"Oh! Kyungsoo hyung too!?" Jongin continued awkwardly and suddenly felt a hand coiled around his wrist.

Hello. It's all nice to meet you all here!" Jongin didn't miss the look Baekhyun gave him after he looked at Hana's hand around the tanned male's wrist. 

It was stupid of him but Jongin still looked for any kind of reaction from Kyungsoo to Hana's act. However,the latter's eyes were firmly set on her with a tight smile.

"We both are having a very nice vacation here,Right,Jongin? ." Hana continued,still holding Jongin tight. "And I'm sure Jongin must be happy to see you all here. Such a coincidence!" She said although her voice faltered when she looked at Kyungsoo who was still not looking at Jongin.

"I am sure you two are." He didn't know about her but Jongin did notice the sarcasm in his tall friend's reply. All this time,he was still searching for Kyungsoo's eyes but not even once the latter looked at him directly.

"I think we should leave the alone with their fun time." All of a sudden, Kyungsoo spoke up softly with a smile which didn't really reach his eyes.

"Why don't you guys join us!? We are having lunch and you all must be hungry!" Hana suddenly said cheerfully. "They should,right Jongin?!" She turned to him with a wide smile he replied with a curt nod. 

"I--I am not really hungry. I ate too much snacks on the way so...Please excuse me." Kyungsoo shot an apologetic smile mainly at Hana but before he could turn away,Baekhyun suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"Huh!? Then why did you come to the restaurant with us for! You must be hungry!" He insisted.

"Just--just to buy some drink! I am kinda thirsty. I am buying it and thinking to go back to my room,that's it!" Kyungsoo replied rather defensively, wriggling out of the hold of Baekhyun.

"Now I am going." He said without sparing a glance at Jongin as he walked past him.

"But you two will be still joining us right?" Chanyeol nodded hesitantly, avoiding Baekhyun's glare.

Jongin kept glancing at the drink sessions where Kyungsoo was tapping his fingers on the counter (which Jongin somehow found cute) and waiting patiently for his drink to arrive. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.

"What do you guys want to drink!?" All three of them snapped their heads up at his sudden words with wide eyes.

"I will treat you two! Just tell me what you want and I will go buy!" He said brightly, wishing that his acting wasn't too obvious in front of Hana who was wearing a frown.

"Then watermelon juice for both of us please." 

Baekhyun,who finally knew what Jongin was up to, answered sweetly.

"What about you?" Hana was surprised when Jongin suddenly turned to her that she didn't know what to answer.

"I..I'm fine with water. Thank you." Jongin high-fived himself in his mind as Hana didn't seem to know his plan.

"Okay then!"

After Jongin brightly went to the drink session, Baekhyun was enjoying so much of the confusion on Chanyeol's face and sudden dark expression on Hana's face when she saw who was still at the drink counter.

"Hi Hyung!" Kyungsoo jumped back a little at the familiar voice. He sent a small smile towards Jongin but turned back his head quickly.

"Long time no see,huh?" Jongin tried again and the smaller male just tapped his fingers faster, wishing for his drink to arrive now.

"Yeah" He replied out of politeness. Though Kyungsoo felt bad, he was trying his best not to get involved with Kim Jongin anymore. Not after when he promised his father.

Sadness flashed across Jongin's face and his smile faded alittle at the obvious lack of Kyungsoo's will to talk with him. But nontheless, he was not the one to give up. 

"Kyungsoo hyung--about what happened at your place" The shorted male turned to look at him, quite startled.

"Here's you order now,sir. We apologize for the long wait." It was a bad timing. Kyungsoo quickly took his drink, muttering a soft Thanks and walked past Jongin so swiftly, leaving Jongin.

He just want to talk but at this rate, Jongin knew it was not gonna be easy.

Rest of the whole day, Jongin had been trying to talk to Kyungsoo but the latter was trying his best to avoid him at all. Jongin was almost thinking that this whole planned trip was nothing but useless and both Chanyeol and Baekhyun could just watch from aside and sighed. At this point, the tanned male couldn't even care about Hana knowing their plan.

He let out a big loud sigh, kicking nothing but the sand underneath his feet,frustrated. It was already 11:30 pm when he finally got up and checked the time on his phone after much tosses and turnings in the bed. 

So there Jongin was now, with a long sweater which he  grasp from his luggage with the black khaki underneath,out for a walk on beach.

