Time was always something that compelled a person. It was present and always moving forward despite the events that seemed to take place. No one could control it no matter how much they tried. Time wasn’t something that could be physically touched either. It was simply something that existed and moved at its own pace.

After saving Young Jae, time just seemed to fly by with little to no worry in the world. At first, the group had been worried that Sungjong might retaliate. A bad guy rarely gave up that easily, after all. However, as the days passed, there were little to no signs of Sungjong. Even when they saw Yongguk, he merely waved at them before moving to wherever he needed to be. Finally, Young Jae felt completely safe at the orphanage.

The second all their worries lifted off of their shoulders, they seemed to finally have fun without a care in the world. Instead of wishing for time to move faster, they now wished that it would move slower so that they could enjoy the time that they’ve been given. Despite the fact that time didn’t move any slower, the kids had fun regardless.

It truly was a great place after all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A small grumble escaped the boy’s lips as he scratched the left side where his rib cage was currently located. It was early morning, maybe a few hours before breakfast would be served. His eyelids felt like lead as he tried to look around the currently pale blue room. His hands slowly felt around the bed, trying to find the pair of glasses that he usually adorned. He probably would have found them too, but his hand quickly felt something hard yet, soft and warm. Slowly looking down, his eyes took a few moments before seeing the outline of something underneath the blanket. His sleep filled mind couldn’t figure out what this could be, so he pushed himself up to a sitting position.

Daehyun stared for a moment as he let out a small yawn. From what he could see, there was definitely a figure of some sort underneath the blanket. There wasn’t much movement from whatever it was, but he wasn’t entirely sure since the only light source in the room was fairly dim at the moment. Looking around for a bit, his eyes finally found the familiar outline of what he assumed was the switch that was currently at eye level. Reaching forward, Daehyun had just barely pressed the switch with the tip of his finger before sleepily falling back onto the bed. Along the walls, bright stars began to shine a bright neon green, overpowering the natural light around the area of the bed.

With a small sigh, Daehyun turned his head towards the bumps underneath his blanket. Staring for a brief moment, Daehyun finally reached forward as he trailed his fingers along the curves. Curiosity filled Daehyun as he felt the smooth curves, his hand feeling as much of the curious object as possible. It was a bit squishy, which made him a little bit of a pillow, but there were hard parts that were more like the wood on the bed. One area, did catch his attention though when it seemed to be almost completely squishy, though it was a bit difficult to grab with the blanket in the way. When his curiosity began to fill a little more, he reached up and pulled on the blanket. Little by little, Daehyun slowly realized whom was in bed with him. The second he could focus in on the familiar face of the sleeping boy, Daehyun grinned almost instantly. Setting the blanket at shoulder level, Daehyun moved closer to the other boy before pulling him into a tight embrace. He did wonder, though, when the other boy had gotten into his bed.

A small grumble soon escaped from the smaller boy as he shifted a bit. When he didn’t feel comfortable enough, the boy shifted again before he slowly opened his eyes just enough to see what was currently restraining him. At first, he couldn’t see what was in front of him all that clearly. Considering the fact that his eyes were blurred with sleep and the object in question was way too close for him, it was just a jumble of colors. However, the second he felt something rub against his nose,  Young Jae quickly jerked his head back. The two boys soon stared at one another, surprise turning into relief for one boy and confusion for another before Young Jae laid his head back in its previous spot. Just as Young Jae began to slide his arm under Daehyun’s arm and over his waist, Daehyun decided to break the silence. “Did I.. scare you?” (DH)

“Only a little..” (YJ) Daehyun felt bad about scaring Young Jae, but the more Young Jae cuddled with him, the less Daehyun worried about it. Daehyun just wanted to make sure that he didn’t accidentally do it too often. Young Jae smiled a bit as he briefly brushed the tip of his nose against Daehyun’s. “I really like when you do this. Your nose is super soft.” (YJ)

“I should do it more then?” (DH)

“Mm.. not right now. I’m suu~per sleepy!” (YJ) Young Jae giggled a little before closing his eyes. With a small smile, Daehyun tightened his hold on Young Jae as best he could. Since it didn’t seem like it was breakfast time just yet, it seemed like a better choice to go back to sleep as opposed to walking around with nothing to do. Plus, who knows if anyone else was awake at this time?!

