Hannah is standing in the corridor next to the stage at Music Bank. She can hear the voices of Puzzle that have walked in to take their seats for 5 Pieces’ pre-recording. They sound excited, voices that mostly belongs to female fans but a few times she thinks she can hear the deeper voices of male fans as well. The fans had been loud when waiting outside in the chilly morning weather, where they were singing, chatting, dancing, showing their excitement already this early. Though Hannah had barely been able to keep her eyes open an hour ago, she is now fully awake, both nervous and excited. As for her outfit, she is wearing a white lace blouse with hollow design. It is long-sleeved and goes up to her neck, tugged inside the high-waist skirt that also is white and it is short. If you look closely, you can see the white bra underneath the blouse and in case her skirt goes up, she is wearing safety shorts. The outfit shows off her figure and is secretly revealing with the lace and hollow design. Hannah wears sheer tights, her trick of keeping her legs looking alright and she is wearing heeled boots. It’s not much Halloween-themed for the outfit other than the ladies are all wearing white, but the stage has been Halloween-themed, and then it is their song and the lights on stage that will do it. Standing next to her is Maria. She is wearing a pair of wide pants in the same material as the top that is tied at the front, looking like a jumpsuit with cut-outs and a deep V-neck. The sleeves are wide, she has a simple necklace along with a colourful one, her lips are dark and her hair is big with curls. “Gosh, where is everyone?” Maria comments and looks down the corridor. They are waiting for the other ladies to arrive, but no one but dancers are spotted in the corridor, as well as a few staff members. Maria lifts her chin for makeup stylist Ji Yoon, who is doing some final touches before they are going up on the stage. Hannah holds out her hand to stop a staff member who was passing by. “Can we go up? Or do we have to wait?” The staff member looks a bit surprised to even be asked and nods when telling them to just go up if they want to wait on stage instead of here. Maria and Ji Yoon give Hannah a smile too, finding it silly that she asks a question with such an obvious answer when they have been working for nine years already. Hannah is nervous, she says when seeing the glance that they give her. Maria gives Hannah a good punch on the arm. “Let’s go, baby.” With confident steps, Maria walks out. “Ma-Maria!” a fan excitedly announces and the fans in the hall starts cheering. Maria raises her hands to excitedly cheer back at them and fans keeps cheering as Hannah jogs up behind the leader. Hannah is shyer at the loud greeting when their fans are standing so close, compared to Maria who seems like she wants to lean over to give everyone a high-five. A staff member shows them up on the stage and out of nowhere, Manager Lee is standing behind Hannah when she waits for Maria to head up first. Hannah turns around with big eyes, as she wasn’t expecting anyone to appear behind her and she smiles when seeing who it is. “I told you two to wait,” he mumbles for her. “You didn’t tell it to me,” Hannah says and smiles widely. He probably told Maria, and what is done is done. Hannah heads up the stairs to the stage and bows to their fans and their manager steps back while glancing at the fans still waving their hands. He waits for the other ladies to arrive. “Good morning!” Maria greets their fans. Hannah bows again at the greeting. “How the smudging fire can you be this energetic at such an hour?” Maria compliments Puzzle with an impressed voice. Hannah is more impressed by the ‘smudging fire’ she says, instead of saying ‘ing hell’ or something else, that she isn’t allowed to say. Fans are laughing at it too, but they say 5 Pieces makes them energetic. “Puzzle makes me energetic too, but you guys are just impossible.” Just as she says that, Carolina loudly walks inside while cheering and waving to their fans. She gets a thrilled response from Puzzle and Hannah is laughing at how happy everyone is. While everyone is gathering on the stage, Hannah is smiling out at their fans. Some are dressed for Halloween, which she has seen all week during 5 Pieces’ events. Everyone looks excited for the pre-recording. For 5 Pieces to be back. Eventually, they get ready to record. They talk through the microphones with their fans while getting in position and kindly asks Puzzle to behave – it’s Maria who says that for some reason. “It’s Halloween, don’t behave,” Emelia shakes her head. Someone tells them to be quiet and Hannah has to use every muscle in her face to not start laughing at that. Lucky for her, Julia burst out laughing and they can laugh for a minute before starting to film. “Don’t talk!” Maria tells Emelia when a staff member counts