He walked with his head down,taking long strides to particularly nowhere. All of a sudden,Jongin snapped up his head to inhale deeply. Only to see a familiar small figure standing not very far away from,seemingly not aware of his presence yet. 

Jongin debated whether to approach the figure or not but he decided with the latter. Unknowingly,his hands moved up to his hair to check whether he still had his bed hair or not. Somehow,he wanted to look good in front of this guy called Do Kyungsoo.

He coughed a little when he get near Kyungsoo who instantly jumped at his sudden intrusion.
"God! Jongin,you scared me!" Kyungsoo said breathlessly with wide eyes.
"I am sorry! I didn't mean to! I just---I'm sorry,hyung." Jongin said softly,lowering his head in shame. He never seemed to do things right in front of Kyungsoo.

"Can't sleep?" He tried again.

"Yeah." Kyungsoo muttered,eyes fixed on the broad sea in front. Jongin didn't say anything for quite a while,just taking in of Kyungsoo's side-view look.

"Hyung,Iam really sorry for--for what happened at your house." Kyungsoo shot him a look before sighing deeply.

"Jongin..."

"I truly am!" Kyungsoo stared into his eyes for a whikr before turning away again.However,Jongin was not letting him go easily. 

"Jongin,let go!" Jongin instead tightened his grip around his wrist with a determined look on his face.

"I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't put my nose into others' matters especially the ones you are sensitive about. And I know you hate me now. But hyung,I am sorry. Please.I don't want us to be like this. By this,I mean--I--not on talking terms. I only know that i don't want you to hate me!" Jongi's voice choked up at the end and he started at the ground instead of Kyungsoo's wide clear eyes.

"I don't." It was a few seconds later that the older male spoke up.

"Huh?" Jongin asked rather dumbly.

"I said I don't hate you." If it wasn't this dark already, Jongin would definitely see the red color blooming on Kyungsoo's cheeks who was currently busy avoiding the younger male's intense eyes.

"For--for real!?" Kyungsoo nodded curtly,still not meeting his eyes. Jongin was currently wearing a very much big which the othee just wanted to wipe off.

"So can you let go of me now? I am going back to my room to rest." Kyungsoo said,staring down at Jongin's hand on his wrist.

"Huh?Oh...OH. right! I'm sorry." Jongin let out a sheepish grin,pushimg back down the emptiness he felt after he lost thr warmth of Kyungsoo in his hand.

"You're going back to your room,right? I will walk  you there!" He said,as he tried to get in sync with Kyungsoo's steps.

"No need. I can walk there my own." Jongin shook his head nontheless.

"What if someone tries to kidnap you on the way? I can protect you by doing this!" He teased which made Kyungsoo scoffed.

"Non sense" In the end, the older male didn't push him away and Jongin was all light hearted before he went to sleep again, thinking about the how Kyungsoo smiled at him when he bid him goodnight.

Maybe,Jongin was so smitten. Maybe he just didn't realize it again yet.

The next day,Jongin was so surprised to his see cousin,Junmyeon glued right beside of Kyungsoo. It had somehow awaken the annoyed and grumpy side of Jongin before he knew and it got worsened when Junmyeon told them he was rooming together with Kyungsoo.

And he did confront his cousin about why he was rooming with Kyungsoo which the older replied "Because Kyungsoo wanted to" with a small knowing smile.

All right,Jongin did call Junmyeon to the trip but he couldn't help but be sulky the whole day.

Now they two were always together. Moreover,Kyungsoo was laughing.Laughing. Jongin had tried so hard to get a small smile from the latter yet even with a word from Junmyeon,Kyungsoo was wearing that big big smile.

"Jongin,isn't thie cute!" He was snapped back by a hand of his arm and directed his eyes away from those 2 laughing  while looking through the bracelets.

Currently,they all were at the beach's local market to buy souvenirs(insisted especially by Baekhyun) before they went back and Jongin just couldn't help but clench his jaw so hard with a glare whenever Junmyeon wrapped his arm around Kyungsoo's shoulder or got closer than necesary just to say something. He sighed.

"Are you okay?" Only then,he knew that ge forgot to reply Hana who was now looking at him with full concern. Once again,he was panged with guilt as he felt like he had given her false hopes,dragging her along the trip as a cover to his father and all.

"I'm fine. Just a headache." He forced a smile. It was true though. Jongin had been waking up in the middle of the night,panting heavily the sweat covering his whole body. He had been having unclear dreams like him talking with or hugging someone in a very fond way with someone who he couldn't identiry which rather frustrated him alot. He wasn't a fan or mystery.

