A 12h flight to Paris, 5 Pieces is flying in style – they get their private plane. They are giggling the first thirty minutes from getting on the private plane to when they are in the air. They watch movies, they sleep, they chat, and then sleep some more. They land in Paris during the day, leaving the airport and heading straight to the hotel. Most of the time in the van, Hannah is checking her phone. She is spacing out, then checking her phone again. “We are going to check-in first,” Manager Park is saying from the front seat of the van, “You’ll get an hour or so to settle in before we go for some lunch and… you wanted to go shopping, right?” “That’s right!” Maria cheers from the very back. She laughs for startling Hannah and Carolina. “A lot of shopping, Oppa.” “Right…” Manager Park nods his head, looking at his tablet. “Don’t be so serious,” Maria points out at him, “We’ve got the entire day to do whatever and tomorrow we’ll glam up. So don’t sweat it.” Their manager sighs and closes the tablet to look out the window. for Hannah, she checks her phone again, finally getting a text from Jonghyun. She had let him know they have landed in Paris and asked what he is doing and it has taken too long for him to respond. Jonghyun writes that he is getting some rest, then writes again to ask if she is heading to the hotel or if they have other plans. She is writing with him until they reach the hotel. The ladies are chattering when checking in at the hotel, getting their keys and asking why they are getting separate rooms. They always get that when the ladies aren’t quick to say they want to share rooms, and now when heading to the elevator they are laughing and joking when blaming each other for not handling the room order. Carolina even hugs on to Julia’s arm and says she will come share room with her, just to have Maria ask why she isn’t chosen. All of them are on the same floor, the entire floor for 5 Pieces and their crew of stylists and managers, as well as the guards. Two guards in the corridor, two guards went up the elevator with them and two more are taking another elevator with the stylists. Hannah checks the numbers on the doors before finding her room, pausing to check where everyone else goes. She smiles when Julia does the same thing across the corridor. “See you in an hour!” Emelia calls out before getting inside her room. “See you soon!” Hannah joins in. She gets inside her room, the door closes and she puts the key in its pocket on the wall to lighten up the room and with one shoe off, she notices a bag further inside the room. The thought of that she has entered the wrong room somehow changes when seeing who comes around the corner. A loud shriek leaps out of her as she dashes up to her husband, laughing when throwing her arms around him and hugging him as tight as she can as they fall onto the bed. Jonghyun is laughing in her ear. As if making sure he is there, or just out of happiness he is here in Paris, Hannah kisses him on the neck and on the chest, breathing in the smell of Jonghyun. She kisses his neck again and then his cheek before moving her arms to each side of his face to look down at him, her smile so wide she can barely see anything. “What are you doing here?” Hannah asks in a low giggle. “Do you like the surprise?” Jonghyun teases, holding her tighter. Their faces are so close that their noses are almost touching. “You’re supposed to be at home.” “I changed my mind,” Jonghyun whispers. “I went straight from Japan to get here. Maria helped me out, I even had two of your guards picking me up at the airport along with the Australian manager.” Hannah giggles, pecking his lips. “I love you.” He groans happily, smiling and closing his eyes briefly at her words. Jonghyun had told Hannah the plans had changed, so he would stay in Japan for a bit longer, meaning they haven’t seen each other for several days. She was upset to not see him before she went to Paris. Meanwhile, Jonghyun planned this surprise with Maria, saying he doesn’t want a few hours with Hannah in Seoul before she leaves and instead decided to come all the way here to spend more time together. “I missed you, Nabi,” Jonghyun lets her know.   Two hours later, they are sitting in a restaurant waiting for their food. Hannah and Jonghyun sitting together by the wall. Hannah has held on to him tightly since leaving the hotel, still settling with the fact that he came here to be with her. She likes it. It surprised her a lot and her friends are joking around, Maria sharing how Jonghyun called her with the idea and asking if Hannah would get upset – since Hannah doesn’t like surprises. Hannah lets go of her husband when their food arrives. Pizza, pasta, meat and stripes. Hannah has a plate of pasta carbonara in front of her, her absolute favourite that she knows she likes no matter what country she goes to. Those around the table share food, a fork aiming for her pasta out of nowhere and a fork with a piece of meat travels over the table. Hannah sticks to her pasta though, not wanting anything else. They talk about where they want to go. Maria has three stores she wants to check out, Carolina has a vintage record store she wants to visit, the others just say they can tag along. Hannah isn’t here for the shopping, she just likes to hang out with her friends. and her friends likes to shop. Two stores are what they get through before there is a growing crowd on the street. Someone had spotted them, shared on Twitter or with friends, and more of them showed up. The guards get to do their job by telling everyone to keep their distance when the members of 5 Pieces go from one store to another. Five minutes in that store and Hannah ends up sitting in a sofa on the second floor, exhausted and completely uninterested in the clothes her friends are looking at. The ladies are downstairs for the women’s clothes, while Jonghyun is upstairs checking the men’s section. Emelia is coming upstairs to look through things as well, and also looking out the huge floor-to-ceiling windows to see the fans outside on the street. “Do you find anything?” Emelia wonders when slowly walking over to Jonghyun, checking the clothes on display. “I want to try this,” Jonghyun answers and holds up a jacket, giving both Emelia and Hannah a glance. “Go for it,” Emelia nods. “Hannah, you should be more supportive to us checking clothes.” Hannah groans tiredly, leaning back in her seat. “I’m here, aren’t I?” Her husband smiles at her. No one is wearing matching clothes today. Hannah is in black pants, a black t-shirt and a long beige cardigan, and a Gucci shoulder bag. Jonghyun is also