8 October 2016 (Saturday), 2.15 p.m.

We went to eat cold noodles. I made a surprise confession to her.

 

Dahyun : You've never had cold noodles before?!!

Jinho : They don't have this in Malaysia. I was very hesitant to try it out when I first came here.

Dahyun : Now, you can try it for yourself!

 

She gave me a pair of chopsticks. I kept staring at the bowl of noodle. I could tell how cold it was from the water condesded around the bowl. I really can't take big bites of anything cold. My teeth are very sensitive.

Using the chopsticks, I scooped up a decent amount of noodle and took my first bite. Not only was it cold, the noodles were very chewy. The watery-soup had strong flavors, but I felt like it doesn't mix at all with the noodle. Obviously, I can't let Dahyun know that.

 

Jinho : It taste great!

Dahyun : Really? I'm glad you like it. What else have you not eaten?

Jinho : Kimchi. I've tasted it before, but I didn't quite like it.

Dahyun : A lot of people are like that. What do you like to eat then?

Jinho : Anything plain, or rice.

Dahyun : Ah... That means any girl can cook for you.

 

I dropped the noodles hanging from my chopsticks. I was surprised to hear her say that.

 

Jinho : Why? Are you planning on cooking for me?

Dahyun : Yes. What do you like me to cook?

Jinho : Don't hurt yourself. I've heard that most of you girls can't cook.

Dahyun : Then, you can teach me!

 

She wrapped her arm around mine. She was trying to act cute and lovely so I would agree to her idea. It worked.

 

Jinho : Okay! I get it. Let's go to the supermarket after this. You pay for this meal.

 

She smiled as she was very excited. I took my time eating the noodle as I was still trying to get used to the flavor.

 

8 October 2016 (Saturday), 3 p.m.

We went to the same supermarket where we first met. She teased me about how I looked like when I was looking at the milk cartons back then.

 

Dahyun : By the way, why did you buy so many CDs?

Jinho : I suddenly felt like spending. The store owner was also very nice to me. So, what do you want to cook?

Dahyun : Anything simple. I want to succeed on my first try.

Jinho : Okay. Ramyeon then!

 

She began pouting. She knew I was just joking around, but she thought I was underestimating her.

 

Dahyun : Teach me how to make the fried rice you made for me!

Jinho : Ah okay! That's an easy one.

 

After mentioning the fried rice, Dahyun remembered that I had given one to Mina as well.

 

Dahyun : Jinho, who do you like more? Me or Mina?

 

I stopped looking around and gave her my attention. She was feeling jealous. I wanted to play around with that.

 

Jinho : Why? Is it bothering you?

Dahyun : You two broke up, but you were planning to give her fried rice on your birthday. Do you still like her?

 

I walked closer to her and held her right hand with my left.

 

Jinho : I don't plan on giving my heart so easily to anyone. Not anymore. You better not be thinking about giving up already.

 

After hearing that, she stood up on her toes and pecked me in the lips.

 

Dahyun : I don't plan on giving up. I will tell Mina that I like you when I return to our dorm.

 

I was a little surprised to hear her declaration.

 

Jinho : Will you be okay?

Dahyun : Of course. I know that it's over between you two. You don't have to worry about me.

 

At that moment, in my mind, I felt like I got hit by a bus. I just learned that Mina never told Dahyun about our kiss, or our date afterwards!

 

Mina : Dahyun? Jinho?

 

Speak of the devil! I turned around to see Mina and Momo. They happened to be shopping here
