"Jinnie~ Wake up!"

Chaejin blinked drearily, wondering who was waking him up. It took a moment before his vision cleared up. And when it did, Chaejin nearly had a heart attack.

"Jinnie~ You're awake! Finally!!"

Chaejin backed away as Seyong leaned forward. Seyong grabbed Chaejin's cheeks and stretched them.

"Ow! Hyung, what are you doing?!" Chaejin yelled, smacking Seyong's hands away. Seyong bounded off to the other side of the room, laughing like a maniac.

Soon, Chaejin heard the laughter of his other friends too. He also heard a girl's laugh, ringing out above the deep laughter of his friends.

Chaejin's face flushed the brightest red as he realized that Soomin was still there. "H-hyung! Why are you here?! A-and, how did you even get inside?" Chaejin stuttered nervously.

Insoo, who was sitting on the couch, answered his question. "Soomin let us in." He stated simply. Chaejin turned to look at Soomin in disbelief. She was sitting beside Insoo, a wide smile on her face.

"Why did you let them in?" He asked incredulously. Soomin shrugged.

"I tried to wake you up when I heard the door bell, but you wouldn't budge. So, I peeked through the window and nearly fainted when I saw flame-head's face right in front of it." Soomin said.

"Flame-head?" Chaejin asked, tilting his head curiously. Soomin gestured toward Seyong, his hair was dyed a deep red color. Chaejin's jaw dropped at the sight.

"You dyed your hair?" He questioned. Seyong nodded. "Yeah, after seeing that guy from MYNAME with red hair, I wanted to try it out. I think I pull off the look pretty well." He replied, winking.

Chaejin rolled his eyes. "Anyways, Chaejinnie~ Soomin slept over at your house last night, didn't she?" Seyong prodded, wiggling his eyebrows like he always does.

Chaejin felt heat rush to his face and his eyes grew wide. "S-so? It's not like we did anything!" He shouted. Soomin couldn't help but laugh at Chaejin's flustered cheeks.

"Oh, come on, you know we had a fun time last night, right?" Soomin said, a sly smile playing on her lips. Chaejin's mouth fell open again and he had trouble forming anything coherent.

"I-no-we-not-didn't-I-" Chaejin babbled, unable to utter a single phrase. His friends all went wide-eyed, their own jaws hanging open.

Suddenly, Soomin got up from the couch and slowly made her way towards Chaejin. She leaned down, her lips right next to his ear. As she spoke, her breath tickled his skin. "Have fun cleaning up the mess." She whispered.

Then, she picked up a bag and walked out the door. "Oh, and I'm taking some movies home to watch, if you don't mind." She called back right before the door shut.

As soon as the door was shut, Chaejin's friends were upon him. They were throwing questions at him like there was no tomorrow.

"Why did she sleep over?"

"Did you sleep in the same bed?"

"My Jinnie! Don't tell me you lost your innocence!?"

Chaejin finally had enough. He held up his hand and shouted, "Shut up!!!"

Immediately, the room fell silent. Taking in deep, slow breaths, Chaejin began to explain exactly what happened. "We did not do anything. We did not sleep in the same bed. And of course I didn't lose my innocence!" Chaejin snapped.

"All we did was eat snacks and watch a few movies. Nothing more." He said. Seyong pouted and dejectedly plopped onto the couch.

"Well, that's not interesting at all. You guys didn't even kiss?" He asked, eyes glimmering with curiousity. "No, we didn't kiss." Chaejin replied.

"Why not?! If you wanna complete this dare, you gotta move faster! Make a move on her!" Seyong bursted out, waving his arms in the air for emphasis. "She's the type of girl that likes guys who take control."

"But, I don't wanna be someone I'm not just to get her to fall for me." Chaejin said. Seyong jumped up from his seat and moved closer to Chaejin. He looked right in his eyes, his expression completely serious.

"I didn't want to do this, but now you have a time limit on this dare. You have to complete it within 30 days. If not, then you have to take the punishment." He said. "So, hurry up and show her your charms."

