CHAPTER 32: THE SHOCKING TRUTH

                For the one whole month, Toma stopped meeting Meisa, after that unforgettable incident in her dressing room. Just because he needed to know Maki’s whereabout, He got a very nice slap on his cheeks since he admitted to Meisa that he did something wrong with Maki. So, he planned for something else, something that is better than meeting Meisa every day. Though he quit meeting her, but he never stopped stalking her, but this time quietly. Well, it was effective since now he would be able to meet Maki.

                Toma had been informed by Meisa’s manager that she would be on holiday for the whole weekend. The reason her manager co-operated with him because she thought Toma was in love with Meisa and tried to court her. That made him won in this situation. Since early in the morning, he waited Meisa outside of her apartment and followed her to the place that he never knew. When he discovered the place, he thought maybe he assumed wrongly, that Meisa went to meet Maki. He was nearly gave up till he saw her, in that strange outfit. Seriously, Toma needed to rub his eyes a few times to conform everything that he saw was correct. But, indeed, his instinct told him that the woman who walked with Meisa was Maki. His Maki. So, he went back along with them, without they knew he stalked them until at home.

                Now, he was standing in front of her apartment door, he could hear her soft giggle inside with Maki. Seriously, he did not know why, his heart accelerated very fast and his hands were damp sweat. Maybe, due to his confession in front of Yamapi made Toma alert himself that he was now going to face the person that he love. Gaining his courage, he knocked the door a few times. But to his disappointment, it was not Maki who welcomed him, but the woman who slapped her on the face. Her face potrayed the shockness and also angriness. At first, he was taken back by her lie and also angriness. But, when Maki’s voice could be hear through the door, immediately, he pushed her aside and went into the house. Finally, he could meet her after long months.

“ Maki-chan!!!” Toma smile widely as he looked at the back of woman, who was holding a knife at the kitchen. His heart leapt in joy the back of her. Slowly, she turned around and looked at Toma. Smiling widely, Toma called her again. But his words died immediately as he noticed something strange. Really strange. Blood rushed to his face as he noticed the difference on Maki.

“ Toma kun,” Maki said his name softly. Her hands clasped tightly, knowing that her secret was no longer can be kept anymore. Her round eyes became wider, as the beats of her heart accelerated faster than usual.

“Ikuta san, it is better that you go back home,” Meisa stood in front of him, hiding Maki behind her back. She knew, Maki was still unable to face the people that she knew right now. Not when she was in that condition.
