It's Friday and Jin was walking to his apartment after a long day of classes. The lectures weren't the problem since he could catch on quickly, the problem was a certain Park Jimin. If Jin was having confused feelings towards the younger before, then he was definitely a confused mess now. Just what was Jimin trying to do? From what Jin remembers, Jimin was always a shy and awkward kid who would rarely do things on his own. Now it seems like Jimin has found a new confidence in himself and the things he does, which Jin thought was great because the younger was finally coming out of his shell.

Jin also knew these changes were happening because Jimin's now surrounded by outgoing people like Taehyung and Hoseok and also by people who kept him grounded like Jungkook, Namjoon, and Yoongi.

But in a way, Jin missed having Jimin come up to him and ask him things; whether it was helping with his homework or just to come over and watch a movie. Things were much different now that Jimin had friends his own age to hang out with and Jin sometimes felt a little left out even though he had his own friends his age. Sure, the two would still talk and hang out like before, but Jin wasn't dense... he knew Jimin was getting tips on how to be a straight up tease.

First thing, the eye makeup; Jin knew Taehyung was behind that because there was no way Jimin would know how to smoke out his eyes that well on his own. Second thing, Jimin's attempt at showing Jin his flips; the latter knew the younger was good at those because he had secretly seen when Jimin would practice with Jungkook, he just didn't know why Jimin had failed. Third thing, Hoseok; Jin realized a little later that Hoseok was only pretending to flirt with Jimin to get a reaction out of him... he just didn't know why.

The list went on, but point being... Jin knew.

He made it to his apartment and was startled to see Hoseok just standing there in front of his door and staring hard at it, as if he was trying to open it with his mind or something.

"You know, you look suspicious as hell standing there like that." said Jin as he took out his keys.

"Oh, I know. The lady over there keeps peeking out her door." said Hoseok with a cheerful smile, he then looked over a few doors down.

"You see? I'm not a weirdo! I was just waiting for my friend!" he called out to her, making the woman slam her door shut.

"Tsk, rude." said Hoseok with an offended look.

Jin just shook his head with a chuckle and opened the door, both stepped inside and Jin tossed his book bag on the coffee table while Hoseok went straight into the kitchen.

"Why do you only come here when you run out of food?" asked Jin as he sat on the small two-seater couch.

"I do not." said Hoseok as he came back to the living room with a bag of chips in his hands, making the older give a pointed look at it.

"It just so happens I didn't eat lunch today." said Hoseok while raising his nose in the air in a pompous manner, he then joined Jin on the couch.

"You looked a little frustrated this morning, is everything okay?" asked Hoseok as he opened the bag.

"It's Jimin." replied Jin with furrowed brows.

"Did you guys have a fight?" asked Hoseok with a confused look, he had never seen or heard of these two arguing.

"Not at all, it's just... the other day, Jimin was... he was..." said Jin, not knowing how to put it into words.

Hoseok waited patiently for Jin to get his thoughts together and munched on some chips in the meantime. He then heard Jin let out a sigh and looked over to see the older had leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees.

"Jimin's been acting different lately." said Jin, deciding to start from there.

"Oh, you noticed?" asked Hoseok somewhat sarcastically, making the older shoot a glare in his direction.

"Like I was saying... Jimin's not his shy self anymore, he's actually been pretty forward lately now that I think about it." said Jin.

"Forward?" repeated Hoseok with an interested look, he scooted a little closer to Jin and lightly bumped his shoulder with his own.

"How forward?" he asked with a grin.

"Not as forward as you, obviously." said Jin with a laugh as he playfully pushed Hoseok.

The latter laughed as well and when he looked at Jin again, he was pleasantly surprised when he saw the pinkish hue on his cheeks.

"Oooh, what did Jimin do?" asked Hoseok with even more interest.

"I was at his house the other day and I was trying to convince him to play another game of Mario Kart," Hoseok rolled his eyes at that part, "But one thing led to another and... Hoseok, I swear Jimin was about to kiss me." said Jin, his eyes big and confused.

"But then he moved and acted like nothing happened." he finished.

Jimin, you sly tease... thought Hoseok with an evil chuckle, making Jin look at him suspiciously.

"Why are you laughing?" asked the older.

"I think the real question here is why are you so freaked out over this?" asked Hoseok with a grin.

"Because!" exclaimed Jin with big eyes once more.

"Because I don't know what to think after that! The way things were at the time, it was like looking at a different person." he said.

"Well, Jimin did grow up... and may I say, he grew up nicely." said Hoseok with a smirk.

"Hey, wipe that ert look off your face when you're talking about Jimin." said Jin as he pushed his friend.

"What? I said this to him just yesterday and you should have seen him, hyung, Jimin was got so shy about it. It was really cute." said Hoseok with a chuckle.

Jin didn't understand why every time he talked about Jimin with Hoseok, he would end up either really annoyed or get seriously protective over the younger. It was like his mind acted on its own and made him say things... like right now.

"Do you like Jimin as more than a friend, Hoseok?" asked Jin, with no hints of humor on his face or tone.

Hoseok caught on that the jokes were over and he, too, put on a serious expression; he was going to get through to Jin if it was the last thing he did.

"I'll admit I felt this attraction towards Jimin. At the time, I didn't know what that feeling was because I had just met him and thought he was the cutest thing I've ever seen." said Hoseok, speaking these thoughts for the first time.

"But as I got to know Jimin better, I realized the affection I felt for him was completely platonic. I came to care so much about him as a friend that there was no room for me to see him as something else."