They laid there for a moment, their breathing in sync with one another simply because Daehyun wanted it to be. As nice as it was to lay in another person’s arms, Young Jae was starting to feel constricted. Well, there was that and he preferred laying on his right side. On that note, Young Jae slid his arm off of Daehyun before turning onto his right side. At first, Daehyun had assumed that he had done something wrong. Though, that theory slowly dissipated the longer his arm remained on Young Jae’s waist. Biting his bottom lip out of nervousness, Daehyun moved as closely as possible to Young Jae before tightening his hold. When nothing else happened, Daehyun let out a relieved sigh as he pressed his forehead against the back of Young Jae’s head. “Good night, Young Jae.” (DH)

“But it’s morning..” (YJ) Young Jae let out a small yawn before bringing his knees halfway up to his chest. Placing his hand on Daehyun’s arm, Young Jae smiled a bit as he closed his eyes. Daehyun made him feel warm, safe, and loved. There was nothing in the world that could make him give up this feeling.

“...Will you still tell me good night?” (DH) Daehyun knew that it was now morning, but he didn’t know what else to say. Were they supposed to say ‘good sleep’ then? It didn’t sound as good, but what else was there? Still, Daehyun wanted to hear ‘good night’ from Young Jae. He didn’t necessarily know why he really wanted to hear it, but he still wanted to hear it.

“D-Do I... have to?” (YJ)

“Mhm.” (DH)

“Mm..” (YJ) Maybe he really should just say it. It wasn’t all that hard at all to say something simple, plus, it would make Daehyun happy. Considering the fact that sleep was quickly taking over once more, Young Jae let out a small yawn before adjusting himself a bit. “Good night, Daehyun.” (YJ)

A small smile crept onto Daehyun’s lips as he closed his eyes as well. For some reason, just hearing those words from Young Jae made Daehyun feel... satisfied. AS confusing as it was, Daehyun decided against questioning it as he made sure that they were both comfortable. Once they were settled, Daehyun let out a small, satisfied sigh. “Thank you..” (DH)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Sungjong! Let me in!” (Y) Yuri knocked on the door yet again, hoping that Sungjong would listen to him this time. Even if Sungjong blamed her for their failures, Yuri still considered Sungjong her bestest friend in the whole wide world and bestest friends never give up on each other! Still, no matter how much she tried, Sungjong just didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. “Come on let’s go and play! I never see you anymore, come out the door. It’s like you’ve gone away! We used to be best buddies and now we’re not.. I wish you would tell me why!” (Y)

Another knock and still.. nothing. Why wouldn’t Sungjong play anymore? Why didn’t he talk to them anymore? Yuri wished that she could make sense of the situation, but nothing seemed to answer her questions. She probably would have knocked once more, but a voice soon grabbed her attention. “It’s useless, Yuri.” (BY)

“But..” (Y) Her eyes looked longingly at the door as tears slowly began to well up within her. Yuri didn’t want to leave Sungjong all alone, but she also knew that Yongguk was right. Sungjong wasn’t himself anymore and as much as she wanted to deny it, there may be no way to bring back the old Sungjong. Still, did that mean that she had to give up that easily?

“It’s all Young Jae’s fault!” (Z) Yongguk and Yuri looked at the littlest one, whom had a slightly angry look on his face. “I heard Daehyun say before that Young Jae has magic! I think Young Jae put a spell on Sungjong and that’s why it’s all Young Jae’s fault!” (Z)

The two older kids looked at one another before turning their gaze back towards Zelo. As much as she wanted to agree with Zelo, Yuri already knew that there was no such thing as magic. If there was, then Young Jae could have used a magic spell to protect himself instead of relying on someone else to save him. “Zelo. It’s not Young Jae’s fault. Young Jae didn’t do anything wrong. He came here just like the rest of us and Sungjong went after him because he’s a new kid.” (BY)

“But Young Jae put a spell on you to make you like him! I saw it! You were smiling and and everything!” (Z) Yongguk sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. How was he supposed to explain this to Zelo? Zelo had a rather.. active imagination and trying to get him to understand most things normally proved to be quite difficult.