They were leaving the stall together with Hana's arm linked with Jongin's. As they passed Kyungsoo and Junmyeon, Jongin could hear his cousin urging Kyungsoo to buy a bracelet with silver chain,decorated only with a small lock, which the latter had been checking for quite a while now(Jongin could swear he wasn't that staring that much to know that!) However,Kyungsoo just shook his head,saying it was no use to buy it because he was not the type to wear things like that. But Jongin could see that Kyungsoo wasn't really sure about it.

But,what Jongin didn't see was how Kyungsoo looked at him with Hana together and the comforting pat unmyeon gave on the latter's shoulder.

Kim Jongin beamed in delight and satisfaction whenever he looked at the small bag with a familar bracelet in it,in his hands. He took exciting steps to Kyungsoo's room all glee yet praying that Junmyeon not to be there. The tanned male had slipped past before everyone knew,went back to the market and hastily bought the braclet Kyungsoo had been looking. It was cliche,he knew. What made it cliche was that he or he might not buy a braclet with a small key attached to it and a small blush crept onto Jongin's face whenever he thpught about it.He couldn't forget the look the Shop owner lady gave him a knowing smile,saying "How romantic."

He stopped to take a few deep breaths before knocking on the door. It was 4 pm already and Jongin really really hope that his cousin wouldn't be around now.

"Hey!" He greeted with an usual big grin on his face when confused Kyungsoo opended the door. Jongin secretly roamed his eyes behind Kyungsoo to check for the signs of his cousin. But luckily,there were none.

"Urm...hi?" The other said hesitantly and with all his courage,Jongin pushed the small bag in his hand right in front of Kyungsoo.

"Iboughthisbraceletforyou!" Kyungsoo blinked several times,lookibg more confused than ever at the younger's mumblings.

"I....I just saw this at the market and thought it would really suit you." He lied.

And I bought myself a bracelet with a small key while yours is with a lock.

He added in his mind sheepishly.

"Oh." Kyungsoo's plump lips formed an O shape,eyes still wide in surprise. It was overwhelmed with awkward silence after that.

"But why?" Jongin was caught off-guard ny Kyungsoo's sudden question.
"

Because why not" He cleared his throat."Actually...No--No reason. Just strolling around and saw that which I thought would suit you and it isn't that expensive either so..." He said without taking a breath. "So please accept this.Please." He pushed the bag further towards the older male who finally took it hesitantly. 

"But don't you think you should buy for Hana instead?" Kyungsoo questioned again with a small smile.

"I...I'm gonna buy her better ones so don't worry and just accept this!" Kyungsoo's smile faltered alittle but he nodded slowly again.

"Thank…thank you." Jongin nodded in satisfaction, hoping the other would not notice the faint blush on his cheeks.

"He's not wearing it." Jongin muttered grumpily while Chanyeol was enjoying his nearly empty apple juice.

"Huh?" He asked nonchalantly.

"Kyungsoo." The tanned male muttered,his eyes still not moving away from the trio at the beach. He and his friend stayed behind at the restaurant where they could see the beach. Kyungsoo was now with Baekhyun and of course,Junmyeon like always. Hana was staying in her room for today to rest for awhile. 

"I bought him a bracelet but he's not wearing it!" Chanyeol's eyes widened in surprise and he instantly put down the drink.

"You bought him a present!?" Chanyeol exclaimed whicg Jongin only returned with a bored look.

"But...but why!?" The taller of the two asked,confused. The tanned male clicked his tongue.

"Because I wanted to." He mumbled,rather shyly.

"What? What's with that smirk!?" Jongin frowned when he saw his friend smirking with his head shaking.

"Nothing." 

"And--and why is he always with that-- with that Junmyeon hyung!?" He waved his arms in air in frustration.

"Because they are....close?" Jongin scoffed. "Tell me is Kyungsoo close to me like he is now with Junmyeon...before the accident." His friend stared at him quite a while,opening his lips and closing it several time.

"Well.." Jongin sat up straight with his full attention.

"It's for you find out" The tanned male groaned in frustration.

"What!? I just think it would be better to find out the relationship between you two by yourself!" The taller male shrugged.

"I don't get why people are being so secretive about this!" 

"It would be more meaningful if you know it yourself,Jongin." Chanyeol said with a sad smile which Jongin couldn't understand.

"What happened?" His friend asked, worried, when Jongin suddenly groaned grabbing his head in two hands.

"Nothing. Just a....Just a headache." He said,rubbing his temple. "It kept  coming back."

