Luhan grabbed Jinah’s arm as Jinah ushered Minho, the little boy she had been told to look after to go back to the shop. Jinah swatted Luhan’s hand, but he didn’t budge. Did she really think he was that stupid? As much as his mind wasn’t functioning properly because of her sudden appearance and the sudden, shocking news, he could still distinguish lies from the truth.

“And do you think I believe that?” he asked, slightly angry at Jinah for trying to fool him. He tried his best to think about the possible reasons of how on earth Jinah got pregnant when they never slept in that way together before.

“Let go, Luhan.”

He tried to ransack his brain if ever there was a drunken night that he came home and somewhat forced Jinah, but he always had a high alcohol tolerance and he knew he never, not even once pressured Jinah into things she wasn’t comfortable with.

Just like Luhan, their eyes widened when they saw Jinah’s tummy. They didn’t need to ask as Luhan had already answered the questions in their head, “Don’t tell me that lame of an excuse, Jinah. Do you really think that I will believe you that it’s Kevin’s child? It’s that night when we slept together in the hotel. Do you remember how you couldn’t remember anything, but I do? I remembered everything that happened that night when we woke up and I’m sure that we didn’t use protection.”

For men, that type of talk would be nothing, but for Jinah, it was embarrassing. Her cheeks were tinted with a natural blush. As much as she wanted to fight back, she had no words to say, but she had to think of a way out. There was no way she would let Luhan be in her baby’s life.

“I took pills after that day, Luhan, that’s why our supposedly baby never happened,” she fought back. She tried not to stutter and feel embarrassed, but her heart was saying otherwise. Luhan knew that it was possible, but his sixth sense was so strong that he didn’t want to believe Jinah. Luhan thought of a plan to prove that it was his child, but he wouldn’t tell Jinah his plan because Jinah would think of a solution in advance. He just wanted to catch her right then, but that would take too long. He was thinking of a doing a paternity test even if Jinah was still pregnant, but if Jinah would refuse, it would be really difficult.