“I think that.. Young Jae’s a good person. He made Yongguk smile and isn’t that a good thing?” (Y) Zelo looked up at Yuri before looking back at Yongguk. Zelo looked down towards the ground in slight defeat as he reluctantly nodded his head. Yongguk couldn’t help but smile a bit as he reached up and ruffled Zelo’s hair. Looking up at Yongguk, Zelo sheepishly smiled as he put his hands behind his back.

“Let’s leave Sungjong alone and go play. We should.. make new friends.” (BY) Zelo thought for a moment before nodding. He didn’t really want to make new friends, but if Yongguk said so, then Zelo would do what he was told. Yuri, however, just wasn’t certain about it. When she made eye contact with Yongguk, Yongguk glimpsed down at the ground for a brief moment before giving Yuri a brief smile. “I think it will be okay. You want to have fun too, right?” (BY)

Yuri hesitated, but she nodded nonetheless. When Yongguk held out his hands, Zelo was quick to take hold of one of them before both boys looked at Yuri. She thought on it just a little longer before taking a hold of Yongguk’s hand and smiling a little. “Okay! Let’s go play!” (Z)

Zelo quickly began walking, pulling Yongguk and indirectly, Yuri, along with him. As Zelo hummed happily to himself, Yuri gave one last look at Sungjong’s bedroom door before looking back forward. She may have felt bad about leaving Sungjong behind, but she also knew that Yongguk was right and this was the best thing to do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sweat slowly began to appear while he stuck his tongue out at the corner of his mouth and furrowed his eyebrows. The small boy tried his best to remember and match the movements of one of the girls at the orphanage. Unlike everyone else, this girl was a dancing machine that he couldn’t help but admire. Although he didn’t know it now, this girl practically radiated charisma as she moved her body along with the music. Even if she made a mistake, this girl played it off as if it had been part of her plan the entire time.

“Come on, Jongup! Move a little more like this!” (HY) This girl is Hyoyeon, one of the newer kids to the orphanage. She had arrived a little after Young Jae, but she had made her presence well known. One way or another, Jongup had managed to get Hyoyeon to teach him to dance and, well, there they were. In the middle of the playroom, Hyoyeon was trying to teach Jongup how to dance and while she was having fun, Jongup was focusing as hard as possible to get his movements just as good as Hyoyeon’s. “No, no, no! You have to move more! You’re acting like those tall hat people that aren’t allowed to move!” (HY)

While those two were busy with the dance lessons, four other children observed from nearby while playing a game of war. They were split up into the classic teams of boys versus girls and so far, things didn’t seem to be going all that well for one of the boys. He was quickly running out of cards and if he didn’t win any cards within the next few rounds, then he was toast. Luck seemed to turn his way as finally, he pulled a card that initiated a duel. Looking up, he quickly made eye contact with the person that had pulled the other card. Taking in a deep breath, both kids laid a card face down while uttering the usual phrase that went with it. Only on the last syllable, or war, did they play the final card. “I.. de.. clare.. war!” (HC & SH)

Himchan let out a defeated groan as he pulled at his hair and threw his head back. He had finally played a strong card, which just so happened to be a King, but Seohyun managed to play an Ace. Seohyun smiled as she took the entire pile of cards before neatly adding it to her own deck. Woohyun simply shook his head in disappointment as Himchan laid on the ground in defeat. “You’re not very good at games, Himchan!” (SU)

“I know that!” (HC) Lifting his head up, he folded and placed his arms in front of him before resting his chin on his arms. Just as a small pout came onto his face, a shadow soon hovered over him, causing all four children to look up. The owner of the shadow furrowed his eyebrows a bit as he attempted to swallow the lump in his throat. He probably wouldn’t even be facing this group now if it wasn’t for the fact that the little one behind him had wanted to play as well. Taking in a deep breath, the boy built up all of his courage to ask just one, simple, question.

