A night out in Sweden. It ends with them being hurried out to the van waiting outside as there got too crowded with people wanting to have pictures with the trio of 5 Pieces. Hannah barely knows how they leave the club. Her mind is spinning and she is hugging on to Jonghyun from behind when they go to the van. She gets to sit with Jonghyun in the middle and a few minutes later, there is music blasting on Yong Hyun’s suggestion, and he is singing loudly with Maria. They are still in a party mood, some of them, having their bloods pumping from the loud music from the club and the alcohol they have been drinking. Hannah’s mood goes up and down. One minute she is hugging Jonghyun’s arm as if she is going to fall asleep and the next minute she is bouncing and singing along to a good song. Then she stops to hug on to Jonghyun again. Carolina doesn’t feel good. She isn’t a good drinker and she is sitting at the front, mumbling how she is feeling sick and if they can buy food. There is no food being bought when heading back to the hotel. Adrianna asks them all to get some good rest, drink a lot of water and take care of the hangover they will have in the morning. Carolina mumbles that she is already hungover, groaning in her seat. They take two trips in the elevator for everyone to reach their floor. Everyone is going to sleep. Hannah feels tired, but still drunk. She hugs on to Jonghyun’s arm when heading to their room, having him ask how she is feeling and hearing him say in an amused tone that she will get such a hangover tomorrow. Hannah knows that. She isn’t used to drinking either, and she has been taking a lot of shots tonight. Her world has been spinning for some time now. But her mind is on something else. They step inside the hotel room after saying goodnight to everyone else, taking their shoes off with the door closing behind them. Hannah gets out a sigh when her shoes are off, feeling Jonghyun hold her wrist to support her. She stands up straight with a giggle at him. “Did you have fun tonight?” she wonders in a low voice, moving her wrist to hold his arm. Jonghyun smiles down at her when Hannah steps up in front of him, closing the space between them. “It was fun. It’s been quite some time since I’ve seen you drunk.” “I’m completely wasted,” Hannah agrees and leans against him. “But it was fun. You looked like you had fun.” She stares at his lips, how he is smiling over how slowly she is moving and how obvious she is with what she wants. Jonghyun’s back is against the wall, still standing in the hall to their hotel room. His hands go to her waist when Hannah moves her hands up his shoulders, slowly going to touch his neck. Jonghyun blinks when feeling the nice sensation of her fingers in his hair. Hannah leans in to kiss him lightly on the lips. She tastes like alcohol. A soft kiss that slowly deepens. Hannah feels hungry. She moves up on her toes to get closer, her body pressing against his and her arms around his neck. Jonghyun kisses her back, his tongue grazes hers and his hands are firm on her hips. She missed this. The intimacy between them. To kiss and to touch, to forget everything else but the two of them. Hannah’s hands lower while they make out. His chest, down to his sides until she finds the belt and her fingers seeks for the middle to unclasp it. He murmurs in the kiss, tilting his head back and suddenly his hands are on her wrist. Hannah is spacing out at his face. He stopped her. “Wait…” Jonghyun says when gasping for air, his eyes up at the ceiling. Hannah feels confused. “Nabi… I… I can’t…” “Ah,” it hits her. Hannah lowers her head a bit to stare at his chest, her hands letting go of his belt. He hasn’t forgotten. She grimaces and leans her forehead against him, hearing Jonghyun apologize in his low, sweet voice. Seconds passes of them just standing there. Hannah lets it sink in. Does she feel disappointed? No… She takes a deep breath when sorting out her thoughts. She feels rejected. “Bathroom,” Hannah mumbles and leaves his side. “Nabi…” Jonghyun says after her. He doesn’t stop her as she is quickly by the bathroom, closing the door after her and locking it. Jonghyun groans, leaning back against the wall and taking his hands to his face. A low curse leaps through his lips. Hannah faces the mirror in the bathroom, staring at it while telling herself to not cry. She had to step away because her eyes were burning. Taking a few deep breaths, she turns on the water and uses the toilet before pacing for a bit to calm herself. Her mind is spinning and going wild with thoughts. She thinks of what to do when stepping out of the bathroom. To lie down in bed next to him, to sleep. She shakes her head and turns off the water. Her fingers fumble with the lock before stepping outside, seeing Jonghyun sit on the bed. She will cry if she stays in here. “I…” Hannah starts to say when heading to the hall. “I need to go… see someone. Don’t stay up.” Jonghyun doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t stop her from leaving. He knows it is an excuse, thinking she will go talk to the ladies for a bit before she comes back. He