down. She suddenly points out at their fans. “Don’t laugh!” Hannah’s shoulders start shaking from holding in the laughter and she turns away as her whole face shows she is trying to not make a sound. The staff member stops counting and asks them to get ready. Maria laughs at Hannah’s bad attempt and hits her on the arm, but everyone starts laughing again. “It’s Emelia’s fault,” Julia blames the lady who told Puzzle to not behave. Manager Lim tells them from the side to get it together and the ladies have to get their hands together and give a cheer to get their focus straight. Then, they are finally able to start recording their performance. As soon as the first recording is done, they apologize to the staff for dragging out on it before checking the recording. They talk a bit to their fans before going back on stage to do it again. Puzzle is loud during the recording with their fan-chanting, they are loud the first recording, the second and for the third. Once the pre-recording gets approved as completed, Hannah claps her hands and bows to the staff before she stars waving her hands in the air to their fans. As soon as Puzzle notices they are done, they start cheering for the ladies. Julia reaches for the microphone she just gave to a staff member, to call to their fans; “Go somewhere warm after this, okay?!” “YEEEEEEEES!” Julia nods at the clear and loud agreement and Maria holds on to Julia’s hand to lean the microphone towards her instead; “Puzzle listens well. You’re good kids. Take care of your voices too, with all the screaming you’ve done!” “YEEEEEEES!” Puzzle nicely answers again. Hannah is smiling like crazy when they go backstage. It’s nice, being back on stage with 5 Pieces. “Puzzle is amazing!” Maria gives out a scream in the corridor, sounding like she is crying. Hannah turns around to make sure she isn’t actually crying, while Carolina leans her head back with a loud laugh.   From one place to another, 5 Pieces finishes up at Music Bank in the morning and heads to the first out of two fan-signings of the day. Wearing the same white clothes, they go to meet more fans for a more close-up connection. Just as the fans at Music Bank and how fans have been all week, the fans at the fan-signing are loud. They scream, they cheer, they call out their names from even before 5 Pieces appears on the small stage at the front of the hall and continues when the ladies have taken their seats behind the table. Once fans line up for the signing to begin, Hannah is in a daze. She is smiling constantly without knowing it, taking in as much as possible of what their fans say and she is completely unaware of that Manager Lee keeps looking over her for some unknown reason. While a lot of fans have dressed out for Halloween, there were disappointments that the ladies didn’t do it. Since the ladies have dressed for Halloween during the week’s events, the white outfits are apparently a disappointment to some. To that disappointment, Emelia coolly asked if the fans rather wants the ladies to leave if they aren’t happy with 5 Pieces’ appearance. Coolly and as a joke, and fans are quick to say they have to stay. “Maria!” a fan calls out from the crowd sitting down in the hall. Hannah is focused on signing the single in front of her, hearing fans in the distant call their names from time to time. Julia is talking in the microphone between the fans she signs for, asking a few questions and mentioning that Emelia (who is sitting next to her) kept murmuring things in the van earlier and explains that she was reading Puzzle’s comments to their [Insane] music video. “EMELIA!” a male fan roars out from way in the back, startling more than half of the people in the hall, including the ladies. “What?!” Emelia roars back without the microphone. Hannah leans back in her chair, laughing behind her hand at how Emelia’s voice is deeper than the male fan’s and Carolina glances at Hannah with a smile covering her face. The male fan calls out that he loves her and Emelia, out of the blue, pretends to shoot an arrow back at the fan. More fans are screaming at her action. Hannah keeps the smile printed on her face when leaning forward, greeting the next fan coming up in front of her. “Unnie,” the girl in front of Hannah says. Hannah glances up at how lowly the girl talks, just to see she is hiding behind her hand. “You’re pretty.” Seeing the fan is shy, Hannah reaches her hand out to take the fan’s hand in hers. “What did you say? I couldn’t hear you.” The fan is quick to hide her embarrassment behind her other hand and Hannah keeps smiling at her. “It’s okay,” Hannah tries to calm her, hugging the hand she is holding on to. “You’re pretty, Unnie,” the fan gets out of her and hides behind her hand again. “You’re pretty too,” Hannah giggles. “What’s your name?” She holds on to the girl’s hand while signing with the other, mostly because the girl is