Taemin held his breath, being touched by Kai like this made him nervous. The sun-kissed junior tightened his grip around Taemin’s wrist and glanced at it. He kept his eyes on it, took a deep breath, and finally looked up with an oppressed expression.

“Please… don’t kiss me anymore…” Kai finally said all nervous about the kiss and sighed, “I don’t like being kissed without consent…”

Taemin was not expecting this. He gulped and remained silent, as his heartbeat throbbed against his chest.

“I’m not like the girls you’re seeing…” Kai added and clenched his lips.

Then he was about to let go, but the handsome senior grabbed his hand and kept Kai’s fingers wrapped around his wrist. Taemin shook his head from left to right frantically. His face turned red because he was angry and sad.

“The last person I’ve been together with was you.” he admitted confidently about his situation, “I haven’t slept with anyone over a month now!”

Kai tried to pull away his hand, but Taemin did not let go easily. Instead, the senior walked up to him, making the sweaty dancer step backwards until he bumped on the wall behind him. Taemin was overly intimidating again. He let go of Kai’s hand and pushed his shoulders against the wall, stepping closer and making the junior flinch and shiver all over his body. Kai felt uneasy, he was scared of his tutor. Frightened that Taemin would not respect his feelings and private space about this matter. The handsome player squinted his eyes and approached Kai’s face, staring him right in the brown irises. The sun-kissed junior became too nervous and shut his eyes in an instant. Every single inch of his body wanted to avoid the senior. Taemin knit his brows, let go of Kai’s left shoulder, and suddenly he punched the wall next to his head, making Kai twitch in fear.

“Tsk.” Taemin hissed mad about the junior’s attitude towards him, “I’m confessing to you, letting you know how I feel and this is how you treat me? I’m telling you, if you keep pushing me away like this, I’ll give up on you. Do you really want this? Are you sure you won’t regret it?”

Kai kept his eyes shut, as Taemin leaned closer to his face and slowly withdrew his fist from the wall. His knuckles were a little bruised, not bleeding though. Taemin flared his nostrils in anger and disappointment. He then finally let go of the junior and turned away. He grabbed his bag all angrily and wanted to dial Minho’s number, but his phone died on battery too. The senior growled furiously about the entire situation. Kai had opened his eyes and watched him in silence. He was still trembling from Taemin’s punch on the wall. He had not known about the aggressive side of the handsome player. The talented dancer glanced one more time at Kai, and then he walked with rapid steps towards a window. He slid it open fast with a jerk. Kai frowned in worry, but he kept his footing. Taemin glanced outside, down the five floors. It was way too high to jump out. He hissed again and leaned out to look left and right, his hands grabbing tight the thin parapet of the window. Kai became a little more nervous about the senior leaning out like this. He would not be thinking of climbing out, would he? But then suddenly Taemin grabbed the frame of the window and pulled himself up. He climbed up the thin parapet, making Kai’s heart race. The sun-kissed student immediately ran up to the senior and grabbed his waist to pull him back. He was reminded of Kyungsoo.

“What are you doing?!” Kai shouted anxiously, “You can’t jump, just because I rejected you! It’s not worth dying!”

Taemin tried to unwrap his arms.

“Let go, you idiot!” he yelled at the junior, “I’m going to climb over to the terrace! It’s just a little jump. I’m not jumping to death!”

Kai shook his head. It was way too dangerous.

“No! What if you fall?!” he countered and tightened his arms around Taemin’s tiny waist, “It can’t be worse to stay here with me than to jump and die!”

Taemin gritted his teeth and let go of Kai’s arms to grab the frame of the window again and push forward harder. This became dangerous verily quick.

“Are you crazy?!” Kai shrieked, nearly freaking out about the situation as adrenaline pumped through his entire body, and pulled strongly that he finally managed to yank the handsome player away from the parapet.

He stumbled over his own feet and fell on his back with Taemin on top of him. Kai kept his arms wrapped around the senior and locked his lower body with his legs as well, while Taemin had opened his eyes widely due to shock. He stared at the ceiling above them, as his back was resting on Kai’s light body. Both their hearts were beating fast. Kai’s beat fast because he had feared that the senior would jump out and die, and Taemin’s heart raced because for a single moment he had thought that he had indeed fallen to his death. Luckily, they were lying on the dance floor inside the building. Kai breathed heavily and Taemin noticed it. He tried to make the junior let go of him, but Kai did not unwrap his arms around Taemin’s waist, nor did he loosen his legs around his body.

“You- You can let me go now…” the handsome player suggested, and then he blushed, because the junior was still lying beneath him.

Kai took a deep breath and inhaled the sweaty yet sweet scent of Taemin’s hair, which tickled his face. He blushed beneath the handsome player too.

“Promise me- Promise me that you’ll stay here with me…” Kai stuttered nervously, and he made the senior nod slowly on top of him, “Please... don’t jump... I- I can’t handle loosing you...”

Taemin promised with a single nod on top of him and patted his arms gently. Then Kai finally let go of the senior. Taemin instantly got up and turned around to look at Kai, who was still lying on the floor. They both were all red in their faces. Taemin scratched his head and turned his chin to the right, avoiding the junior’s eyes. Kai suddenly started laughing, making Taemin look back at him with a puzzled expression.

“You-” he needed to take a break to breath in and out calmly, “You really are not just a handsome player, but also a crazy one. You are nuts.”

Taemin tilted his head to the right and lifted one brow. He crouched in front of Kai, sitting like “L” from “Death Note”, and glanced at the junior.

“What did you call me?” he asked and his lower lip with a slightly annoyed expression.

Kai carefully sat up, his arms were stretched back as he was supporting himself with his hands and his legs were still spread flat on the floor. He looked straight at Taemin with a smirk. Their faces were merely a leg-length away from each other. They were nearly eye-leveled. Kai’s limbs already hurt too much, but now that he had pulled the senior hard, his arms were in greater pain. Taemin waited for an answer and clicked with his tongue. Kai’s heartbeat had calmed down, and he had stopped trembling. The adrenalin from earlier was gone.

“Do you think that I’m handsome?” Taemin asked with a pout, since he got no answer.

Kai chuckled, leaned forward and sat up cross-legged.

“No, I said that you are a handsome and crazy player.” he repeated himself and showed the senior his tongue, “Merong.”

Taemin smirked too, and finally he sat on his , slightly leaning back and supporting himself with his forearms.

“Well, I don’t care about the crazy player part.” he admitted and grinned, while looking at the ceiling, “I’ll pretend that you only mentioned the handsome part.”

Kai shook his head with a laugh. It had been long since the two could express joy together, perhaps it was the first time ever. After Taemin’s attempt to climb out the window from the fifth floor, their heads had become a little cloudy, and now they were all relaxed.

“I had no idea that you could be out of rage like that…” Kai mentioned