sits there, alone in the hotel room, waiting for her despite that she told him not to stay up. Minutes go by before he starts moving, to get changed and prepare for bed. His eyes keep glancing at his phone, at the time and to see if he gets a message. No message. For how long will she be gone? She won’t sleep somewhere else right? Jonghyun is sitting on the bed again, staring at the phone in his hand. He isn’t sure of what to do, if he should give her space or try to talk it through. But Hannah is drunk, he doesn’t even know if she will remember it if they talk. Fifteen minutes… twenty minutes go by before he calls her, just to be told by a voice that the phone is turned off. Jonghyun leaves the hotel room, not wanting the night to go by like this. He will go insane if he has to wait for her, without knowing how she is doing and what she is thinking. His first thought is that she went to see Maria, that she wanted to talk to someone. He knocks on the door, seeing a bodyguard down the corridor. Long seconds that feels like minutes before the door is opened. Maria is in her pyjamas; her makeup is off and she looks like she had already gone to bed. “Jonghyun?” she grumbles and rubs her eyes. “What’s up?” “Is Hannah here?” Maria yawns tiredly. “What? She’s not with you?” Maybe she went to see Emelia, Jonghyun thinks and is about to step away when Maria grabs his arm. She nods at him to come inside. “Did something happen?” Maria asks, going inside the hotel room. Julia is lying on her bed, looking like she is sleeping though Jonghyun can’t see her face. This room is messy. Clothes and other things a bit everywhere. Maria is going over to her own bed, to pick up her phone. He hesitates on what to answer. “I made her upset,” Jonghyun answers in a low voice, “She left and now her phone is turned off. I thought she came here.” Maria gives him a glance before writing on her phone. “I’ll ask if she is in the other room. Carolina might still be awake,” Maria says and sits down on her bed. After sending the message, she looks up at the worried man before her. “It seemed like everyone had a great night… what happened?” He stands by the wall to lean against something, hoping Carolina will answer quickly to say Hannah is there. “I… I let her down,” Jonghyun mumbles, grimacing by the memory. “I don’t know how much she has told you-” “Everything,” Maria simply says with a nod. “I think, at least, she has told me everything.” Jonghyun sighs and sinks down to the floor. “I’ve ruined our relationship,” he mumbles, spacing out. “Ever since… I did that, she has been walking on eggshells around me. I’m terrified she will leave me, Maria. I’m not the man she married. I’m… I-” “An idiot,” Maria interrupts him in a low voice. She sighs and sinks down from the bed to sit tailor in front of him. “You’re an idiot, Kim Jonghyun.” He looks down with a sob, knowing that already. “Hannah loves you,” Maria softly tells him. “Anyone can see that. And you know it too. Right now… it’s just… you’re both going through this. You in your way, and she as your wife. It’s not easy for either of you and it will take time, but Oppa, don’t give up, okay?” “You don’t think she will-” “Don’t worry,” Maria is quick to tell him. She reaches out to pat him on his foot. “Leave you is the question, right? Ya, for how long have we all known each other? Ten years. For ten years, the two of you have been oddly with each other and this won’t change it. You’re still the man she fell in love with and I hope she’s the woman you fell in love with. Just as you’re having your doubts on how things are, Hannah is having the same doubts.”   Hannah didn’t go to a hotel room. She was about to, but she walked past the rooms to go to the elevator instead. She didn’t feel like disturbing anyone and has ended up in the bar downstairs. There are only two other people at the bar, since it’s closing hours. A bodyguard is standing on the side (he followed Hannah) and the bartender who has been serving Hannah, and keeping the bar open a bit longer. It has been some time since Hannah came here and she is completely wasted. She has been talking to the bartender for a bit, resting her head on her arm as if she would fall asleep while asking about his life. His family, how he started working here, for how long – questioning him. Then she has asked about love and relationships and if the bartender ever had someone close to him commit suicide. He hasn’t. In sweatpants and shirt, Adrianna comes inside the bar. She glares up at the bodyguard who had texted her to let her know Hannah is wasted down here. With a sigh, she walks over to take a stand next to Hannah, putting a hand on the drunk lady’s back. “Hannah? Are you okay?” “Unnie…” Hannah mumbles and moves her hand out on the counter in an invitation. “Wanna drink?” Adrianna glances at the bartender, for a second about to ask him what Hannah just said before remembering he probably doesn’t speak Korean. “Hannah, let’s go upstairs,” Adrianna suggests, rubbing her hand on Hannah’s back. “No…” she mumbles and gives out a sob. She keeps talking in Korean, then mixes up words in