It became the first day of May. The finals were slowly nearing, and from now on the students attended their courses attentively. Last night had been a tough one for Kai. Although he had gone to the hospital to meet his family members, his oldest sister had chased him away. He had not been able to talk to his mother. Luckily, the seniors had taken good care of him, after he had arrived at their dorm.

In the morning, they had breakfast and walked to the faculty together. Minho called Jungah to let her know, that her little brother was doing way better today. She was happy to hear that. Taemin had managed to calm the sun-kissed junior down last night. Although Kai wanted to force himself to intimacy and his boyfriend was a lot by his aggressive behavior in bed, Taemin had stopped him. He had convinced Kai to cuddle instead and the overstrained junior had agreed to it. Taemin did not like the idea of making love when one of them was angry because of personal matters. Their intimacy should be pure and happen when both were enveloped with love.

Jonghyun checked his papers that he had prepared for his presentation for his classical music studies, while Minho grabbed his utilities for his courses. They waved at the other two and walked away together. Kai looked at his handsome boyfriend, as he waited for him to leave too. Taemin his lips as he wanted to kiss the junior but since they were at the faculty, that option was out of reach. Kai chuckled, and then he smirked at the pouting senior because he knew how his beloved one felt. His smile made Taemin’s heart skip a beat once again. He loved Kai’s killer smile enormously. The sun-kissed student seemed shy yet confident with that beautiful expression gracing his attractive face.

Taemin suddenly grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the restroom because he wanted to embrace him without others watching them. When the remaining students left the room, he entered a stall together with the sun-kissed junior. Kai chuckled in his arms. Taemin quickly held his cheeks and pressed a kiss on his soft lips. It was not a gentle osculation, it was filled with lust. The handsome senior had fought against his own urges last night because Kai seriously had made it difficult for him to hold back. Still, he had managed not to get intimate with the junior. But this morning, his body simply wanted love.

“Tae… I… I need to… go to my… course…” Kai whispered over his full lips, but he wrapped his arms around the senior’s shoulders and pulled him closer.

Indeed, he too wanted to spend some time with his handsome boyfriend. Taemin breathed heavily as he went in strong. He pressed the body of the sun-kissed boy against the wall of the stall, held Kai’s left arm that he had put around Taemin’s shoulder, grabbed his wrist, slammed it back on the wall and pulled it up.

“You just… provoked me… with your smile… You know… how much I… love it…” Taemin whispered over his lips, in between the kisses and bit him, “I really… want you right now…”

Kai gulped as the kiss turned to a sticky one quite fast. His heart raced and as Taemin pulled back for a brief break, Kai noticed that his body was close to respond.

“Ah… If- if we continue… I- I’ll need to… take care of-” he stuttered ashamed and lowered his face.

Taemin touched his chin and lifted his head. He leaned in for another kiss. This time he went with soft and slow movements. Their lips gently brushed each other. Then he pulled back and smiled to the embarrassed student.

“Stay at my place again…” he offered and kissed Kai’s cheek, “Save yourself for tonight.”

Kai blushed in his arms and nodded with a heartbeat that pounded strongly in his chest. Then suddenly Taemin let go of his wrist and stepped back with a cheeky smirk. He turned to the door and listened, since it was dead silent, he exited the stall and approached the sinks. He washed his hands and face. Kai stayed inside like paralyzed as he was caught off guard by the sudden cut in action. He had enjoyed the kisses and feeling hotter with his boyfriend pushing him against the wall. He breathed heavily, then he covered his face with his hands and stepped outside. He had turned all red in shame for wanting more in a place like this. Taemin glanced at him and laughed all amused. Kai washed his face and drank some water to cool off his spinning mind.

“You are cute.” the handsome player added in a chuckle and waited for Kai to be done washing up.

Then he accompanied his boyfriend to the lockers.

“I’ll see you at break.” he said, and lightly caressed Kai’s upper arm.

He leaned in for a kiss, but abruptly stopped as he realized that they were in the hallway and students were watching them. Kai nodded silently, then the blonde senior walked away as he needed to go for his art courses.

Just when Kai opened his locker to get his notebooks, Chanyeol approached him with a deep sigh. The playful student leaned on his own locker and glanced to the ground.

“Huh? Chanyeol?” Kai noticed him right after he closed the lid, “Where is Kyungsoo? W- What happened to your lip?”

Chanyeol briefly looked up and shrugged in silence. His roommate had already left the dorm when he woke up. The athlete vaguely remembered what he had done last night, and he felt bad about it.

“Kai… I- I kissed Kyungsoo…” the playful student admitted and sighed in despair.

Kai blinked his eyes rapidly in surprise. He remained silent, as he did not know how to respond to this. Chanyeol fixed his eyes to the floor and sulked.

“Baek… and I… we broke up…” he finally informed his best friend about it, which made Kai’s eyes double in size.

“Because you kissed Kyungsoo?” Kai asked all puzzled about the situation of his friend, “Did Baekhyun punch you? Your lip and cheek look terrible…”

Chanyeol shook his head slowly from left to right and put his hands deep into his pockets. He felt awful about the kiss, but worse for his breakup. Kai patted his shoulder and smiled at him with a sad yet encouraging expression.

