They were walking silently to the bus stop, and she had no idea why he insisted on accompanying her. She didn’t feel like talking to him.

“Uh… did I say something wrong back in there? I feel like all of your friends’ breaths stopped for a moment there,” he asked.

‘This guy totally has no idea.’

She shook her head and lied, “No, I think it’s because they’re not used to hearing you tease me and Kevin.” She awkwardly laughed and she could sense that he was not buying what she just said. Before he could ask more, she changed to a topic that might interest him. “So, where are we going tomorrow?”

As she asked that question, she saw how happy he looked all of a sudden. His expression was not the brightest, but she saw and felt the sudden jolt of happiness in him. It was really obvious and it pained her knowing that she wasn’t the reason for his happiness, but another girl.

“I have no idea actually. She said it will be a surprise. So, I’ll see you tomorrow then?” He stopped walking as they reached the bus stop, and she forced a smile while nodding.

“Thanks for sending me here,” she said and waited for the bus that was approaching. “Why are you still here?” she asked when she noticed that he was still there.

“I told you that I’m sending you home,” he said casually and she sighed.

“And let your fan girls recognize you then the next thing you know, there will be rumors that EXO’s Luhan is dating.” Annoyed, she rolled her eyes at his stubbornness.

Luhan on the other hand came prepared. He had a beanie and a mask with him, and he just wore it. She held in her laughter at his attempt of staying anonymous. She really appreciated that he wanted to send her home, and since he already went this far, she would just let him do whatever he wants.

She stuck Luhan’s hair inside the beanie and put his mask a little higher so it would cover his nose. It felt like as if it was a mother tending to her child. Luhan was looking at her while she was fixing his disguise, and she chortled when she finished the touch up.

“I just hope that no one recognizes you or else you’re doomed.”

“There’s no way they’re going to recognize me in this,” he said. If only he knew that his doe eyes always stood out in the crowd.

“Maybe if you stop talking they won’t recognize you since a lot of people knows your talking voice by now.” It was true anyway. Because of their variety shows, hostings and guestings, the EXO boys’ talking voices were known to the public now.

He nodded his head and they went inside the half full bus when it stopped finally in front of them. They took the last seat at the back and she sat beside the window. She felt a little bit uncomfortable that they were so close together, but she had to admit that it is what she always wanted – having him this close to her.