“Can... we play with you too?” (BY) All but Woohyun stared at Yongguk with surprise. After all of the conflicts they’ve had, who could blame them? The awkward silence coupled with the continued stares was beginning to unnerve Yongguk and just as he was about to change his mind, Woohyun broke the silence.

“Sure. Why not?” (WH) Everyone instantly turned to look at Woohyun, whom motioned for Yongguk and Zelo to sit down with them. Sunny and Himchan weren’t necessarily certain if it was a good idea, but Seohyun simply smiled as she looked up at the two.

“Yes. I think it’ll be more fun with more people to play! But, you have to wait until this round is over. Okay?” (SH) Yongguk nodded before taking a seat next to Himchan. Both boys turned a little red as they looked away from one another. Luckily, no one seemed to notice this as the other three started their game back up. After all, they needed to finish if they were going to include everyone in their game.

“Yongguk..?” (Z) A quiet, fragile voice, broke Yongguk’s thoughts as he looked back down at his little brother. Zelo stared up at Yongguk with large, curious eyes, almost as if he was penetrating Yongguk’s very soul. Yongguk felt a little uneasy with Zelo staring at him like this, but a simple hum seemed to be all that was necessary to get Zelo going with his thoughts. “How do you play?” (Z)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He held his breath as he stood in front of the one thing that acted as a barrier between him and the angelic voice that captivated his very being. Time and time again, he had wanted to go in and listen to her voice without having to worry about being caught. Sadly, each and every time, he just couldn’t bring himself to doing something like that. His palms would become moist, his legs threatened to give out underneath him, and his heart raced like there was no tomorrow. There was no way that someone like her would ever be interested in someone like him.

“What are you doing..?” (L) Sungyeol jumped away from the source of the voice as he turned to see what had spoken to him. It was that Myungsoo kid that usually lurked around Taeyeon and Jessica in a rather creepy way. Always standing at the door or in the shadows, just far enough to keep his eye on things. Sungyeol found it creepy, though he didn’t necessarily realize that that was exactly what he was currently doing. “Are you.. spying on them?” (L)

“Spying?! Not me! It was you!” (S) Sungyeol pointed an accusatory finger at Myungsoo, but Myungsoo quickly slapped Sungyeol’s hand away. Taking a step towards Sungyeol, Myungsoo placed a hand on Sungyeol’s shoulder before leaning in, making sure to speak in a low tone so that only Sungyeol could hear him.

“It’s rude to point at people.” (L) That’s all he had to say?! Sungyeol just couldn’t understand what was with this guy! Just as Sungyeol reached up to push Myungsoo away, Myungsoo pulled away just enough to create eye contact between them. They were awkwardly close to one another and Sungyeol could feel Myungsoo’s grip on his shoulder tighten. Just as the air around them seem to tense up, a voice penetrated the silence.

“Myungsoo! What are you doing?!” (J) Myungsoo and Sungyeol both turned to see that the door was now open with both Taeyeon and Jessica standing at the doorway. While Taeyeon stared in confusion, Jessica stared with a little bit of disgust. At first, neither boy understood the meaning behind the look she gave, but her question alone brought realization up fairly quickly. “Are you two about to kiss?! That’s so gross!” (J)

In that instant, Sungyeol felt himself be pushed backwards before tripping on his own feet. He landed roughly on his bottom and if it hadn’t been for his arms and hands, he would have most likely hit his head as well. With a small groan, Sungyeol had just barely looked up with anger until his gaze was filled with the last person he wanted to be around at this very moment. “Are you okay?” (TY)

