CHAPTER  51: THE THING THAT HE DID NOT KNOW

“ Is she’s going to be okay doctor?” Sho asked once again to confirm from the man who wore white coat. The man smiled and nodded softly, while Maki was still her large belly. The feeling of being afraid and also scared few hours ago now replaced with relief.

Baby....don’t scare mummy again.....She whispered within her heart.

                Sho exhaled his breath knowing the pregnant woman was now safe. It had been a hell things for him when Maki fainted within his arms. It became worst when panic came to him, making he nearly ran like a mad man to the nearest hospital while carrying her. All the thought of being discovered by fans and reporters he shoved it far away.

“Is it the first time for you to experience the painful feeling?” The doctor asked Maki who was leaning on the bed. She nodded softly. The doctor just nodded while writing something on the file.

“Is it dangerous? Is my baby really okay?” Maki chan asked the question. The worries were still swarming within her heart. Afraid of losing the baby, she it softly and the baby moved inside her.

“For now, it is not dangerous. The baby is fine too. However, if this thing happened once again, accompanied with pains and blood, you must come to the hospital immediately. Don’t wait, and please check with doctor immediately. We are afraid that you might face premature labour or other sickness that we did not know. So, make sure you keep on track with your doctor on your pregnancy. ” The man in white coat adviced her. Maki nodded fast understanding what the man had said.

“Trying not to leave her alone in these last two months, luck would not always been in our side. So, it’s better to take pre caution rather than facing any difficulties later, “ he said to Sho who sat next to him.

“ Oh...really? I will take note on that one.” He said while looking back at Maki. Deep inside his heart, he felt somehow grateful when he accompanied Maki to Tokyo. If he did not, he would regret forever if anything happen to Maki.

                Thinking again, now he knew how does he felt without Maki around him. The thought made his heart squeezed painfully, thinking he had to go through his life without her. Even the incident that happened just now, already made him like a mad person. He thought she’s going to die, seeing her limping within his arms, with her pale face and cold bodies. And how her condition scared him most. Scared of losing her forever. Sighing softly, Sho looked at Maki who never stopped talking with doctor. Her pale face that filled in her face was not replaced with colours. Even, the smile was already plastered on her face. He wished that he could always see it on her face.

“She can go back today after the glucose finish,” The doctor patted on his shoulder making Sho startled a bit. Nodding it fast, he stood up and bow.

“Thank you doctor,” The old man just smiled. Maki too, said the same words toward the man.

“Just take good care of her...” he said before the man went out with his nurse. Sho raised his eyebrows, aware what the doctor meant about. Slowly, he turned and started to sit down next to Maki. Her round eyes met with his dark ones.

“You are okay?”His voice soft and at the same time he hold Maki’s hands. She nodded fast and looked at her tummy.

“I’m so scared of losing him...if it is not because of you bringing me to the hospital, I don’t know what would happen to me,” she said while squeezing his big hands. Sho shook his head and stared at her.

“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to you and your baby. You heard what the doctor said just now, aren’t you. Thank god I accompany you here. If you come here alone, I don’t what would happen to you. I will regret it forever,” His eyes showed the sincerity of his words when he said it.

“Thank you....”

“It’s okay, just promised me Maki chan, please bring anyone when you want to go out. Don’t go out alone in this kind of condition. I don’t know what would happen if you go out alone, just promised me that, will you?” he asked her, trying to confirm from her. Maki chan nodded fast and smiled at him. While Sho exhaled his relief breath.

“Sho kun....” Maki called his name once again.

“What is it? Is the pain came once again? “ Panic was all over his face and his body stiff, as his eyes searched all over her face. Maki shook her head and pouted.

“I’m  so hungry....” she made face and this made Sho smiled.

“Oh...I totally forgot that you haven’t eat lunch. I will go out and buy something for you. What do you want?” Instantly, her eyes filled with sparkle and her face was bright once again.

“ Really? Then buy me melon bread, and then I wanted yakitori and hot chocolate. And buy me some dumpling from the konbini too, Okay?” Sho laughed hearing the list and he couldn’t help but pinched on her cheeks.
