Sunday is a day of fitting, trying on outfits for up-coming [Pillow Fight] performances and promotions, as well as what to wear around New Year. Hannah starts off her day at Yong Hyun’s garage together with Maria. Manager Kim is with them and two guards as well, and their stylist Yong Hyun is busy walking back and forth as he is trying to help out both ladies at the same time. That is the first two hours, then they take a break and he focus only on Hannah after that, to take turns. Maria said that works perfectly, as she goes upstairs to the apartment where Yong Hyun lives, saying she will be on the phone with her girlfriend. “Julia is late,” Yong Hyun mumbles while checking the outfit Hannah is wearing. “Isn’t Carolina coming?” Hannah wonders. “She was here yesterday,” Yong Hyun lets her know. “Ah…” “She wanted the whole day free today,” Yong Hyun keeps saying and motions for her to spin around. “To have a date-day with her boyfriend.” “Everyone’s so busy,” Hannah whispers with a giggle. He smiles at that. “Not with work but with their loved ones. How all of you have grown,” he comments and stands up straight to pat her on the cheek. “Most of all you, magnae, who is married even. It is a bit sour to know, that you got married first and the others are still struggling.” “Who do you think will get married next?” Hannah asks him. She stands still when he picks up his camera to take a picture of the final look, of the outfit with accessories to remember how they decided it. Hannah then goes inside the dressing room (the corner with a drapery giving her privacy) to get changed at his command. “The next to get married… A wild guess would be Carolina, because she keeps surprising us all the time. First, she shows no interest in men, saying she likes women, then out of nowhere she has a boyfriend and it is all very weird.” Hannah agrees with that. Carolina is unpredictable, Emelia is single and so is Julia, while Maria is struggling with her relationship. Hannah gets to try a few more outfits, getting to see what matches, what looks good, if Yong Hyun need to do any changes. “Woah, did you see the pictures they took in Sweden?” Yong Hyun continues to talk about Carolina. “She sent the pictures to you too?” Hannah sounds surprised. Carolina had sent tons of couple pictures on 5 Pieces’ chat during her short trip to Sweden. Emelia is still there, now doing a photo shoot. “No. She showed the pictures to me yesterday,” Yong Hyun sighs. “She kept telling me ‘we are in love, this is love, we are so in love’ while going from picture to picture.” “She does that,” Hannah comments with a giggle. “I wonder if it’s to prove that they are in love,” Yong Hyun mumbles. “It’s her first relationship,” Hannah points out from behind the drapery, “I guess she wants to show that she is happy or something.” “Or rubbing it in Maria’s face,” Yong Hyun says, sighing again. “Their relationships are total opposites. One openly showing off and the other is hiding with her relationship. Honestly, I did not think Maria would be like this. When she was dating Yugyeom, she would giggle to her phone a lot and … she was smiling more.” Again, Hannah agrees. She is nodding her head when pulling the drapery to the side and right away, Yong Hyun is touching the clothes to make sure it fits correctly and makes a comment on the clothes when turning her around to the mirror. After a while, Julia shows up. She drove her on her own and she is in a good mood when coming inside, bringing a bunch of food with her that Manager Kim helps her set up on a table. Hannah gets changed into her own clothes and says she will go get Maria from upstairs. The others don’t seem to hear her but since no one else says they will bring Maria down, she takes a guess that they hear her but doesn’t respond to it. Yong Hyun’s apartment is simple, it’s clean and he has large paintings on the walls. It looks the same as it did four years ago, just a bigger TV is hanging on the wall. Though he has work in the remade garage and apartment above, he manages to separate the two as there aren’t any specific magazines or samples in the apartment that shows he works on his free-time. Well, he uses his tablet a lot, and he spends a lot of time downstairs. Hannah stops in the hall, looking around without moving her feet, listening as she can’t see Maria anywhere. Not a sound. “Maria?” Hannah asks in a normal tone, then again in a slightly louder voice; “Maria, are you here?” She steps inside when hearing something and after a few seconds, she calls out again. “Stop calling me!” Maria shouts from the bathroom. The door is closed, it’s even locked, and Hannah stands outside of it. She gives it a light knock. “Maria?” she asks. “Julia came with lunch, if you-” “ off. I’ll come down later,” Maria mutters from the other side. Hannah swallows, looking at the door as if it will explain why Maria would curse at her. Did