"Don't you think you should at least ask Sehun? He would know what to do to ease it." The tanned male shook his head stubbornly.

"No need. I will manage it. We are going back soon anyway....Too soon." His voice faded at the end and his eyes glued to the male who was laughing at something Bakehyun said at the beach. A loud sigh from Chanyeol could be heard from aside.

"We will be ordering only this for now." Junmyeon said polite as he gave back the menu to the waiter.

Small and polite conversation went on among them with both Kyungsoo and Jongin rather sitting back and doing the listening part. Hana was seated right beside Jongin when Kyungsoo was right in front of him with Junmyeon and Chanyeol,Baekhyun on his side.And of course The tanned male kept glancing at Kyungsoo until the food arrived.

"It's kinda sad to leave tomorrow,huh?" Hana said dreamily which Bakehyun nodded in agreement and stole a side glance at his friend.

"Are you having fun hefr?" Kyungsoo's head perked up at Junmyeon's sudden question before a soft smile formed on his face and he nodded. Jongin just rolled his eyes.

"I think we two became closer too.Right,Jongin?" Hana asked,placing her hand above Jongin's on the table. Jongin just laughed awkwardly at that and gently took back his hand which probabaly embrassed Hana as she retreated hers awkwardly too. Honestly,on all these days he was with her,his mind wasn't with her for sure. He did feel sorry for her but...but....

The food suddenly arrived which Baekhyun beamed up and suddenly started eating first.

"It's okay." Jongin muttered when Hana put the curry into Jongin's plate. He accidently caught Kyungsoo's eyes on them when he suddenly glanced at him before the latter looked away.

"Thank you." Kyungsoo muttered when Junmyeon did the same act as Hana to him. And Jongin just clenehed his hand underneath the table.

And from aside,Baekhyun and Chanyeol just tried to enjoy their dinner with these uncomfortable tension.

"Please excuse me" Kyungsoo excused himself after about 15 minutes of Hana trying to get Jongin to a conversation and Junmyeon pampering Kyungsoo with questions and the worst,Jongin's unmoving eyes on him.

Not very long,Baekhyun gave them a tight smile and followed his friend to the toilet.

"Urm..sorry.excuse me. From Manager." Jongin also requested politely and let out a sigh of relief,forever thanking his manager for resucing him out of this awkward situation. His steps leading to the toilet where there were not much people around.

Just when he was about to go back to the awkward table after a few promises to his manager that he would tell him about his schedules and wouldn't disappear off like that next time, that he heard the voices coming out from the toilet. It wasn't that loud but from where Jongin was standing, he could at least make out some words.

"Is this all your plan!?" He heard Kyungsoo's not-so-loud voice coming out from the toilet. 

"I'm sorry! I don't want to see you--see you like this,Kyungsoo! Why don't you give him a chance!?"Jongin was in between the decision of going back and staying here. 

"Give him a chance!? What chance!?" 

"You still like him.Don't you?" Jongin halted to stop when he heard Baekhyun's question. He knew it was bad to eavesdrop other people's conversation but... 

"No,Baekhyun. I don't...I don't like him. I love him. And I think I always will,as cliche as it sounds..." answered, Kyungsoo with a hint of sadness in his tone.

"Oh..Kyungsoo....." Jongin felt like he had stopped breathing for a moment and the world around him was whirling around. He turned right away from the spot although his legs were shaking so much.

Jongin didn't understand why inside his chest so hurt not whe he felt like crying at Kyungsoo's sincere confession.

He has someone he loves.

He kept repeating that in his mind.

"I'm sorry I'm..I'm going back. I don't feel very good." Jongin said in a rush,not meeting any of the eyes when he got to the table.
He did not stop though he heard Hana calling out to him.

Kyungsoo picked at the food on the plater,losing his appetite when his mind was somewhere else. Or rather,on someone else. When he and Baekhyun came back from the toilet after that talk, Jongin was nowhere to be seen and according to Chanyeol,the former just rushed off saying he didn't feel good.

And of course,Hana did go after him. Kyungsoo tried to ignore the wince in his heart at the though.

Is Jongin in love with her?

Suddenly,Junmyeon's phone ringing had brought him back.

"Sorry." He apologised them three with a small smile.

"Yes?.....Oh,Hana......What....Calm down....What!?.....Okay.Okay.We are coming." 
They all were looking at Junmyeon with  worried.  expressions.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Jongin---Jongin--he drowned."