holding on to her tightly too. When the fan moves over to Carolina, Hannah leans against Carolina’s arm to keep smiling at the shy fan. She waits for Maria to finish talking to the next one in line, and Hannah has the time to wave over to the fans in the crowd too, before smiling up at the fan stepping up in front of her. A male fan this time, dressed as a ghost with a bloody sheet over him and a wig of long black hair. Maria had laughed and given him a high-five for the outfit, while for Hannah, she is giggling while signing the single for him. “Congratulations, Hannah,” the male fan cheers on her. Her smile fades just slightly as she cluelessly asks what he means with that. “Your comeback, congratulations. INSANE is a bop,” he says and cheerfully moves his hands in what is supposed to be a part of the choreography. It makes her laugh and thank him. She gives him a high-five when he moves on to Carolina. Fans keeps coming. Congratulating each lady for the comeback, handing over letters, expressing how much they have waited (some cries while saying it’s been too long since 5 Pieces stood on stage together) and so on. Seeing 5 Pieces together is what makes Puzzle happy, they say. Which makes the ladies say during a break that coming together as 5 Pieces like this again, is all worth it because it lets them see Puzzle. Towards the end of the fan-signing, Hannah hears her name being called from the crowd. One fan calls her name. once, twice, it takes a minute before her name is called again. The fan in front of Hannah is waiting for the fan talking to Carolina to move on. Hannah tries to talk to the girl at first, but seeing the fan is only focused on Carolina, Hannah leans to the side to see who keeps calling her name. “Hannah!” a female fan calls out. The same one that has kept calling her name, Hannah spots her. She smiles and turns to the next fan in line, just to hear her name being called out again. Emelia reaches for a microphone to playfully call out ‘Hannah’ in a strange whisper, making fans laugh. “Hannah!” “Whaaat?” Hannah asks while signing. She looks up at the fan in front of her, talking to her instead because the fan in the crowd just laughs and calls her name again. As if she can’t get enough of calling Hannah’s name, it continues for another minute before Hannah picks up the microphone and annoyingly asks what she wants. She laughs at it though, seeing how amused their fans are of playing around. “When are you having a baby?!” the female fan calls out next and Hannah is certain the shock is shown on her face at the question. “Ya,” Maria reacts after just a second, “How can a baby have a baby?” Fans are laughing and Hannah hides behind her hand, laughing out of embarrassment. “Do they want me to have kids?” she asks Maria behind her hand. “Puzzle has gone insane, indeed,” Maria tells her with a nod. “Hannah, you’re perfect!” a fan further in the back calls out. Hannah giggles and rests her arms on the table, picking up the microphone while hearing their fans start talking. Some are against her having kids while others says she is a grown married woman. Before Hannah says anything, Julia leans forward at Maria’s other side to look at Hannah, saying in the microphone; “Your kid would have a lot of aunts and uncles.” “Why are you joining them?” Hannah laughs. Julia smiles at their fans, asking if they look forward to the day when 5 Pieces have kids, just to see how pretty they would be. “Besides from Carolina’s,” Emelia mumbles in the microphone. She gives an evil smirk to the fans before smirking over at Carolina, who gets up from her chair and say her future kid will be the best among all of theirs. “Puzzle,” Maria starts to say in the microphone, not bothered with her two friends arguing without the microphones from two ends of the long table. “We’re growing together. We’re graduating together, we’re getting jobs together, going in and out of love – our lives are shared. It’s beautiful.” Emelia turns her teasing to Maria, asking why she is so sentimental and fans are both laughing at it and agreeing with her. “We met a fan the other day who brought her kid to the event,” Maria keeps saying to their fans. “It’s really nice that we’ve spent almost ten years together.” She turns to Hannah, putting a hand on her shoulder and nodding her head. “Bring your future baby to events too.” “Wha-” Hannah starts but ends up laughing at fans’ reaction. Hannah hides her face in her arms on the table. Carolina is laughing too, knowing they are just joking around. The best part is that fans doesn’t seem to dislike the thought of 5 Pieces’ becoming mothers in the future. “Hold on, everybody. Who says I will have kids first? There is no-” “I know, I know,” Maria says in a baby-voice, caressing Hannah on the head and every fan in the hall seems to laugh while Hannah stares out at them. They chose Hannah since she is the o