she have another fight with Linnea? Hannah pouts and sighs, in a low voice saying they will save some food for Maria downstairs. She heads back downstairs by herself, letting the others know Maria will come later. Half an hour passes. Hannah chats with Jonghyun on the phone after eating and thinking a lot about Maria upstairs. If Hannah should bring the food a floor up just to make sure Maria eats or if she should go up and check on her and remind her of the food waiting. Once Yong Hyun says they are ready to try the next outfit, Hannah ends her call with Jonghyun and her mind wanders off to what accessories to match with the outfit she puts on. Julia is chatting away with their manager, relaxed and still eating the food slowly. Another outfit is completed. They take a picture of it and Hannah heads behind the drapery to change into her own clothes, as she is done for now. Jonghyun will come over soon as well, so Hannah keeps glancing at her phone in case he texts to say he is close. The door to the garage is opened and the first thought to Hannah is that Jonghyun is early. But the confused voices of worry from the others says it is someone else, and in the next second, the drapery to where Hannah is standing is moved. She is standing in her pants and bra, automatically covering her chest in surprise but Hannah gets more surprised to see Maria slink inside. The drapery shut behind her, and Maria embraces Hannah for a hug as soon as she is inside. She’s crying. “I’m sorry,” Maria cries on Hannah’s shoulder, hugging her tightly. Between her snivelling, Maria gets out the words; “I didn’t mean to say that to you.” Hannah doubts that is why Maria is crying. The surprise of Maria just barging in to hug her starts to disappear and Hannah puts her arms around Maria to comfort her. “It’s okay,” she whispers. Maria is wearing black pants to an oversized knitted top with long sleeves and a turtleneck, making it feel soft to hug her. Her friend keeps crying, apologizing again for being rude and truth to be told, Maria is rude from time to time. She can tell someone to off if she wants to be alone and no one among her friends gets offended by it. And Maria never apologizes for it. But at the same time, Maria rarely says it to Hannah for some reason. She can say it to pretty much anyone, but for some reason, she rarely speaks that way to Hannah. Hannah doesn’t know why that is, while for Maria, it is obvious. Hannah can get offended and she will step away without saying it hurt her feelings to be told off that way. Carolina did the same once. Maria cussed at her and Carolina’s whole expression changed, and she stepped away. Maria noticed it though and got upset when explaining that is how she talks, and Carolina should know that. Just this time, telling Hannah to off, was not intended to her. Anyone could’ve been on that side of the door and get the same response, and Maria would come to apologize once she has calmed down. The problem wasn’t that someone knocked on the bathroom’s door to inform Maria that there is lunch in the garage. The problem is the argument and continued fight she had with her girlfriend, which is why Maria apologizes for letting those emotions get out on someone else. The hug doesn’t seem to end soon and for as long as Maria is hugging Hannah tightly, the youngest is hugging her tightly back. It must be minutes they stand there. Hannah starts caressing Maria on the back while her friend can’t seem to stop crying. Maria must’ve cried more this year than in the past ten combined. Eventually, she seems to calm down. The grip around Hannah is loosened and Hannah loosens her grip as well. “Do you want to talk about it?” Hannah asks in a low mumble. Maria sighs, turning her head so Hannah can uncomfortably feel her friend breathe on her neck. “I don’t know how to make her happy,” Maria answers with a sob. “I’m sorry, Hannah, your shoulder is all wet.” “That’s okay,” Hannah lightly says with a smile. With a groan of exhaustion, Maria lets go of Hannah. Instead of stepping out, she sits down in the corner and Hannah blankly stands still, confused of what to do. Does she want to be alone? Does she want Hannah to sit next to her? “First she was upset because I was coming to Sweden over New Year, not to hang out with her but to work,” Maria starts saying and Hannah automatically squats down to listen. “And now she is upset because I can spend time with her after New Year but she says she already has plans that day. I don’t know what to do.” “Can’t she change her plans then?” Hannah wonders in a low voice, “Since you two rarely get the chance to meet?” “I said that too but she started yelling at me saying they are going to celebrate her friend’s birthday and they can’t just change it all because I’m coming. And,” Maria says, staring up at Hannah. She is all worked up. “And when I suggested I can come with her to the party, just