It's Monday morning and Hoseok had woken up a bit earlier than usual to get ready. He has never done this before, not even when he had an important test and had forgotten to study the night before. But he guesses that's just how special Hyojin is. She throws him off guard with her smiles, her presence is enough to make him a nervous wreck, and her voice sends him to a different dimension. Just thinking about her lifts Hoseok's already bright mood and he finds himself with a big smile on his face as he grabs his book bag and leaves his apartment.
 

After a ten minute walk, he makes it to the campus where he spots Namjoon and Yoongi sitting on a bench and walks over to them. Seeing them talking with content expressions and Namjoon casually placing his hand on Yoongi's knee as he laughs made Hoseok feel even happier as he came to a stop in front of them. Yoongi was the first to look up and had a questioning expression when he saw his friend just standing there and staring at them with this weird smile on his face.
 

"What's up with you, Hoseok?" asked Yoongi.
 

"It's just a great morning." replied their friend with a shrug, smile never leaving his face.
 

"No, really, what's up?" said Namjoon with curious eyes.
 

Hoseok just chuckled as he ruffled his blonde locks, leaving Namjoon looking confused and Yoongi a little curious. Jin joined them just then and greeted them as he slung an arm around Hoseok's shoulders, the latter looking so ecstatic by now that the two sitting thought he would burst any minute.
 

"Jin hyung, do you know why Hoseok's smiling like a weirdo?" asked Yoongi while nodding his head towards their friend.
 

"He always smiles like that." said Namjoon with a snort.
 

Not even their words could change Hoseok's happy mood as he just laughed, making Namjoon and Yoongi look at him like he had gone crazy. Jin was the only one who knew why Hoseok was being like this and smiled as he gave his friend a few pats on the shoulder.
 

"Our Hoseok here is in love." announced Jin, sounding like a proud parent.
 

"No way..." said Namjoon, squinting his eyes in doubt.
 

"Poor girl." said Yoongi with a blink, then let out a surprised yelp when Jin swatted him on the arm.
 

"You mean lucky girl, Yoongi." said the eldest with a glare.
 

"No, I'm pretty sure I meant poor girl." said Yoongi as he rubbed his arm with a smirk.
 

"Wait, you're serious?" asked Namjoon, his eyes round and curious.
 

"Yes." said Jin a little impatiently.
 

"You're lying." said Namjoon as he crossed his arms and leaned back on the bench while squinting his eyes again.
 

"Have you actually seen the girl, Jin hyung?" asked Yoongi with a raised eyebrow.
 

"Well... no." replied Jin with a small pout, but then his face lit up, "But! I know Hoseok's telling the truth about there being a girl!" he said in a louder than necessary voice.
 

"How?" asked Namjoon, Jin wasted no time in grabbing Hoseok's chin and turned his face towards the couple sitting down.
 

"Doesn't this face look like a person in love?" he asked while looking at each of them.
 

"No, that just looks like it hurts." said Yoongi as he eyed Hoseok's squished cheeks.
 

"Hoseok! Tell them who the girl is!" demanded Jin as he let go of his friend's face.
 

"Her name's Hyojin. She's in one of my classes and we're actually partnered up together for a project." said Hoseok with a gentle smile, he didn't even seem to mind that his face was manhandled just now.
 

"Is she the one over there looking at us with like we're delinquents or something?" asked Yoongi, his eyes looking somewhere behind Jin and Hoseok.
 

The latter quickly turned and his face lit up with the brightest smiles when he saw that it was indeed Hyojin standing there and looking hesitant. Hoseok didn't think twice as he got out of Jin's hold and walked over to her, leaving his friends to look after him.
 

"Huh, so the girl does exist." said Namjoon with a genuine look of surprise.
 

"I told you." said Jin as he crossed his arms with a smug look.
 

They then looked over at Hoseok interacting with the girl and saw the adoring look he was giving her as she said something while looking through her book bag. They also saw how she had tucked her hair behind her ear as she handed Hoseok a folder, the latter took it with a smile and the guys saw a very light blush on her cheeks.
 

"What do you guys think?" asked Jin with a grin.
 

"She likes him." replied the other two in unison.
 

"The touching of the hair was a dead giveaway." said Yoongi like it was a no-brainer.
 

"I thought so, too." said Jin with a laugh.
 

"She's really pretty." commented Namjoon out of the blue, making Yoongi look at him with raised eyebrows.
 

"Come again, Namjoon?" he asked.
 

"He said she's really pretty!" repeated Jin loudly, "Geez, get your hearing checked, Yoongi." he added with a grimace before looking at the other two again.
 

Namjoon laughed while Yoongi frowned, he got up and gave Jin's arm a good pinch. The latter yelped in surprise and pain while looking at the younger with an offended expression before pinching him back. They had a mini glaring contest before getting into a play fight and Namjoon was now crouched forward while clutching his stomach with how much he was laughing. The three of them didn't see Hoseok coming back with the girl.
 

"Um, guys, can you please be civil for a second?" he asked with an amused look while the girl eyed Jin and Yoongi a little nervously.
 

Namjoon's laugher died down as the other two looked up from the position they were in, Jin had Yoongi in a headlock while the latter had his arms around the older's waist. They pulled away from each other and Yoongi gave Jin one last push before sitting back down on the bench. Hoseok quickly grabbed and held onto Jin's arm before the latter could do something to their mint-haired friend.
 

"Guys, this is Hyojin." said Hoseok, a big smile appearing on his face as he looked over at her.
 

He then mentally cooed when he saw her shrink back a bit from having all eyes on her and suppressed the urge to hug her when she looked at the ground while fiddling with her long sleeve.
 

"Hi! My name's Seokjin, it's really nice to meet you." greeted the eldest with a bright and friendly smile, she looked up at him and gave a polite bow.
 

"H-Hello. It's nice to meet you, too." she quietly greeted.
 

"I'm Yoongi." said the mint-haired male with a small wave, which she returned and caused him to chuckle.
 

"And I'm Namjoon." said the blonde with a kind smile and a wink, making her look at the ground again with a flustered look while uttering a quiet 'Hello.'
 

"Hyojin and I are going to class now, so I'll see you guys later." said Hoseok, looking a little too happy to be leaving.
 

The others just nodded and Hoseok grinned as he placed a hand between Hyojin's shoulder blades for a moment to lead her away. The guys saw how he right away struck a conversation with her and rolled their eyes in amusement.
 

"She definitely likes him." said Namjoon once they were out of earshot.
