"Jihyoooooooooooooo!!" 

"Jihyo open uppp pleaaaseeeeeeeee." 

"Coming, coming! Geez stop whining will ya?" 

A wide-eyed brunette yelled as she rushed out from the bathroom to open up the door, not even bothered by the fact that she's still wrapped in a white fluffy towel with a dripping wet hair. Jihyo doesn't mind since she knows who's behind her apartment door and it's no other than her best friend, Kim Dahyun.

"Dah--"

The brunette didn't get to finish her sentence because the younger one already tackled her when a flash of lightning came in view through Jihyo's apartment window followed by its angry sound which results to the both of them falling on the 
floor with a teary-eyed Dahyun on top. 

"God, Dahyun it's been 3 years! You're still afraid of the thunder?" The brunette says amusingly. 

"Shut up Jihyo and It's freezing cold how come you still have the audacity to take a bath?!" Dahyun retorts, getting off from the older and offered her hand in which Jihyo took, muttering a sarcastic 'oh well thank you' after. 

"The cold doesn't bother me anyway." Jihyo sassily said, copying that of a Disney Princess' line and act. 

Dahyun managed to throw off a playful snort at this, 

"Whatever, you can have the kitchen. I know you're itching for a cup of ramen, let me just put on some clothes." The younger just nodded as she watched the older's back disappear when the brunette took the left turn towards her bedroom. 

Dahyun can't help but grin, her best friend knew her so well. It's been what? 7 years since she met the thomas. Dahyun always thought that destiny brought them together. They always bump into each other,  it went on for about 3 months until Dahyun, being a ball of socialite she is, took the first move into getting to know Jihyo more. 

The ash-blonde tofu was enjoying her ramen when Jihyo came in the kitchen wearing a set of comfortable clothes, black sweatpants and an oversized white hoodie. 

"Ah!" Dahyun jumped in surprise when the crashing sound of thunder took over the kitchen's silence. 

"Seriously. Your unit is just right next to mine, you could've just called me Dahyun-ah." Jihyo motherly said, look of concern evident in her face. Sure Jihyo can be really strict with Dahyun most of the times and sure she would always get annoyed with the younger causing her to scold the tofu countless of times but that all can't change the fact that she's still Jihyo's best friend, the one who's been there with her when Jihyo almost broke, stayed with her until she recovered so in return, Jihyo's willing to stay in Dahyun's side for as long as she can even if the younger gets on her nerves all the time.

"Nononono, I like here better." Dahyun briefly explained and slurped her ramen. 

"Oh by the way, are you free next week?" Jihyo asked.

Dahyun stopped eating her ramen and placed a finger below her chin, a habit she developed in which Jihyo finds it very adorable. 

"I don't have a shift on Friday." Dahyun said.

"Perfect! I'm holding a small celebration for our maknae who got her team into the championship. She's indeed a great player." Jihyo proudly said.

"Ah! You meant that Basketball Night Sport, Tzuyu's in? Really? Woah I knew she would nail it! Tzuyu's like the tallest out of all of us plus her eyesight in the darkness is incredible!" Dahyun concured with her.