because I want to spend time with her, she says no. why? Because it would be weird to have me, a celebrity, come to meet her friends. I’ve met her friends before, no one cared! It’s like I’m trying to come up with solutions and she just turns it all down… Ugh. It’s making me frustrated that she doesn’t seem like she wants to meet me even though we never get to meet.” Hannah nods, quietly listening to her friend. She sits down on her , looking down at her hands while Maria keeps complaining. Maria really likes this girl, she wants to work it out, but it feels like she is the only one trying. It feels horrible to see Maria like this, crying until her eyes are swollen when all she wants is to meet her girlfriend during their trip to Sweden in a few weeks. All Hannah can do is listen. She isn’t good at coming with advice or consoling others. Yong Hyun takes a glimpse inside, asking how they are and if there is anything he can do. He wants to keep working, though he doesn’t say that since Maria looks like she needs some more time to calm down. Even when Jonghyun comes, does Hannah stay behind the drapery with Maria. It takes time, but Maria has finally calmed down and she is ready to get some food. Julia is already trying clothes at that time and Yong Hyun puts his arms around Maria to give her some more comfort, telling her it will work out. Hannah can greet her husband, give him a hug and smile at him, asking if he has eaten. He had commented that there are a lot of cars outside, saying he thought the whole league was here though it’s just the guards and the ladies took different cars when coming here. “Jonghyun,” Yong Hyun says when coming out from helping Julia behind the drapery, “I still haven’t gotten a picture from your stylist what you’ll be wearing.” “Ah, yes,” Jonghyun gives an apologetic smile, “We haven’t decided just yet. I thought you’d already have some options for it?” For his concert, where Hannah will perform with him. They need to match their outfits and though Yong Hyun has stayed in touch with Jonghyun’s stylists, he has only gotten suggestions of what colours Jonghyun will be wearing on stage for their duet. The concert is in five days, so they should make the decision soon. Jonghyun is looking around at the clothes on the racks, then turning to Hannah with a smile when pointing out a dress. “Is this the one you wore in Hong Kong?” he asks. His smile turns into a smirk and he looks down at the golden dress she wore at MAMA and that got a lot of attention. Hannah steps up next to him, humming in response that it’s the one. “Ah, Hannah wants to wear it again,” Yong Hyun says from a distance, seeing what caught Jonghyun’s eyes. “It’s a beautiful piece and I admit it is a waste not to wear it again. But I’m not sure when she can wear it.” “She won’t wear it in Sweden then?” Jonghyun wonders. “No, too cold for that,” Yong Hyun answers. Jonghyun smiles at Hannah when taking out the dress to hold it in front of her. He never saw her wear it personally, he just saw pictures and videos. “What if you wear it at my concert?” Jonghyun wonders. Their eyes meet and he scoffs when seeing her blush. He puts it back. “Is that a bad idea?” Jonghyun asks her. “Do you want me to wear it?” Hannah asks, watching his face to see his expression. His expression says it all. He would love it if she would wear it. “I’ll wear it if it fits your outfit.” Jonghyun nods, trying to hold back his smile as he looks at other clothes. “Then it’s decided, Hyung,” he tells the stylist. “Are you sure?” Yong Hyun wonders and gives out a hum. “Won’t people talk about that?” “I like it,” Jonghyun says. “Alright then.” “I’ll tell my stylist about it, so I can match with a jacket or something,” Jonghyun says. Hannah follows after him, taking his arm to try lean forward so she can see his face. He is the one blushing now. Jonghyun hides his face by putting his arm around her, his chin on her head and saying it’s good they solved that easily. They are there for a bit longer. Hannah sits with Maria for a while, just to make sure her friend is alright, before Hannah and Jonghyun take their leave. She is coming along to his meeting and concert practice, since she will take part of the concert. There, they also talk to Jonghyun’s stylist and shows pictures from MAMA of how Hannah looked in the dress. They like it too.   