The MaskShe lay her black tube long dress with a slit on the side that shows three fourths of her legs on the bed, and pondered on what heels she should use - the black Louboutin that she really love or the Jimmy Choo that The Reds bought her for her birthday.
‘This is why I hate being a girl sometimes. I have tons of clothes, accessories and shoes, but I’m just unsure of what to wear especially on such important occasions. I want to look at my best, but at the same time I want to keep it simple.’
She sighed and opted for the Louboutin, and kept the other pair of shoes away. She got in front of her vanity kit and started doing my face and my hair.
‘This is one of the benefits of having stylist friends, they can give you the best tutorials and advices when it comes to looking pretty.’
She finished fixing her hair and makeup within two hours and slid on her dress. She didn’t notice how the dress looked quite revealing not until she put it on. The slit on the left side showed a lot of skin for her opinion and the fact that her cleavage was visible on the dress was not helping at all. She had thought of changing to a more conservative dress, but it had been a while since she last wore such a dress. There was no harm in showing her assets after all.
Bringing her car and driving it was unnecessary since Kevin would pick her up and go to the party with her. It was such a relief since she wasn’t intending to mingle with those snotty heirs and heiress. If only the party wasn’t Yoo Joon’s, she would not think twice and would not come.
Yoo Joon and Jinah go way back to university days. He was one of her friends, but they didn’t had much history, so he was not that much of a partial part in her life unlike The Reds.
“Whoa, you look stunning.” Kevin winked as he appeared in his black tux and his hair was swept to the side.
“Why thank you. You don’t look bad yourself,” she said as he pretended to be a gentleman and showed her the way out; not that he was not though.
The drive to the hotel was short since there was no traffic. They went to the ballroom and said their names on the reception near the door. Once they checked it, they went inside the ballroom, which was really big. It was decorated simply, but it still looked luxurious. Hundreds of tables were set up and she assumed there would be at least four hundred guests.
Each table has six seats and Kevin and Jinah would sit with their university friends, which they had barely kept in contact with. There were already a few hundreds of people inside and they greeted those whom they recognized.
Kevin excused himself as he greeted a girl whom she didn’t know and her eyes feasted at the surroundings. The more she looked around, the more people from the entertainment industry she sees. She cocked an eyebrow and suddenly remembered that Joon’s father was friends with the biggest CEOs.
She looked back at Kevin and when she saw the girl leave, she approached him. He was walking towards her as well and he brought up his champagne glass to his mouth. “Do you know who else is coming tonight?” He took a sip and looked at her with his normal expression.
“Should I know that that person is coming?” she asked quizzically.
