Patching things up
Forget Me Not“Minyoung,”
I looked behind me, and saw Key, smiling at me.
I stood up, and looked at him with nervous eyes. “Y-yes?”
“I’m sorry for what I did last Thursday night. I was wrong. I know you’re not my girlfriend, I just thought you were her,”
I nodded. “I-it’s okay, I understand. I-is there anything else that you want to t-tell me?”
He smiled. “Can I sit with you?”
I nodded. “Oh, sure,”
“I was told that you can’t remember anything in the past ten years. Am I right?”
I nodded. “Oh, yes. By any chance, are you a friend of mine?”
He nodded, and then smiled. “Yes. I’m your friend. A very good friend of yours,”
“Oh, I see,”
From what I heard yesterday, he’s my real boyfriend. If he is, then why is he acting like this?
“Do you want me to tell you some things about how we met?”
I nodded, as I took a sip of my coffee.
“We met five years ago, at Miss Kim Minji’s party,”
“Kim Minji’s party? Who is she?”
“Do you remember Jonghyun?”
“No, I don’t. But I met him and his wife, Hyorin, yesterday,”
Key told me about everything, about how we met again at Kangwondo, and what happened in the past six months that we knew each other. From what he told me, I was sent by my father to Kangwondo, and he taught me some important things. And there, I met Jonghyun and Hyorin, and some of Hyorin’s friends, whose names are Choi Sooyoung, Kwon Yuri, and Seo Juhyun or Seohyun, as we call her. He told me about everything, but I can feel that he was forgetting a very important detail, but I don’t know what it is.
I want to know if he really is my boyfriend or not, but I still don’t know how.

“Minyoung, are you ready to go?” Key asked, as he walked towards me.
“Sure,” I told Key, and walked towards his car.
Key and I had been seeing each other for a week, and we became very good friends like we were before, just like what he told me. I haven’t talked to Onew oppa and Taemin for a week, after what happened at the salon.
“Why didn’t you ask Minho to go with you?” he asked, as he opened his car’s door.
I stopped. “You don’t want to? Then, I’ll just ask someone to come with me,”
He held my hand, and stopped me from leaving. He smiled. “I was just joking,”
I smiled, as I got into his car.
“Does Minho know about this?” he asked, as he started the engine.
I nodded. “I told him last night,”
“And he’s okay with it?”
“Yes,”
He shook his head. “What kind of guy is he? You’re getting married tomorrow, but he’s still busy,”
“I understand him, you know. But still, there’s something weird about him,”
“What is it?”
“I’ll just tell you later when we reach my mom’s grave.”