Sungyeol stared with wide eyes, unable to figure out what he should do. On one hand, he had this perfect opportunity to finally speak to Taeyeon. It may even be his only chance since he always watched her from a distance. On the other hand, he could run away now and hide from his humiliation. Taeyeon wouldn’t fall in love with a boy that gets pushed around, would she? Sungyeol wanted to impress Taeyeon with his manly charms! Though, maybe, just this once, he could summon his courage and actually talk to her with no regrets. Taking a hold of Taeyeon’s now outstretched hand, he pulled himself up to his feet before nodding. “Y-Yes! I’m okay! Thank you for your help!” (S)

Taeyeon giggled a little upon seeing Sungyeol’s stiff figure and hearing Sungyeol’s abnormally loud voice. This would be the first time that they speak to one another without Sungyeol running away. As weird and awkward as it was, Taeyeon still found it rather.. nice. It was certainly different, that was for sure. “That’s good. I thought Myungsoo hurt you.” (TY)

A slight tint of red appeared on Sungyeol’s face as he rapidly shook his head. He was already embarrassed about being pushed over by creeper boy. He didn’t need an additional embarrassment of being hurt by him too! Just as he ran out of things to say, someone clearing their throat quickly pulled both Taeyeon and Sungyeol’s attention. Myungsoo had that sad yet annoyed look whenever a child had just finished getting scolded and now had to apologize. He scratched the back of his head, hesitant about saying anything until a nudge from Jessica reminded him that he couldn’t get out of this. “I’m... sorry Sungyeol for pushing you.” (L)

Was he serious? Myungsoo was actually.. apologizing?! Sure, Sungyeol hadn’t spoken two words to him until today, but this seemed like a huge achievement! He probably would have celebrated this small victory, but hearing someone clear their throat drew his attention. “Aren’t you going to say something to him? It’s not nice to keep someone waiting.” (TY)

Did he really HAVE to say anything to him? It’s not like he needed to. They could just live it at that, but one glance at Taeyeon instantly made him mumble under his breath. Sungyeol knew that there was no getting out of this. So, with a reluctant sigh, he looked back up at Myungsoo. “It’s.. okay.” (S)

“Good! Now.. um, can you help us with something?” (TY) Jessica quickly made her way next to Taeyeon as she nodded with contained excitement.

“Yeah! We really need your help! Both of you!” (J) Sungyeol and Myungsoo stared for a moment before looking at one another. Instantly, their glares connected, battling one another as they tried to get the other boy to step down. If it was really important, then it should be fine if they only had one helper! When it was evident that neither of them would step down, they both turned to the girls in an attempt to convince them that they were the best choice.

“You don’t need two! I’m the best!” (S)

“Don’t listen to him! I’ll always help you with everything!” (L)

“I can help with everything too!” (S) Myungsoo turned towards Sungyeol before pointing an accusatory finger at him.

“You’re just copying me now!” (L) Sungyeol slapped Myungsoo’s hand away as his eyebrows furrowed.

“I am not! You’re a big fat liar!” (S) The bickering continued between the two as the girls watched. It was evident that neither boy would be backing down and who knows how long this would go? With one glance from Jessica, Taeyeon let out a small sigh as she covered her ears. Taking a step closer to the males, Jessica took in a deep breath before screeching as loud as she could. Myungsoo and Sungyeol quickly clasped their hands over their ears as they turned their attention towards a giggling Jessica.

“That’s what you get for fighting!” (J) As their hands slowly moved away from their ears, the two boys grumbled a bit as they looked away from each other. Myungsoo made a mental note not to make Jessica angry after this occurrence. Had he known about Jessica’s ear shattering screech, Myungsoo wouldn’t have even started an argument with Sungyeol.

“Now will you two listen?” (TY) Taeyeon took a step forward as the two boys looked up at Taeyeon. With a bit of reluctance, both boys nodded their heads. As much as they didn’t want to be around each other, they both also couldn’t help but let their feelings take control. “Okay! Well we need you two to listen to us sing and tell us if we’re good or not! We wanna enter a contest that we saw on a flier that Jessica found!” (TY)

“Yeah! We wanna win and be singers!” (J) It was clear that they were really looking forward to possibly making their dreams come true. Neither girl could contain their excitement as they gave each other a huge grin before looking back at Myungsoo and Sungyeol. “So? Will you help us? We wanna get better!” (J)

Despite their newfound hatred for each other, both boys nodded in agreement. Just being around the one that they liked was enough for them, but to also be able to help them out was like a wish come true! As long as no one got in their way with love, then there shouldn’t be any problems. “Okay! Let’s start!” (J)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A quiet hum escaped his lips as the small boy began to stir in his sleep. Little by little, sleep began to leave him as the real world began to step in. He just barely opened his eyes when a stinging sensation soon forced them back shut. A small whine escaped his lips as the small boy reached up and attempted to rub away the sleep crust that had practically assaulted him at that very moment.