The practice continues until late. Hannah finishes up first but she waits for Jonghyun to finish for them to leave together. She is sitting by a table with his stylists that are also working late, and they ask her of her opinion about a few things though Hannah says they should ask Jonghyun. Because they are married, the stylists think Hannah knows exactly what preferences Jonghyun has, though the stylists should know it better. In the end, Hannah is sitting with her feet up on the footrest on the table, her arms resting on the table with her head on top of it, tiredly waiting for Jonghyun’s practice to end. She holds on to her phone tightly, waiting for it to vibrate of Jonghyun asking where she is. He doesn’t text or call her though, because he got a picture sent from his stylist of Hannah in that position and the text ‘patiently waiting for her husband…’ and a teasing smiley. Jonghyun finds out where they are from his stylist and heads there. Both stylists are packing up when he arrives and Jonghyun sits down to smile at Hannah, who seems to actually have fallen asleep since she isn’t reacting to them packing up or Jonghyun’s voice when saying he will see them tomorrow. It gets quiet at the cafeteria they have been sitting in. no one else is there, and with the stylists leaving, it’s just Hannah and Jonghyun left. He sits next to her, watching her with his head on his hand. Minutes passes and Hannah doesn’t look up. Jonghyun takes out his hand, touching the end of her hair to move it from her arm to her back, smiling since she is still not reacting. He takes up his phone, not waking her up and taking his time to upload the picture the stylist sent him. He shares it on Instagram, not writing anything to it and for a few seconds before pressing the finished button, he wonders if people will even realise the one under all that hair and the big sweater is his wife. He puts down his phone on the table when he is done and he smiles when Hannah finally moves. She turns her head, the hair and arm covering her face and Jonghyun tilts his head to look at her. “Are you awake?” he wonders. All of a sudden, Hannah sits up. Jonghyun chuckles as she is blinking tiredly, realising she must’ve fallen asleep and she takes the hair out of her face. “Sorry for taking so long,” Jonghyun mumbles as he helps her take the hair out of her face. “Ugh,” Hannah groans and stretches her back, glancing around. Her eyes meet his and he keeps smiling warmly at her. “Should I call Nuna to say we can take the walk another time?” he wonders. She gets on her feet, shaking her head. Jonghyun laughs, since she acts like she does in the mornings; she doesn’t talk because she isn’t fully awake yet. But her body is moving. He wraps his arms around her to not let her walk away, looking up at her. “I won’t call. Just… wake up a bit before we leave, okay?” “I’m awake,” Hannah tiredly mumbles. She puts her arms around his neck and her forehead hits down on his head. She is too tired to be careful. “Your voice is really nice.” “Hm…” Jonghyun says. Hannah grimaces at that response. She lifts her head for her to look at him, still grimacing and Jonghyun has this soft expression when looking up at her too. His lips moves for a smile to spread and he puckers out his lips to get a kiss. She gives him a peck before saying they should get going before it gets all too late. “Nuna can wait,” Jonghyun says and puckers his lips again. She smiles back and hugs on to his neck when pressing her lips hardly against this. “Your Unnie is too kind to you,” Hannah says and puts her hands on his cheeks, staring at him. “Are you driving or am I driving?” “After having you sleep like this just now, I’m not sure you’re safe behind the steering wheel,” Jonghyun teases and gets on his feet. He gives her another kiss before saying they can leave. They had decided earlier today to go for a walk with Jonghyun’s sister and their dog, and even though it’s late, Sodam will probably be waiting for the call to say they are on their way. Jonghyun drives and Hannah sits next to him. She is in charge of making the call, letting Sodam know they just left, how long it will probably take and to dress warmly since it’s cold outside. Just as she hangs up, Emelia texts Hannah to ask why she is still at the agency. How she knows Hannah just was at the agency, Hannah doesn’t know, but it turns out Emelia saw the picture Jonghyun uploaded on Instagram. When finding out they are going for a walk, Emelia says she will come too. Jonghyun and Hannah parks the car outside his family house. Sodam is already waiting outside with Roo, happily greeting them both and putting her arms around Hannah for a hug before congratulating her for the awards she recently got. “What’s up with the matching outfits?” Sodam then asks, looking over at Jonghyun and then back at Hannah. “The agency bought it,” Hannah answers, looking down at the black winter jacket she is wearing. “It’s cute,” Sodam comments and waves for Jonghyun to come, for them to start walking. “Hannah, you said Emelia is coming too? Alone or is she bringing Milo?” “Uh, I don’t know actually… if she is bringing Milo or not. She just said she is coming and asked where to meet us.” “Nuna, aren’t you supposed to hug me too?” Jonghyun says when coming over to them, putting an arm around his sister to force a hug on her. She just laughs, saying it’s been a while since she saw Hannah, so she got a hug first. Hannah