Swedish. “I don’t know what to do… I don’t know what I need to do to help him, to make everything better. Is it even something I can do? Does he want me to help?” While she is talking in her mixed languages, Adrianna says she will call someone to help. She is nodding for herself when checking her phone, just about to write in a group chat for someone who speaks the same languages as Hannah and who might still be up to come help out, when the same chat gets another message. Maria is the one asking if Hannah is in someone’s room. Carolina hadn’t answered on 5 Pieces chatroom so Maria asks others if Hannah came there. “Sir, another one,” Hannah mumbles and shoves her glass across the counter. Adrianna is quick to look up. Even if Hannah just said those words in Japanese, the message is clear. Adrianna shakes her head at the bartender and puts the glass away from Hannah. “A glass of water, please,” she asks in English. The bartender nods and takes away the shot glass from the counter to prepare water. The manager writes in the chat that Hannah is in the bar and she asks if anyone can come help out since Hannah is speaking languages that Adrianna doesn’t speak. Emelia is quick to response, simply writing on my way. Adrianna returns to pat Hannah on the back, asking if they should go back to the room. When the glass of water is put on the counter, Adrianna tries to make Hannah drink it. Lucky for her, Hannah drinks all of it in one go. Her eyes can barely stay open, that’s how drunk she is. It takes a few minutes before footsteps approach. Adrianna has sat down next to Hannah, sighing over at Emelia who comes over to them. “She’s drunk?” Emelia asks in English. “Completely wasted,” Adrianna nods, glad to see that even though Emelia also has been drinking she seems fine. She is wearing a huge sweater to a pair of pyjama shorts, her long hair in a braid. “She has talked to me in Korean, I’ve got no idea of what she is saying.” Emelia gets up on Hannah’s other side, grabbing her friend’s arm to try pick her up. Hannah groans at it and pulls away, almost falling off the chair by the move. “Ya,” Emelia says in a warning tone, “Get your up, you drunkard.” “No…” “Get up,” Emelia mutters and grabs Hannah’s arm again. Hannah whines and lies her arms and head down on the counter. “I’m not going.” “Are you a kid? Get up.” “I’ll cry if I see him,” Hannah whines, already starting to sob. “I don’t want him to disappear. What if he disappears and leaves me all alone?” She starts crying anyway, crying the moment she speaks those words out loud and Emelia closes her eyes tiredly. Emelia understands what Adrianna means, and she is glad no one else came to help because Hannah mixes the languages she knows when she is drunk. Especially now. Mumbling the words that it is almost impossible to hear what she is saying. The more she drinks the more she mixes languages. Emelia knows the languages Hannah knows, making it easy for Emelia to know what the heck she is crying about. With a sigh, Emelia shoves her hands onto Hannah’s face to tilt it. “Ya,” Emelia roughly says in Korean, “Go cry in your own room and stop disturbing the people here. Let the rest of us go to sleep, alright?” Hannah’s lip is trembling from trying to not cry anymore, and she is quietly thinking of what Emelia just said. Her words might be rough, but the grip on Hannah’s face is kind. Emelia helps Hannah to sit up before she wipes her tears. “Come on,” Emelia says in a different tone, suddenly caring. But Hannah’s legs don’t work. She is almost pulled off the chair when Emelia thinks she is getting up, and Adrianna has to help them to not let Hannah fall to the floor. The bodyguard hurries over too, being the one to carry Hannah on his back. She makes these noises as they head to the elevator, making it sound like she is trying to sleep. At one point she apologizes in Japanese, saying she is drooling even though she isn’t. Hannah is hanging over the bodyguard’s back, sobbing on his shoulder and mumbling that he doesn’t feel like Jonghyun. Emelia only hears the mumble; she can hear Hannah say Jonghyun but she can’t hear anything else. Jonghyun, Jonghyun, Jonghyun. He is standing in the corridor, waiting outside Maria and Julia’s room. His heart pounds strongly when seeing them come out of the elevator, with Hannah hanging almost lifeless over the bodyguard. “She’s fine, she’s fine,” Emelia says when seeing Jonghyun’s expression. “Wasted but fine.” “I can take her,” Jonghyun says in English to the bodyguard, ready with his hands to catch her. Emelia helps Hannah to get down. Her legs give away but Jonghyun quickly puts her arms around him to help hold her up. Adrianna sighs, then smiles at Maria who is holding up the door to her room to see how it’s going. “Go back to bed,” Adrianna calmly says, “All of you.” Hannah can’t even stand up. Jonghyun almost carries her in to the room, telling her to wait for a bit since she keeps mumbling incoherently. Emelia helped him to hold the door up, but when he says he can handle the rest by himself, Emelia says she is only a call away. He puts Hannah down on the bed, k