After a few attempts more attempts, Young Jae finally managed to open his eyes completely before looking around a bit. The sun was a little brighter now, but the shade still kept it from engulfing the room in its usual bright light. He laid there, blinking a few times so that his vision felt normal before he began to push himself up. Young Jae probably would have succeeded to, but he quickly felt something restricting his movement.

Looking down, Young Jae stared for a moment before realizing that he was staring at the top of someone’s head. He was briefly confused, but he quickly remembered that he was currently in Daehyun’s bed. Furrowing his eyebrows a bit, Young Jae attempted to peel Daehyun off of his body, though.. it proved to be a bit difficult. Every time he slid Daehyun’s head off of him or moved his arm away, Daehyun would put it right back in its previous position. Finally, Young Jae let out a small whine before he began shaking Daehyun’s shoulder. “Daehyuuun! Wake up! I really have to go to the bathroom! Wake up!” (YJ)

“Mm..?” (DH) Daehyun looked around, his eyes refusing to open any further than a small crack. He was fairly confused though as he pushed himself up just a bit as he rubbed at his eyes. Once he was sitting up straight, Daehyun stretched as he let out a small whine. “What... is it..? Is it breakfast yet..?” (DH)

“I dunno... I just have to go..” (YJ)

“Go where..?” (DH) Sleep was still looming around Daehyun as Young Jae made his way over to the bed’s ladder. His eyes still refused to open too much as he watched the form of Young Jae’s head disappear from his vision. Letting out a small yawn, Daehyun searched around the bed before finally producing the pair of glasses that would let him clearly see once more. “Young Jaeee...” (DH)

When there was no response, Daehyun let out a small whine as he crawled over to the ladder. With a small pout, Daehyun carefully climbed down the ladder before looking around. With yet another yawn, Daehyun slowly made his way over towards the bathroom that they shared. Opening the door up, he leaned against the doorway as he rubbed his right eye a bit. “You had to go to the bathroom..?” (DH)

“Mhm..” (YJ) Daehyun sleepily nodded as he dragged his feet over to the sink. Stepping onto the stepping stool, Daehyun stared at himself into the mirror before turning the faucet. While Daehyun began brushing his teeth, Young Jae finished up at the toilet before making his way also to the sink. Daehyun moved over as Young Jae stepped up to wash his hands. Looking into the mirror, Young Jae smiled happily. “I like being super tall like this! The stool makes us almost as tall as Mister Kim!” (YJ)

Daehyun nodded, a slight thought crossing his thought. Looking down, he blinked for a second or so as he lightly stomped onto the stepping stool. Pulling his tooth brush out, Daehyun looked at Young Jae in the mirror. “Why are we using the stool if we’re big enough to reach the sink already?” (DH)

The two boys stared at the other boy’s reflection before Young Jae shrugged. Daehyun smiled a little as he continued brushing his teeth, watching as Young Jae began to brush his teeth as well. Hopefully, today’s breakfast would turn out being something really tasty!