is smiling at the siblings while most of her focus is on Roo, who is happily trying to get Jonghyun’s attention. They start walking in the neighbourhood, ending up talking mostly about their dog, Roo. Adding in a bit about Tiger too. Jonghyun shows off a scratch on his hand that Tiger gave him, giving a long story about how he was playing with the cat and she was actually letting him play with her when Hannah wasn’t there before she out of nowhere attacked a bit roughly. Hannah is smiling widely at the story and Sodam ends up saying Tiger has opened up to him. “I know right?” Hannah giggles. Jonghyun glares at them both, thinking they are joking with him. “Scratching means she is opening up?” “Mm,” Hannah nods. “If she was playing with you, it means she has opened up. Hannah gets scratches too, because that’s how cats are,” Sodam explains and hugs on to her brother’s arm. “She’s finally starting to accept you, little brother.” They laugh at it, Hannah explaining further to Jonghyun that cats actually behave like that. They don’t get far before Jonghyun picks up a call, smiling over at Hannah when hearing who it is. “Oh, Emelia,” he says on the phone, seeing his sister and wife both frown at him. He has a teasing tone, looking at Hannah while talking to Emelia; “Yeah, she usually doesn’t pick up her phone, does she? Typical.” While he lets Emelia know where they are so she can meet up with them, Hannah picks up her phone just to confirm that she has two missed calls from Emelia. Their little group gets loud when Emelia joins them. Obviously not because of Emelia, but because she brings the dog Milo with her. At least that’s what they joke about since all three of them greets Milo first before saying anything to Emelia. They are out walking for quite some time. Chatting, playing around with the two dogs, Emelia complaining that its cold but the air is fresh outside, and out of nowhere they start dreaming of a weekend somewhere warm. Thailand, Bali, they come up with different ideas. Sodam and Emelia talks the most, telling Jonghyun to stop whenever he butts in that they would get sunburned, it would be too hot and whatnot. On the way back, they stop by a playground. Mostly because Emelia want to sit down for a bit, but also to stay out a bit longer. “Let’s play rock, paper, scissor and the loser has to go on the slide,” Jonghyun with a nod to the slide on the playground. Hannah starts shaking her head while Emelia says that would be fun. Sodam just laughs and takes out her fist, ready. “Really?” Hannah asks them. “Come on, it will be fun,” Sodam tells her. “Yeah, unless you’re scared you’ll lose?” Emelia teases. Jonghyun smiles happily and pulls in Hannah’s arm to get in their circle. “Hannah doesn’t fall for those things,” he tells Emelia. “But we’re doing it. It will be fun.” Hannah is grimacing when Jonghyun holds out her hand, shaping it like a fist. It’s like he forces her to join but since she doesn’t really pull away, she isn’t completely rejecting the game. Four hands in the middle as they chant; “If you don’t do it, you’ll lose, rock, paper, scissor!” Hannah stares at their hands for merely a second before Jonghyun says ‘rock’ and they all are quick to change the shape of their hand. Sodam gives out a cheer for getting out, pulling her hand away and Emelia says ‘rock’ for the last three to change their hands. Emelia then chuckles. It happens quickly and Hannah doesn’t even realise it until Jonghyun turns to face her with his hand. “Aah,” she whines as it’s just the two of them behind. He looks happy though, excited to see which one will lose. “Come on,” Jonghyun excites. He takes away his hand to do the chant again but just laughs when Hannah bounces away with a whine. “Don’t be a sore loser, Hannah,” Emelia teases. “Who knows, Jonghyun might lose, it’s not decided yet,” Sodam says from the seat next to Emelia. Jonghyun takes a step closer to her, bending his back slightly and asking if she is ready. With a grimace, Hannah pulls her fist behind her back. “If you don’t do it, you’ll lose, rock, paper, scissor!” Jonghyun chants and they throw out their hands. Hannah gasps when seeing she has taken out a paper and Jonghyun has a rock, but the same second she sees it, his hand spreads out in a paper. “YA!” Hannah shouts with a laugh. “Again,” Jonghyun giggles, holding out his hand at her, ready to do again. “No way, you lost.” “Don’t be a cheat, Jonghyun,” Sodam laughs too. Jonghyun keeps his focus on Hannah, showing one finger to ask for another try. She laughs as he steps up in front of her, as if blocking Sodam and Emelia from seeing he is trying to do another try. Hannah is shaking her head, laughing at her husband when he whispers for her to give him another chance. She is shaking her hands at him to step away, to go do his punishment while Jonghyun gently takes a hold of her hands, saying they can do another try. “You
