I heard the sound of car engine drifting away. Yoongi and I were left alone in front of my house. I didn't say any word ever since we had entered the car. I was still in Yoongi’s arms. Somewhen, I had opened my eyes and they had stopped talking. Although the rest of way had been silent, I had known that they had been talking through their clan bond. I could have use mine to listen to their conversation, but they would have noticed. It had been like that that they’d know how and where I had been.

Yoongi sighed and started walking towards my house. I didn’t know how he knew it, but he took the spare key under the rug and opened the door. When we were inside, he looked at me to encourage me to talk. Due to my silence, he simply went upstairs without stumbling despite the darkness. He entered Annie’s bedroom and laid me softly on the double bed. I had the feeling that my strength had been stolen. That’s why I wasn’t moving so as not to waste what I had left. Yoongi didn’t turn on the lights and he sat on the floor. He rested his chin on his hands that were on the bed and looked straight into my eyes. The moonlight managed to penetrate the room and hit his face. For a few seconds, I was able to see my reflection in his eyes. It didn’t surprise me what I saw. My eyes were dull and a little swollen just like my face due to my crying. I noticed a few scratches on my cheeks. He was staring at me intensely to try to read my mind. Despite my tiredness, I kept on blocking him.

“Do you want to tell me what happened in that room?” He asked, cautiously. He waited for an answer, but I didn't react. As soon as my eyes had got used to darkness, I mesmerised every detail of his face because my eyelids were becoming too heavy. I knew Yoongi would disappear when I succumbed to sleep. I looked him in the eyes one last time before falling asleep.

As soon as I had regained consciousness, I felt a strong headache and my body was on fire. It was as if my body and my head were volcanoes about to erupt. When the pain became more bearable, I was able to think properly. I noticed that my hands and my ankles were tied to a chair. I couldn't see anything because of the darkness.

“I see you woke up.” That voice was very familiar, but unknown too.

“Who are you? Where am I?”

“We’ve already known each other. We've already met twice. First time in the past and second time today.” The female voice said. I couldn't find out where that voice was coming from because it seemed to come from everywhere. “To answer your question. You're in the depths of your mind. Only you can come here. Not even the other voice can access this zone of your mind.” I frowned.

“What do you mean by ‘depths of my mind’?” I asked. “Why am I tied up to a chair?”

Suddenly the lights were and I closed my eyes due to the sudden clarity. I had to blink a few times to get used to it. I could finally see clearly the person who was standing in front of me. My heart was pounding very fast and I started trembling. My grey eyes met her golden eyes.

“I should introduce myself. My name is Solux.” Her fangs were so long that they didn’t fit in . “I’m your demon.”

“It’s not true.”

“You can deny it how much as you want, but it’s the truth. Whether you like it or not.” She crossed her arms. I tried to get rid of the ropes, but they were too tied up.

“Let me go!” I ordered. I wanted to get away from her as much as possible.

“No.” She refused. I kept on trying to get rid of them though my wrists were starting to hurt.

“Mina.” She sighed. “What you saw today wasn’t an illusion.” I stopped moving and looked straight in her intimidating, yet beautiful eyes. She was so sure of herself. After using all my strength, the ropes around my wrists were loose enough for me to get rid of them. I got quickly rid of those around my ankles and stood up. Before she could have reacted, I had already had ran through the door and away from her.

The corridor was getting darker with each curves, but the darkness wouldn’t prevent me of keeping on running. My instincts were telling me to run faster because of the sound of the flapping of wings. I stopped running when I came across a dead end. I turned around to find another way, but Solux landed in front of me. Her eyes were dull and on me as if I were her prey. I put myself in a position of defense and paid attention to all her moves to prevent an attack. However, a monstrous and inhuman growl caught my attention. The void in her was replaced by fear.
