taeyeon why did you leave? What happen?!”

“I called you agency you’re not there! Where are you?”

“YAH!! KIM TAEYEON!! What’re you thinking of?!”

“Girl.. please what happened to you?”

“Why did you leave this angry?”

“Why did I do to you?”

“My girl.. are you okay?..”

No I’m not!  was what I said as I was sitting in the corner of my living room watching the night view of Seoul.

I’m Lonely.. was all what came to my mind.

“YAH KIM TAEYEON!! OPEN THE DOOR!!” was what woke me up.

I lift up my head from my knees, to see that morning had come already. And I was in one of the living room corners sitting of the floor hugging my legs and slept there all night shivering from the cold.

The door didn’t stop knocking on it, the doorbell will explode from ringing it. But still I was like a robot went to the bathroom washed my face, brush my teeth, put on my clothes and made my hair, got my purse my car keys and went toward the door heading to my morning schedule.
