Jinho : I'm fine! Stop worrying!

Mina : You passed out! You must have hit your head too hard!

Jinho : I'm fine! My head's okay!

Mina : What about your knee? Did you hurt it when you pushed me?

 

Me and Mina are arguing whether or not I should go to a hospital. We literally didn't move from the side of the street. People started to look at us.

 

Jinho : Let's talk somewhere else! People are looking at us.

 

I took her hand and we ran away.

 

15 September 2016 (Thursday), 11.30 a.m.

We decided to have an early lunch. We had to calm down and have a talk.

 

Mina : Where did you get that windbreaker?

 

I looked at the windbreaker and smiled.

 

Jinho : I went to look for you at the clothing store. When I saw it, I felt like I had to buy it.

 

When I first saw the windbreaker, it reminded me why I dated Mina then. I thought she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I was happy when she agreed to date me. Besides, I needed one anyway.

She saw me smile as I kept looking at it. It reminded her of my smile when she gave me the previous green windbreaker. Thinking about it more, she began looking gloomy.

 

Mina : What are we still doing here?

Jinho : We're here for our date.

 

Mina looked at me, as if she suddenly felt hope.

 

Mina : But I thought you don't like me anymore?

Jinho : I never said that. You just ran away.

Mina : So you still like me?

 

I did, but right now, I'm not sure anymore. It's true I'm still attracted to her, but my heart feels lost right now.

I still had feelings for her. That's why I kissed her, but I also made the resolve to move on. With the thought of dating Mina again, my heart was uncertain.

 

Jinho : I don't know anymore. The truth is, I thought we've moved on.

Mina : So you have moved on...

 

She seems depressed. I took Mina's hand.

 

Jinho : Mina, I'd love to be your boyfriend again, but I can't right now. I went through so much, just so we can be friends again. I feel very confused right now.

 

Mina saw how conflicted I was. She could tell I wanted nothing more than to tell her what she wants to hear, but I couldn't.

 

Jinho : And I want you to know. This is not your fault.

 

She was surprised to hear that.

 

Jinho : This whole mess started since the car incident. I just need some time.

 

Mina finally smiled. She could finally understand what I was thinking and how I was feeling. She's no longer confused.

 

Mina : Thank you, Jinho, for being honest with me.

Jinho : You're welcome. Do you still want to end our date?

Mina : No! It's not fair if Dahyun got to have a day with you, and not me!

 

I laughed. Mina has begun acting like herself again.

 

15 September 2016 (Thursday), 2.p.m.

 

Mina : I need to get you a birthday present! I never got you one.

Jinho : Okay! Wherever you wanna go.

Mina : It's your present! You decide where we go.

Jinho : I want to walk in your heart.
