Complications
Wanted LoveKyungsoo and Jonghyun walked to the register and waited for Kai to get there. Baekhyun shrugged as he had no idea why their friend had ignored them upright like that. Sehun rested his head in his palm and did not say anything to this matter. Chen and Xiumin were as well confused. They asked each other if anyone had done him wrong or got him become upset about something. But none of the boys had an idea. Chanyeol clenched his fist and got up just to get held back by Baekhyun once again.
“Let him be.” the boy said and added, “Maybe he needs some time out... Maybe he has to talk about tutoring with senior Jonghyun... He’s busy.”
Chanyeol bit his teeth together and sat back on his chair. Then they enjoyed their drinks and sweets and agreed to have some alcoholic liquors afterwards. Kai exchanged glances with his friends as he was not a fan of drinking, but he gave in, nodded, and hurried to the other two.
“Kyungsoo, are you feeling better?” Kai asked a little worried, “Would you like to join us go drinking when I’m done here?”
Jonghyun smiled softly and patted the smaller boy on the back. As Kyungsoo was not consider answering, the senior told Kai that his friend was feeling a little sick at school, but now it was all good again, but he needed him to talk over their newly composed music sheet later. Kai looked at his friend with a sulky expression. Kyungsoo kept his head down and avoided Kai’s eyes. Jonghyun then asked for two hot drinks to go. They were not planning staying at the café, instead the lyrical genius had asked the junior to go out for an evening walk and Kyungsoo had agreed.
“Alright, I’ll get you two cups of hot tea right away.” Kai let them know and hurried with the order, “Just give me a second.”
Jonghyun kept smiling at him nicely and briefly glanced at Kyungsoo, to check if the boy was okay with the situation. Of course, he was not, but there was nothing the senior could do about it.
Back in the music room when Jonghyun had ended his piece on the piano Kyungsoo had wiped his tears away. He had not told the senior about his feelings, but Jonghyun had an idea since the day at the arcade. He did not mention it to his junior, because he wanted Kyungsoo to talk to him about it whenever he felt ready to do so. It was a private matter after all, and he respected it.
“Hey, Kyungsoo?” Chanyeol approached the two, who were waiting for their cups, “Is everything alright?”
His friend nodded with a fake smile.
“I’m busy writing a new song...” he lied and threw a quick glance at the senior.
Jonghyun understood.
“Yup, Soo and I have to go over the sheets we’ve produced today.” he was accompanying the lie without hesitation, “But he’ll be all yours tomorrow, I promise!”
Chanyeol pulled down one corner of his lips and knit his brows as he was not sure if he should believe this. But in the end, he had no other option but to do so. He nodded unwillingly and leaned on the counter.
“Kai, someone posted on the university’s chat that senior Taemin hates bugs.” he informed his friend and asked for another iced coffee, while the waiter put the lids on the hot cups and handed them over to Jonghyun.
The senior paid for the drinks and laughed to Chanyeol’s words. He was amused by the boy being way too serious about the battle between these two.
“That’s actually true.” Jonghyun confirmed it with a grin and handed one cup to Kyungsoo, who was staying silent whenever Taemin’s name was brought up, “Let’s go now.”
Chanyeol and Kai bowed to the senior and waved at Kyungsoo as they left the café. The sun-kissed boy prepared the iced coffee for his friend and sighed.

The weekend had passed too fast. It was always the same with the last two days of the week. There was definitely a day missing between Sunday and Monday.
Friday night was a disaster. The boys went clubbing and got themselves in a fight with some students from the university. They had mocked Kai because of all the rumors that had already spread like a virus among the pupils. Chanyeol and Sehun were the first ones to blow punches at those rascals. But since they were under the influence of alcohol, they were not able to keep it up. Xiumin and Baekhyun had brought them back to their places and Chen had walked Kai home. Kai was the one not drinking that night, because he needed a fresh and clean mind for the next day as he was going to work at the café again. His sister had told him that her date with the charismatic senior was partially strange, as Minho had asked her a lot of questions about him. He had told her that as a senior he needed to know his juniors much better. Minho was for real collecting all information about the sun-kissed boy from everyone. Saturday and Sunday Kai had helped his sister at Kamong and none of his friends had appeared there on these days. Firstly, they had a hangover and secondly, they needed to do homework and projects on Sunday, since they had wasted their Saturday sleeping in. And thus, the weekend had ended quickly.
It became Monday once again. And as the saying goes... Monday can either be the start to a struggle week, or a fresh reminder that a person should stay strong. Kai’s locker was smeared all over again, for the third time today. He sighed at the sight of it and lowered his head with a frown. He was certainly tired of this. He was done cleaning it all up. He had no energy left to put into it all over again.
“I still wonder who that anonymous person in the university’s chat was.” Chanyeol said and leaned on his own locker, while grabbing his sports bag tight between his arms.
Kai shrugged. He had no clue, but he was grateful. Because thanks to that person, Tae
