CHAPTER 46: THE CONCERN MAN

“That’s the name of the baby’s father,” A voice said behind him. At that moment, he turned his head and found out a pale skin man smiled at him. 

“The....baby’s father name?” Immediately Sho turned his gaze and looked back at the teddy bear’s tag. Tomo is the name of the baby’s father.  His gut instantly turned into a tight knot within his chest, thinking of whoever man who have name Tomo in Maki’s life. Then something flashed into his mind.

“ Is it Toma Ikuta?” His head snapped looking at the man who was now sitting in front of him. Jae shook his head softly and smiled back toward him.

“No...it is not Ikuta san, Sakurai san. Oh, by the way, I’m Jae. Nice to meet you,” He shook his hand with Sho.

“You are....?” Jae chuckled softly while staring back at the man in front of him.

“I’m Hara san’s neighbour.” He replied it short. But the, when Sho’s eyebrow creased together, he nearly remembered something.

“Ah...sorry, I mean Hara san is Maki chan,” Sho nodded his head. Then, his eyes fixed on the teddy bear’s back.

“How did you know that Tomo is the father’s baby?” Sho asked while looking at the teddy bear after being silence for a long time. Inside his mind, many of Maki’s male friends appeared inside his head, but none of them fit the name Tomo. Feeling defeated, that’s why he asked the man question.

“ She told me about it, “ Jae said as he leaned his hand on the floor.

“She did?” Sho pinned him with shock face.

“Well....it is not like she directly confessed to me about the father, but I tricked her to say his name. And it worked on her.” Jae smiled widely, remembering the memory where he made Maki confessed the name of the baby’s father accidently.

“You are thinking about him, aren’t you?” Maki was surprised and her eyes met with Jae’s.

“No, I’m not!!!”She looked aside and her gaze fall on the teddy bear across her room. The memory of him came over at once.

“Hmphh...not thinking of him? Liar! Every time you pouted like that for a long time and biting your lips, it seemed that your thought was on the man, am I correct? Now, tell me Hara san, you love the man right? The man who is the father of your baby?” Jae asked again. His hands tugged at her sleeve and pulled it softly, trying to get her talk about it. Her head just shook slightly. Her heart felt confused and her mind was messy.

 “Don’t lie...I know that you love him,” Anger started to rise within her. The man was so persistent. She knew it too. Just like how he knew her last few months on her behaviour, same with her, knew his in detail. When it came to certain things, he will be stubborn, and firm with his opinion, even though he was offered with many kind of things.

“No!!” Jae smirked and laughed evilly.

“ Such a big liar!! I know you love him Hara san!! “When Jae tugged again her sleeve, her anger snapped immediately. She was unable to control it.