dressed in black from top to toe, a cap and a winter jacket. Emelia is dressed in a blue beanie, a yellow sweater with patterns on it and leather pants, looking like she is going to some dark street to fight random kids over candy. Downstairs, Maria is layered in clothes, even her scarf is long and in different colours, making her plain white sneakers seem simple compared to the rest of her outfit – she is covered in clothes to stay warm as she felt cold after the flight. Julia is in washed out jeans and a vintage t-shirt, a winter jacket on top of it but underneath looking cold. She said it works as they will be either indoors or in the car. For Carolina, she is wearing glasses to her short haircut, wearing tights to a cute A-line skirt in black, a white t-shirt, fancy scarf and a blazer. Carolina looks like she has focused the most on what she is wearing, but she also said when packing her bag that Paris is a city of fashion, so she needs to dress well. She also thinks her librarian style suits Paris well. Fifteen minutes passes and Hannah is still sitting on the bench, checking Instagram and looking at her friends. Julia has just come up to the second floor, checking on a shirt she considers trying and getting distracted when seeing what Emelia has picked up. Jonghyun is on the phone for a few minutes before coming over to Hannah, holding the phone out to her. She looks confused until she sees the display; it’s Jonghyun’s mother. With a smile, she takes the phone to her ear to talk to his mother. Jonghyun seems a bit nervous when sticking around, watching Hannah as he tries to figure out what they are talking about. Besides from what Hannah says, all he sees is her smiling while talking to Jonghyun’s mother. She wants to know how her son is doing, what they are up to in Paris, how Hannah is doing – just random talk. She had called Jonghyun to talk to him but when knowing Hannah is also there, she couldn’t help but to ask to talk to her as well. As soon as she finishes the call, Jonghyun asks what his mother wanted. “She just talks,” Hannah answers, smiling sweetly up at him. “Making sure we’re eating and sleeping and having fun.” Jonghyun smiles back at her, making her giggle because of that loving gaze he gets. He touches her cheek lightly. “I’m going to go try this,” he then mentions to the clothes he is holding. Jonghyun lifts his arm for her to come along, having his arm around her shoulders once Hannah gets on her feet. “Be the judge for my runway,” Jonghyun jokes. While Jonghyun tries on his clothes and Hannah waiting outside, Manager Adrianna is holding the camera for Julia to capture a moment of shopping during 5 Pieces’ trip to Paris. Adrianna is fun when holding the camera. She held it briefly when they were at the restaurant too and she now films around the store to show where Julia is looking at clothes and where Maria is coming upstairs as well. The manager steps up next to Julia, filming her from her shoes to her head, talking in her Australian accent. “I see you have grabbed a few clothes, Miss Julia. Do you have a comment to the viewers about what you are looking for?” Julia gives her a glance, smiling at the funny question. “I’m not looking for anything in particular,” Julia answers in English to talk to the manager. “I’ve got some pants and a jacket, some shirts… But I need to try it on before I decide on whether I want it or not. Because … I never trust the sizes or the model without trying it first. Isn’t this cute?” Adrianna films the sweater Julia holds up. “It’s cute indeed.” Julia checks it out for a few seconds before picking it to her pile, giving the camera a smile with thin lips as if shopping is a sin. She walks by Adrianna since Maria asks if she has found anything; the ladies show each other what they have picked out. “This is cute though, don’t you think?” Julia asks Maria about the sweater. “Oversized and comfy, and the fabric is the best.” Maria nods, agreeing that it is cute but instead of saying it aloud, she instead says it is the kind of sweater Maria can borrow. “Buy your own,” Julia says with a grimace, almost wanting to hide her sweater. Maria shakes her head and sits down on the bench. “It’s too expensive to buy my own. We can share instead. You have it one month; I’ll have the other. It’s a win-win situation.” Julia turns to Adrianna to show she is rolling her eyes. “I’ll go try this,” Julia announces and leaves them to go to the fitting-rooms. “Keep the sweater, darling!” Maria calls out in a British accent. Though there is a lot of clothes they look through, there isn’t that much shopping. Emelia buys two pants, Julia buys three things, Maria buys two tops, then Carolina and Hannah doesn’t get anything and for Jonghyun, he buys a sweater. When heading to the next store, Maria is only there for a minute or two before she disappears. She goes with one of the guards to the store next door, a very fancy store with shoes. Maria’s eyes are glimmering when walking inside, glad to see there isn’t any customers in the store, so she gladly looks at the high heels at the display closest to the doors. The guard stays outside the door when Maria walks a bit further inside, though Manager Park comes inside to keep an eye on her. A saleswoman quietly crosses the store to come up to Maria, forcing out a smile. She says something in French, which Maria thinks means how can I help you. Maria gives her a smile. “Sorry, I don’t speak French,” Maria explains in English. “Ah,” the saleswoman realises and changes to a tad broken English; “Can I help you?” “No, no thank you. I’m just looking around,” Maria answers and gives another smile. The saleswoman follows Maria around for a bit, not saying anything but making Maria uncomfortable as she would want to look around at the shoes on her own. Maria picks up a pair of ankle boots, wide at the ankle and pretty from top to toe. She turns around with the shoe at hand, as she felt, the saleswoman is standing right there. “Do you have this in size 40?” Maria wonders. The saleswoman looks a bit doubting. “It’s a very expensive product,” she points out with her eyes at the shoe in Maria’s hand. Maria frowns at her. “Sure. Do you have it in size 40?” she repeats, wondering if they have a miscommunication. “Maybe you should try another store?” the saleswoman suggests with a really bad smile as she reaches for the shoe. “We are a very expensive store… I’m not sure we have anything for you in here.” To her surprise, Maria smiles. Maria feels stunned, looking over at her manager as if expecting to see this is a prank. Is there a hidden camera somewhere? “Uh, o