“I suppose it was a misunderstanding…” the sun-kissed student said with a soft voice, “Apologize to Kyungsoo and talk to Baekhyun… I’m sure you’ll make it work… I can talk to Kyungsoo if you want me to.”

Chanyeol forced a light smile, and then they walked through the hallway. The athlete needed to go to his programming courses, while Kai had to join the literature one. On the way to the auditoriums, they came across Sehun, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun, who were on their way to the chemistry course.

“Oh, hey!” Kai greeted them, but all he got back was Sehun who nodded with a blank expression, Kyungsoo who cleared his throat nervously, and Baekhyun who immediately turned around and walked away wordlessly, “Baekhyun… wait!”

Kai looked from one of his friends to another as he was confused about the heavy atmosphere among them. Sehun crossed his arms and briefly glanced at his boyfriend from the corner of his eyes. Chanyeol lowered his head as he felt awful and apologetic about the drunk kiss.

“I- I’m sorry about the kiss I forced on you…” he apologized and bowed to Kyungsoo, “I hope you can forgive me… It was a mistake… I had a ty day and let my anger out on you… I’m deeply sorry about it…”

Kyungsoo gulped and took a slight step back. Sehun had nothing to say, because it was up to the durnk-kissed student to either accept or reject the apology of Chanyeol. Kai bit his lower lip as he was concerned about their situation and genuinely did not want his friends to be on bad terms. Kyungsoo exchanged glances with the others and then smiled with his brows lowered.

“It’s okay… You were drunk… and Sehun punched you already... so... don’t mention it...” he responded after a while and approached Chanyeol to pat his arm, “But… what made you drink so much?”

The apologetic student finally lifted his head and looked into Kyungsoo’s eyes. Sehun put his hands in his pockets and fixed his glance on Chanyeol. He knew that Kris was the one who punched the playful boy, but he had thought that this was all to it.

“Uhm… I’ll talk to you guys later… I need to go now.” Chanyeol avoided the question and walked away without a word.

Kai tilted his head as he was totally left out on this topic and confused about his best friend’s sudden runaway.

“What happened last night?” Kai asked the other two in worry.

Sehun shrugged and Kyungsoo told them that Baekhyun had broken up with their playful friend because Chanyeol had left him in the morning right after having with him the night prior, because of Kris. Sehun crossed his arms with his brows knit as somehow the situation felt odd.

“Chanyeol had a fight with Kris thou…” he informed his friends about it, “At least, that’s what he told me last night. Chanyeol sait that it was Kris who punched him…”

“Huh? Kris?” Kai questioned Sehun’s words in disbelief and added with a puzzled expression, “But… Kris helped me back to the dorm last night… He was at the hospital… I didn’t see Chanyeol there…”

Kyungsoo pouted and scratched his chin. The situation was messed up, and they all knew that Chanyeol kept a secret from them.

“Well, Chanyeol called him a- I’m stating- ‘bastard’.” Sehun added with a blank expression and took a deep breath in, “I don’t think that Chanyeol likes him at all. He doesn’t want to be friends with him either. Baek just got the wrong idea about it…”

They were clueless about the whole topic. They only knew that it involved Kris.

Sehun pulled Kyungsoo’s arm, indicating that they had to hurry for their chemistry course, but the shorter student told him to go first, and he would catch up on him. Sehun squinted his eyes, stared at Kyungsoo, looked left and right and since there was no one in the hallway, he pulled his boyfriend closer and kissed his forehead without a warning. It made Kyungsoo blush. Kai chuckled to them and when Sehun walked away with heavy steps, the other one caressed his forehead shyly and then looked at the sun-kissed boy.

“Kai… Are you alright?” he asked his friend in worry, as he had informed him about his family members on the phone last night, “Did you see your mother and sister?”

The sun-kissed junior took a deep breath, faked a smile, and shook his head from left to right. He seemed heartbroken about being reminded of what had happened, but he did not want to stick to it too much. Kyungsoo noticed his sad appearance, hugged him briefly and made Kai feel a little better. Then he turned around and walked away. They went their separate ways to join the courses they were assigned to.

Yixing walked down the stairs to the music room to practice playing the guitar. He was all alone today because neither Xiumin nor Chen had come to the faculty. Tao was missing as well and Suho had different courses since he was in the 3rd year. Yixing checked Luhan’s IG repeatedly, but there were no more pictures of the peach-haired student. The Chinese boy sulked in disappointment as he wanted to see Luhan badly, but it had been a while since their ways crossed the last time. Yixing was interested in the dancer and wanted to know him better. He believed that Luhan was not bad, just a little off the track and needed a push to the right direction.

After two hours of him practicing the guitar, Yixing exited the faculty building to go to the music shop across the streets because his strings had broken, and he needed to renew them. On his way to the shop, he noticed the Chinese motorcyclist waiting at the gate.

“Huh? Isn’t that Kris?” he whispered to himself, approached the motorcyclist and greeted him with a bright smile, “Hey! Are you waiting for someone?”

Kris looked up from his phone and glanced at Yixing with a lifted brow. He pushed himself off the wall and bit the corner of his lips. He did not know the student that talked to him. He had seen him once or twice in the faculty back in China due to the exchange program his ex-boyfriend Tao attended.