Only a few minutes had passed before Daehyun finished brushing his teeth. Since Young Jae was a little more thorough, he took a little longer to brush his teeth while Daehyun went to go change his clothes. Once he was done rinsing his mouth, Young Jae shined his pearly whites as he examined them in the mirror. He turned his head here and there, making sure that it looked like how his father used to show him, before nodding in approval. Young Jae was about to step down from the stepping stool when suddenly, a pair of hands came up from behind and grabbed his tummy. Instantly, Young Jae let out a yelp as his face reddened a little. He quickly turned as much as he could, his eyes landing on a rather amazed looking Daehyun. “Wow! I really like how your tummy feels! I want it as mine. Can I have it?” (DH)

“N-No! It’s.. it’s impottable! You can’t have my tummy!” (YJ)

“Impottable..?” (DH) Daehyun’s hands stopped as he took the moment to think. Young Jae reached down, attempting to pull Daehyun’s hands away, but he soon let out a small yelp as he felt Daehyun lightly squeeze his tummy once more. “Oh! Do you mean impossible?” (DH)

“Is that the right way to say it?” (YJ) Daehyun nodded as he continued rubbing and groping Young Jae’s stomach. One might say that he may also be having a little too much fun doing this as a grin stayed plastered on Daehyun’s face. Young Jae, however, was feeling a bit too uncomfortable to let Daehyun’s actions pass by. “D-Daehyun..! I-It feels really weird..!” (YJ)

“But I really love your tummy! Can I do it a little longer? Pleeeease?” (DH) Young Jae looked towards the ground with uncertainty before giving a small nod. Noticing Young Jae’s reluctance, Daehyun toned down his grabbing a bit as he gently rubbed Young Jae’s belly. A small sigh of relief escaped Young Jae’s lips as he watched Daehyun’s hands. After a minute or so had passed, Daehyun finally pulled away. “Okay! Let’s go eat!” (DH)

“Okay.” (YJ) Young Jae hopped down from the stepping stool before slipping his hand into Daehyun’s. Their hands interlocked as Young Jae gave a sheepish smile, his eyes shyly looking up at Daehyun. “Can we get Mister Buttons first?” (YJ)

“Sure! Let’s go!” (DH) With a slight squeeze, Daehyun grinned happily as he led both of them out of the bedroom and towards their bunk bed. His hand briefly slipped out of Young Jae’s hand as he quickly climbed up the ladder and grabbed Mister Buttons, whom was partially underneath the blanket. Once he confirmed that it was indeed Mister Buttons, Daehyun climbed back down the ladder and handed the Teddy bear over to Young Jae before taking hold of Young Jae’s hand once more. “Okay! It’s time for lots of yummy food! Adventuuu~re!” (DH)

Young Jae soon felt his arm being yanked as he stumbled after Daehyun. Once he had regained his footing, Young Jae let out a relieved sigh as he smiled a bit, adjusting his other arm as best as he could so that his hold on Mister Buttons was a bit better. Catching up to Daehyun, Young Jae held his smile as he looked at Daehyun’s side profile. Although he didn’t necessarily like it when his belly was rubbed, he still liked being in Daehyun’s company.

Chapter 48: I swear this is like one of the best fanfic I have ever read. The childhood part was really interesting and nicely done, I wish you would detail some scenes but that's okay. And now... I don't know where you are going with this but I feel so excited. I am sad for Jin though because for the first time, he found someone important and yet, he lost it. That's so cruel you know. R. I. P Taehyung ~ ;-; Kyungsoo is a freaking bastard, hope he would end up in prison. Seungjong too! Feels like you are plotting something with him haha! Especially since he didn't get his revenge. Damn.... Daehyun will get to suffer again. X) about DaeJae, I love how slow you are making it. That's frustrating and sweet at the same time. And BangHim gosh, I want them to be together officially. But each time something interrupt them. X) is their couple going to be part of your plot or is it not that important? That's funny because I thought from the childhood that Himchan would have ended up with Sunny ~ By the way, that's been a long time we haven't seen her, is she going to make a cameo haha?
I also found it funny how Zelo and Jongup didn't like each other and how dependant Junhong seems to be towards Jongup when they both grew up haha! I actually laughed a lot when they bickered back then and now Junhong likes his hyung haha! Funny ~ Anyway I'm just going to end this review because I spent the last four nights reading these 48 chapters, I feel like I'm not making any sense anymore haha! Well, fighting for the next chapter, I am kind of excited to read it now! Fighting!!!!
