When I was about to open the door of my house, it opened itself and I was embraced by Alice.

“I see you missed me.” I forced a smile and return the hug.

“Shall we get Tori?" I nodded.

"I'll just leave my backpack in the room." She let me through and I went upstairs. Upon arriving in the room, I left my backpack in a corner and went down again. I held Alice's hand that was already ready near the door and put my other hand in my pocket hoping to find my phone.

“You left it in your locker.”

"Ali, we have to go to my school. I forgot my cell phone in my locker." She nodded and we began to walk in silence.

"Does it hurt?" I didn’t know what she was talking until I saw her eyes staring at my hands.

“Just a little. You don’t need to feel guilty." I saw in her eyes the guilt she felt. "I would do it all over again to make you safe." I gave her a smile and her face brightened with joy.

“Are you fine? You seem a little off.”

“I’m fine.” I smiled. "Of course everything is. I just met three of the most important people for me and I just saw the love my life. They had several reactions! Two were surprised, the other acted normally, but this one I think just acted like that because there were people watching him and the last one was confused, but none of the four recognized me as if I had been erased of his memories.- Obviously I only thought the last part and suddenly tears formed in my eyes when I realized that this was the reality. Somehow all the memories that we made, the bond of friendship and love that we created and the family that we turned into, everything disappeared in one night. I didn’t let a tear slip from my eyes and I made sure to control myself because I don’t want Alice to worry about me by seeing me crying.

I had already had my cell phone and now I was running down the deserted corridor of the school behind Ali who was laughing immensely.

"That's not it!" I shouted and she laughed.

"It’s not my fault if you're not fast enough." Just because of the teasing, I increased the speed that was medium just to pass by and to take that cynical smile out of her face.

"That's not fair!" she said breathlessly. Obviously I got first to the tree in the middle of the school garden and Ali didn’t want to admit that I won.

"It’s not my fault if you're not fast enough." I repeated the phrase she said a few minutes ago and smiled cynically. My smile disappeared as I looked over her shoulder as I was sitting and saw two figures, which I know very well, running at human speed towards us and I felt my face lose color.

They'll think I kidnapped her!

And believe me! It’s not nice to see Hoseok angry! They always say that quieter people are the worst when they are angry and this is the case of Hoseok.

Because of my pallor and my icy gaze, Alice turned and let out a cry of joy when she saw her father before running up to him. Hoseok stopped running, got down on his knees and opened his arms, which immediately wrapped his daughter in a tight embrace. The scene was so sweet because it reminded me of those videos on YouTube where the father, who is a soldier or works in the navy, rejoins the children after months on a mission. I could hear Alice's cry of happiness, but my gray eyes were busy fighting a battle with Arabella's blue eyes.

"I think we'd better go!"

"I will not look away," I said firmly.

"What were you doing with my niece?" Her expression was serious and her voice sounded arrogantly. I hate it when they're rude to me for no reason. There is only one person that I admit to treat me like this, but only because I treat it the same way.

"She helped me, Aunt Ara." Her eyes drifted from mine to look at Alice, who was still in Hoseok's arms.

I just turned around and started walking. This moment was theirs and I felt like an intruder.

"Intruder?"

"For them I'm just a stranger who probably kidnapped Alice." I replied bitterly and thought that we had spent more than a year in the same house. A hand on my shoulder prevented me from continuing my way to the bus stop. I stared at Hoseok who was smiling kindly and because of the respect I have for him I returned the smile.

“You helped my daughter. This is something for which I will forever be grateful. Let me show my gratitude in some way.”

"You don’t have to. I would never leave a child on the street especially in the middle of the night knowing that she has a family that loves her." Alice was talking to Ara smiling happily.

"It's not worth trying to refuse his offer. When he puts something in his head, nothing and nobody will stop him from doing so." Ara approached us with Alice.

"I have to go get my little sister so I can’t have dinner at your house." I tried to argue using Vicky as an argument.

"I haven’t even mentioned a dinner, but good idea. We're bycar, so we can take you to your sister's school and then we go straight to our house. " he already had everything planned and I know I can’t escape.

I sighed and I nodded. Hobi grinned and asked me to follow him. We got into a black Mercedes -I was in the back with Ali and Ara ahead with Hoseok- and he started the engine.

"So what's your name?" That simple question was able to make one more wound in my heart battered by memories.

"Park Mina and you,sir?"

Why am I hating treating Hobi as a stranger?