"Take charge! Be agressive!" Seyong rambled on. Chaejin bit his lip, anxiety rushing through him. *I only have 30 days? How is that possible?*

He made up his mind and looked at Seyong. "Okay hyung, I'll be more agressive from now on." He said. Seyong grinned and patted his shoulder. "There we go, our maknae is showing some more confidence now." He said.

Although, Chaejin couldn't help but feel a little regretful about agreeing to the dare in the first place. He didn't want Soomin to fall for him just for a petty reason like that. He didn't want to play with her heart the way she played with other guys' hearts. He genuinely wanted to change her, and to do that, he wanted to just be himself.

Chaejin looked up and met Insoo's hard gaze. Insoo's eyes softened and he looked saddened for a moment, as if he was disappointed. Chaejin knew exactly what Insoo was disappointed in, him.

Soomin was walking down the street when she heard the familiar banter of seven people. Their voices were getting closer and closer to her.

So, she picked up her pace, walking briskly. She shut her eyes, hoping that they wouldn't see her. But of course, those hopes were crushed.

"Hey, playgirl!" Zico's voice rang out clearly. Apparently, U-Kwon must have told his friends his new nickname for Soomin. The group all exploded with laughter, as if Zico had said the funniest thing on earth.

Not wanting to deal with them, Soomin whipped around to face them. "Look, I don't have the patience to play with you right now, so why don't you just go off and be idiots elsewhere."

Kyung pretended to be hurt, clutching at his chest. "Ouch babe, that hurts. Right here." He said, pounding on his heart lightly.

Huffing, Soomin her heels and started to walk away. Before she could get more than two feet, U-Kwon quickly gripped her wrist and tugged her back.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked, a mocking smirk on his face. Soomin's lips curled up into a scowl. "None of your business." She spat.

"Is that any way to treat your man?" B-Bomb spoke up, a devious grin imprinted on his face. He knew exactly how to push Soomin's buttons in the subtlest ways.

"He. Is. Not. My. Man." Soomin enunciated each word carefully, hoping to drive the fact into their thick skulls. She yanked her wrist out of U-Kwon's grip.

She stormed over to B-Bomb, glaring straight up into his eyes. Jabbing a finger at his chest, she spoke in an icy tone. "He is not my man, and there is no way he will ever be my man ever again. You better get that straight or I swear I will make your life a living hell."

B-Bomb couldn't help the chill that ran up this spine, but he didn't let it show on his face. Instead, a cocky smirk adorned his face. "Whatever you say. And, if you don't want him as your man, why not try me? I like feisty girls." He said, his tone teasing and demeaning.

His hands gripped her waist and he pulled her closer to him. Soomin's eyes widened and she stomped on his foot.

B-Bomb cried out in pain and immediately released her. Soomin took off, running as fast as her legs would take her.

“Dammit! That !” B-Bomb shouted, hopping on one foot. His friends laughed at him, obtaining joy from his pain. He shot them all a death glare, not amused by their obvious merriment.

U-Kwon ignored the others and decided to chase after Soomin. His long legs made it easy for him to catch up to her.

She had dashed into a park, sitting herself down on a bench. U-Kwon unsurely made his way towards her, losing the bravado he had before.

Soomin sighed and angrily kicked at the ground. She rubbed her temples, trying to soothe the headache she had gotten from her encounter with the seven devils.

“Why can’t those bastards leave me alone? Especially that damn Kim Yookwon.” She muttered to herself.

U-Kwon stayed back and watched silently as Soomin rested her head in her hands.  He noticed how broken she looked, hunched over as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders.

*Do I really cause her that much stress? Am I really that bad of a person?* U-Kwon couldn’t help but think it was true. Soomin’s haggard appearance from her ordeal with him and his seven friends was completely the opposite before she had talked with them.

U-Kwon noticed how happy and excited she had seemed, swinging the bag in her hand like she didn’t have a care in the world.

*What was it that made her so happy? I thought I was the only one that could make her look so bright like that. After I broke up with her, she was shattered. I remember how she never smiled the same way she did before our breakup. But now, she has that innocent smile again.*

U-Kwon pursed his lips, not liking the way things were. *I should be the only one who can make her smile like that. I should be the only one who can affect her mood in such a way. And, I’ll make sure that I am the only one to do that from now on.*
