CHAPTER 49: THE DATE THAT THE TWO OF THEM HAVE

“Yamapi....I think I fall in love with you...”The word rang once again inside his head. Yamapi sniffed his nose a little bit, thinking about the sudden confession from the beautiful actress at the bar last two days. Even, it happened in front of his best buddy, Toma.

                After her sudden confession, he did not know how to reply toward her. It was too sudden. Plus, he did not have that special feeling like what she had toward him. Groaning softly, Yamapi leaned against the sofa and put his arm over his head. Maki’s vision appeared on his eyes, with her smile on her face. All of sudden, he missed her so much. Despite the woman’s denial on their sharing night and she is now belong to Sakurai Sho, it never gave him the feeling to give up on her. Even, it made him to snatch her away from his sempai. The thought somehow pleasing him.

“Maybe you should forget about Maki chan, Pi. Find new love...” Ryo said toward him when they hanged out together last Friday night. Yamapi scoffed his words.

“What are you saying, Ryo. I...”

“Don’t lie Pi, I know you. All of us know about your feeling. Since you broke up with her last four years, you never stopped loving her. Keep following her news even when you are doing concerts outside of Japan. You said that it is not love?” He snarled at him, feeling angry toward the man who never admitted his true feeling toward the woman. Then, slowly, he calmed himself and inhaled the air, trying to get back his composure.

“Maki chan is already going her way, Pi, with someone else. Whereas, you....you are still stuck at the past. You too, should carry on yourself just like her, with someone else. Someone that loves you, Pi. Someone that would make you much happier than her.” Ryo said while patting on his back.

                Yamapi stared at the ceiling for a long time, thinking what Osaka man said to him. After for a while, he grabbed the phone and started to call.

“Keiko....let’s date!” he said when the person that he called pick up the phone.

“ What are you doing Kuroki Meisa!! What are you doing!! This is extremely insane!” Meisa whispered inside her heart while stabbing the steak inside her plate. Her anger was at the top notch, thinking on what she did. Why on the earth she had to waste her weekend with this non productive ways!!!

“Are you imaging me on that steak Meisa?” the man in front of her, asked the questions toward her. Immediately, she glared at the owner of the husky voice, who have sarcasm note within his words. Toma’s brown eyes, met with her black ones.

“Yes!!! Oh... I wish this is you and I could not help but stabbing at you and slicing you to death!!!” she hissed the words.

But, what Meisa got was just a soft chuckle that gave her a very strange sommersoult within her stomach. Even, his grin tugged every vein within her heart, making her cheeks filled with scarlet pink. Her eyes immediately flew back toward her food that was on her plate. Since the day they shared the kiss, the passionate kiss, she never stopped dreaming about it. And how she really hate, hate it so much, that she felt like she wanted to kiss him once again, just like what he did toward her that day. Sighing softly, she stared back at the meat which looked unappealing after she stabbed it for a few times. Poor the innocent thing, became her place to let go of her anger.

This morning, the ring of the phone interrupted her sweet dream. Wait! Was it sweet or scary. Yup, she was dreaming of the man who sat in front of her. The one who was now chewing his food happily. Well, she dreamt all the time, but not all of her dream is about the man. What make it more pain was she dreamt the day where the two of them kiss. And, the longer the dream, the more passionate and intense the kiss become. Oh! How she hated it!!!

So, this morning, her sleep was being disturbed by the stupid call by the stupid man.

“ Hello.....” she answered the call unwillingly, Her face snuggled on her pillow while her hands tugging her blanket all over her.

“Me-i-sa chan~” The voice immediately snapped her to reality, making her blinking her eyes, a few times. Oh god, did the man came out from her dream just like that? She cleared for a while....but, nothing came out from .

“Moshi moshi~ meisa chan~ can you hear me? Or are you still sleeping, flooding you pillows with your saliva?” The voice in the phone rang once again. She thought she heard it wrongly, since she was dreaming about him. Groaning softly, Meisa ruffled her hairs, while yawning.

“What are you doing, Ikuta san! It is still early in the morning!!!” she turned her body and closed her eyes, hoping that the man’s voice was just a dream and it would fade away moment later. But it did not happen. The man’s soft laughed could be heard at the end of the phone.

“ Morning? What do you mean morning? Don’t say you are still sleeping, Meisa. It is nearly afternoon. Gosh...what kind of woman you are?” Hearing the man teasing words, making her anger rose instantly. Then, her eyes looked on the bedside table. The clock showed it was nearly eleven. No wonder the man was already disturbing her.

“So....why did you care? It is not like I’m sleeping on your bed!” Meisa said harshly.

“Well....I’m concern as an enemy here. If you fall sick, then my life would be lonely without you...” Meisa just scoffed hearing Toma’s cheesy words. Cheesy enough to make some other girls’ heart melt. Meisa remained silence as she started to stare at clock. Because of that man, now she could not back to sleep. Last night, she spent overnight, working on new photobooks. She just got back when the sun just crack at dawn. Sighing softly, she snuggled back on her pillow, trying to find the sleep mood that had been chasing away by that stupid aloof lanky man.

“Meisa....” She heard his voice once again. She pretended not to hear it, wishing the man would think that she already sleep back and put on the phone immediately.

“Meisa.....meisa....” A smile tugging on her lips, hearing the man said her name for a few times. Sometime, she could not help, but feeling happy in some part of her heart when she fought with Toma. The man somehow gave her life something different that none other men could give. Something her heart felt comfort upon it. Frankly, it was so strange when she found it within Toma rather than other y and rich man that she used to date. Suddenly, Toma sang a song making she blinked for a few times. The song was clear
