As some of you know, I've been keeping this story on draft mode for a few days. First, because I wasn't sure if asianfanfic was the right site for me and second, because I saw people trying to convert stories for another ship without the authors' permission or credit. And I even saw some of the readers who subscribed to my stories supporting that action so I was shocked, outraged even.

I tried to think of a solution. Being judged is inevitable, I know. People will talk about which fic is the best and as long as I'm in this site the number of upvotes will determine if I wrote a good story or not.

But I at least wanted to do something about the converting issue. Because it's basically stealing and since I've seen this happen to my author friend a few months back, I wanted to do something about it.

I realized this isn't the kind of problem I can solve all by myself. So it felt like leaving seemed to be the only solution. But I didn't want to take away any person's experience and feelings they felt while reading my stories because of this.

So I want to ask you a favor. Please report and block anyone who attempts converting other people's hard work. I would be more than grateful if you too keep your eyes open for such attempts. Because writing is hard. Especially when you want to write a good one and I'm sure the stories you've thought that were great took more than just a week, and a lot I mean A LOT of effort to finish.
